Expectations
1. Posting expectations are standard: 1 post per weekday, 1 post per weekend. If you plan any extended absences (>3 days) between February 16 and April 10, please post them at the beginning of the scenario so that I can plan. I don't like botting characters - I consider playing to be a privilege, not a chore - and I will likely delay you rather than bot you if I can't reach you by PM.
2. Behavior expectations are stricter than in my other PbP games: Because I have no recruiting control, adults are expected to behave (and have their characters behave) as if there are minors playing the game (whether there are or not). Rule of thumb: if I have to look up the official rule, the answer is almost certainly no. If you want to play a mean-spirited, sexualized character, PM me and I'll consider running a game outside of the convention with different behavioral expectations.
3. Character expectations are looser than in my other PbP games: I still don't like CHA-dumped characters (or CHA-dumped players), but as I said, I don't have recruiting control, so all I can do is be honest. The game is more fun when we remember each other as "the one that pretended to be a saxophone" or "the one that lost their turkey leg to an in-combat crit fail" rather than "the one that complained an awful lot when they only hit 60% of the time rather than 70%."
4. Timing expectations. Most of my PbP scenarios take 5-7 weeks to run, which would put our expected completion at the end of March (this gives about 2 weeks' cushion). I will know more when I get the scenario, but I don't expect any problems completing or needing to rush.

Hey, Watery Soup, I’d love a shot at this. Unfortunately, I’m just getting (back) into PFS2, and my only 2 characters are both finishing up other scenarios. We should be wrapped by the start of Outpost, but i guess there are no guarantees. Are you comfortable with me holding a spot? Or would you prefer players who have characters available now?
Let me know. Hope I get to participate. :)

This game is not open for recruiting yet. It will be in late January. Look for an announcement.
Assuming you're still in the game when recruiting actually begins, I'm pretty sure you're allowed to sign up as long as you think you'll be done by the beginning of Outpost.
The final ruling would be done by The Powers That Be. Outpost is a pretty structured convention, meaning that what I prefer has nothing to do with anything. :)

Oh, I see - you guys are accessing this thread directly, instead of through the convention links.
No problem, but I guess I should have added something to Expectations.
This game is part of the Outpost convention. Please read through the thread for rules, announcements, and updates.
Player signups begin on January 29, 2021, and will be conducted through the links from that thread (i.e., not here). Gameplay will begin on February 16, 2021, and run through April 27, 2021 (or earlier if the game finishes early).
