This character is currently involved in another scenario. I'm signing up with him assuming I'll finish that scenario before we start. If that doesn't happen, though, I do have another PC within the level range that I could swap in.

GM Ilmakis |

Sorry for the late start, work have been crazy since Thursday and I've just finished ...
Will update the game Tuesday at noon CST.
Thanks for your patience!

![]() |

Good news! My scenario for this PC just wrapped up, so I'm all ready to go. Might just have to make a few quick purchases and I'll be all set!

![]() |

Benoit has a link in his tag line to his character sheet. His Paizo profile is not up to date.

![]() |

Purchases:
ultra capacity battery
two super capacity batteries
(has a regular battery in his laser atm)
Force soles mk2.

![]() |

Benoit has four extra standard batteries for all his weapons and his powered armor. His drone TEC-9 has four high capacity batteries to use as reloads for its guns.

![]() |

Ashuer has three batteries (3x 20) between his two pistols though his primary, the laser, has a conserving fusion. His rarely used sniper rifle has 29 rounds.

![]() |

Pan has 6 hi capacity batteries, 4 standard batteries, 171 heavy weapon rounds, 11 small arms rounds.

![]() |

That previous count doesn't include the batteries that are currently in his weapons and armor.

![]() |

I've got 6 standard batteries among my various equipment and one high-capacity battery.

![]() |

Current ammo load out:
Batteries - 2 standard batteries, one for each of his powered guns
30 regular rounds for small arms
15 explosive rounds for small arms
Purchases:
Spell Ampoule of See Invisibility
Spell Ampoule of Remove Condition
Serum of Healing, mk 2 (x2)
Ring of Resistance, mk 2

Do we maybe need to 'bot Faraeon for a round to keep things moving?

![]() |

Sorry about going AWOL. I swear I kept opening this campaign and started to get caught up, then had to address stuff at work and didn't get the come back to this at all the rest of the day. Finally coming back to this at 11pm because this is apparently the only time I get to post now. (Sigh)

![]() |

Just realized I never slotted boons:
Personal: Scoured Stars Survivor
Faction: Second Seeker (Luwazi Elsebo) Champion, Improved
Promotional: T-shirt Reroll
Social: United Society
Ally: Spirits of a Doomed People
Relevant Slotless: Elixir of Renewal, Marked Field Agent, Starfinder Insignia, Surviving Companion, Team Spirit, Claimant to Salvation

![]() |

@GM Ilmakis, are we waiting for a player to take his or her turn?

![]() |

Is Faraeon's icon the one with a blue surround?

GM Ilmakis |

No that's Gab
Faraeon is already inside the building. I've made some change so that's more easy to see.

![]() |

So to shutdown the power supply, do we need to be out of combat since it takes 10 minutes?

GM Ilmakis |

Yes, It's better to do it out of combat. You need to follow the Guiding Intelligence instructions for 10mn to reboot the system.

![]() |

Does TEC-9 have line of sight on the living magefire?

![]() |

We might have to kill the magefire to stop the infestation.

![]() |

Is the magefire above the bathroom or in the bathroom? That seems like an important fact to know, lol. I'm guessing outside since TEC-9 had line of sight on it.

GM Ilmakis |

It's inside. I've updated the map to say that there is a hole in the bathroom that you can use to get in or out.

![]() |

Crap, I forgot about Benoit's electrostatic field. All the wights hitting him should have been taking 2d6 electricity damage.

![]() |

Think I'll be happy if I just end up coming out of this one alive.
Saves this encounter: 4,10,3,7,1,9,8,3,12
Add in other d20 rolls in this encounter:3,6,12,1,4,4.
The first encounter wasn't that much better.

![]() |

We have a chance to rest or is there another immediate crisis we need to deal with?

![]() |

I'm hoping for rest!

![]() |

Away for a few days, back after the weekend. Please bot me as required.

![]() |

Damn, just realized Benoit had improved overcharge which adds another 1d6 to his damage rolls. That plus his electrostatic field is another 3d6 of damage I've been wasting!

![]() |

Can anyone explain the inductive bandolier to me? I've seen it a few times, and I just don't get it. From what I can tell, it allows you to spend 2 charges from the bandolier to charge another battery by 1 charge. Is that it? Because if so, 19,000 credits seems *wildly* overpriced, so I feel like there has to be some useful function that I'm just missing.

![]() |

It can hold a very large number of charges, and you don't have to cart batteries around.
Some armour functions that take charges per minute might be able to run continually off that.
I'm trying to think what they may be. Ahh here we go:
invisibility detector
Echolocation unit
Lifeshield

![]() |

Does it work with automatic weapons that use up all their ammo in one round?

![]() |

Takes a minute to recharge them. But hey, if you had enough arms you might be able to get some use of it for that.
Remember, it takes a minute to recharge things, and only gives back one charge, so it is best for things that have a slow continual drain, like the three upgrades I listed above. Seems like quite a niche item, although continual echolocation would be quite sweet. Likewise the life shield if you are exploring the right (or wrong) environment.

![]() |

I suppose I could see some scenarios, where you're a long way from supplies for an extended period of time where it would be potentially useful ... but it still only gets you 50 charges, and then it's out of charges itself. You could carry around 10 full replacement batteries for the same bulk and a fraction of the cost.
The one benefit that I can see is that it seems like it will charge any type of battery ... but it seems like some kind of battery adapter like that should be available for a much more affordable price.

GM Ilmakis |

Sorry, my son get sick and hadn't time to get here.
He's now better but had to get to the doctor and monitor his temperature.

![]() |

Just glad your son is feeling a bit better. Scary when little ones get sick.

![]() |

No prob, glad he is doing okay.

GM Ilmakis |

Sorry for my delayed presence from the past days.
After taking care of my son, work have been hell... had to work from 8am to 8pm yesterday and had to continue today...
As we are close to the End Date of Outpost and we are at the last fight. I will report this game and work on the chronicles.
