I'm guessing Compucast is aware of location on the robot since some of our PC's have a way to sense invisible enemies.

![]() |

And it keeps popping into visibility and out.
I could always ready an action to MM it when it appears as well, but I like the idea of the Microbot assault if the GM allows it.
But we maybe better off finishing off the easy to see target first to reduce the amount of damage we are taking.

![]() |

Yeah, I was thinking that too. We can finish off the second periastra this round.

GM The Ragi |

I've looked into that spell a bit, seems to be an area of effect that does not use 'area of effect' in its heading - I'll make a decision before Compucast's next round. Though it doesn't seem to be a very effective spell.
Right now fighting the assassin robot is like fighting an umoving predator (from the films) - you can see the distortion, you know it's there - but it's still hard to hit because you can't see it properly.

GM The Ragi |

You can cast the Microbot Assault spell targeting the area you’ve seen the assassin robot shooting from, and by bumping into him they are able to locate and harass the robot - they wouldn’t be able to jump from another enemy towards him, though, because of the invisibility. He can also move away from it, and the microbots wouldn't be capable of following...
It does not negate his invisibility though, just makes you Aware of Location, so the concealment remains.

So likely not that helpful.
I think focusing on getting rid of the other combatant maybe my best bet.

![]() |

If I use my motion detector to get blindsense(vibration), am I correct that would also only make me "Aware of Location," so it would still have concealment from me?

GM The Ragi |

Yeah, it would be useful if the creature was moving around, but his ability allows him to move first and then attack, while maintaining his special invisibility - so you can always tell where he is from his shooting.

![]() |

If it was standing still or trying to hide using invisibility your blindsense would negate its bonus from being invisible and allow you to be aware of its location, but it would still have the concealment bonus when you attack it.
I have a different PC with a motion detector in his easy access kit so he can use it immediately and still have a weapon in his other hand if he runs into an invisible enemy.

GM The Ragi |

That's a wrap! Post your votes in the Gameplay thread, just in case, and your characters are free to go.
I hope the other combats didn't involve 4 radically different creatures at once, 'cause this one was violent to keep track of. I hope I got most of it right, but since no one got any permanent damage, it should be all good.
Thanks for playing!

![]() |

Thanks for getting us to the finish line! That battle is a handful.

![]() |

Big thank you to GM Ragi for coming off the bench in the 89th minute and kicking the winning goal for us as GM. That combat was difficult, but a worthwhile payoff for such a high level adventure.
Thanks everyone for playing. You all had cool PC's that were fun to play with. I hope I get a chance to join a group with you all again soon.

![]() |

Likewise, much appreciated effort. Thanks for keeping me alive!

![]() |

@Compucast, sorry about shooting you in the back, by the way. I knew you could take it.

![]() |

No worries. I was more thinking of ... well... every other encounter. I kept dropping down to very low health.
Have to rename myself YoYo.

![]() |

GM Ragi - will you be generating chronicles for us?

GM The Ragi |

Is that allowed? Since the game was already reported by the original GM

![]() |

I've no clue - hadn't thought about that.
I'll ping GM Ilmakis and see if he can do them.

![]() |

Any word on the chronicles on this? If it's been reported, I would think we could get the Chronicles from Ragi, so we at least have it documented, even if it's a little unorthodox.

![]() |

Was just going to ask the same thing. I would think the reporting is the important part, and since that's done, it wouldn't matter as much whose name is on the chronicle as the GM. Otherwise, we could always take it to the VO team in Flaxseed and see if they have any issues with it.

![]() |

I sent Ilmakis a PM, but haven't heard back from them (nor have they posted in another game I share with them).

![]() |

I too was wondering about this.
Given it was reported by ilmakis I guess we could just fill in the chronicle in his name?

GM The Ragi |

Probably best to ask Tyranius at the Castamir's Flaxseed Station about it.
In this age of digital reporting and no boons on sheets, they are pretty much decorative.
The PCs got 14,482 credits each, the one information that doesn't show up in the organized play page.

![]() |

It's most common for a GM who takes over to prepare chronicles. You should put the PFS number for the GM who reported the game in the spot on the sheet. Instead of a signature, you can type the words 'filled out by _your name_ on behalf of _original GM name_ and just put your initials.
If this is not an option and you need one of the VOs to prepare the chronicles, let me know.

GM The Ragi |

Seems reasonable, I'll get to it.
GM Ilmakis has such a low PFS number I had to double check over a couple of threads...

![]() |

According to another chronicle I got for it: 2703279

GM The Ragi |

Alright, see what needs fixing: Rise of the Vault Lord chronicles

![]() |

I'm a SS(Jad) faction these days.. I can change the chronicle if you don't want to reissue it.
Have to work out how to change that on my profile.

![]() |

Looks great for me. Thanks again!

![]() |

I should have out of tier credits since I played the scenario at level 8. Also, as long as you're fixing stuff up on my chronicle, I slotted Exo-guardians Champion for this scenario. Looks good otherwise. Thanks!

GM The Ragi |

Spanking new sheets for Compucast and Faraeon on the link!
Faraeon's might even show up twice, since my phone is being silly.
Have to work out how to change that on my profile.
My Account > Organized Play > Summary > Edit "button" on the right side of the screen, aligned with the character's name

Many thanks.
