I finally got back in, too. I also had to clear my cache, cookies and reset my password. Wow.
Rîleth Mithrandir
Just a FYI: I have a new fur baby at home now and it's taking up some time as the kitten is still getting used to his new home and wanting a lot of attention. If I'm slow to post, this is the reason why. :)

Sorry. I had a nearly 15 hour workday yesterday.
Not only does an 11 probably miss, but 4 piercing would be ineffective fi it had hit, right? Captain Worthless for this round. Not that he had much chance to be a hero like Red.

LOL...big dumb hero! :)

Just for complete clarity: While there was SOME discomfort involved, it was more akin to having put the shoe on the wrong foot than walking down Bourbon Street after dark as a puritanical 8 year old with his mother (which I have done, BTW).
I wasn't avoiding posting because I didn't want to post. I had delayed posting trying to figure out how I was going to handle it.
Me in the 17 to 19 year-old range would probably have tried to dry-hump her leg at the table. Not even close to that person anymore, though . . .. And Perri's much better behaved than I was at 20, though by 22 I was getting better.

Oops. Went to bed about 30 minutes before you asked for my action, and then had an ugly evening when I got home form work. We put the grandkids to bed about 20 minutes early, so that we didn't need to kill them. Wife tells me that one or the other has been going off all day. She was ready to do bad things to them before I got home.
But trying to keep the man from dying was pretty much my plan the whole time. Probably should have done it the first round, really, but we were WAITING for the target!
Rîleth Mithrandir
Just a courtesy heads up: I'll be out of town for a wedding all day tomorrow and won't be back home until well after midnight.
I'll be back on the board posting the following day (my Sunday/your Saturday).
Happy Weekend to all.
:)

Is Shel going in alone for recon? Or do/can the rest of us follow? I'm confused at what to do next at this point. Thanks.
Rîleth Mithrandir
Okay, thanks for clarifying GM. I did see the map, however the posts were just with Shel, so that's where the confusion came in for me.
Shel Whispertongue
I’d like, I don’t know, maybe 15-20 feet between me and the party, while I’m scouting a little bit ahead, if that’s cool. Except for Rileth, who has stealth as good or better than mine!
Perri Purrun
Sheesh. I post in the late evening the first night my world returns to normal, and by the time I get to posting on the next normal night I'm getting called out for not having posted, yet! <grin>
Now that my schedule is relatively back to normal, I sneak a peek at the threads now and again through the day, get home, make dinner, do what the wife needs me to do, help put the grandkids to bed, and only then am I supposed to sit down in front of my computer and consider the games. Generally, that's no earlier than 1930 Central.
That's a normal workday in my life. Sorry the time stuck at home with the big storm last week may have established some bad expectations.
I'm not upset in the least, honestly. Just think I need to make sure the temporary circumstances aren't confused for my normal behaviors. That way will just frustrate us all.

The wounded goblin wielding the bow and attacked by Rileth holds the bow in one hand and draws his short sword and slashes at her.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Before I can post Rileth's new action, who did it slash? Rileth or Shel? If it’s Rileth, it would have hit as her AC is 16, yet no damage was rolled. Can you please clarify, GM?

I completely missed this. It slashed at Rileth. I appreciate the honesty. For that, you take minimum 1 point of damage.
The Runelord
Honest party-pooper time.
The AoO on Perri was made using a D4 not a D20.
Oops - sorry - will amend. 1 point of damage - so healing still happens.
Perri Purrun
I don't think I've asked, yet.
Anybody have Teamwork feats?
One of my divine abilities lets me share a teamwork feat. I don't have any, and am really not planning on learning one any time soon.
<shrug> Not a big deal if it never becomes an advantage, really, just figured I should check.

And all 4 of us had something significant go right in that last round.
Shel Whispertongue
I’m having a blast! Great job everyone!
GM, how do we adjust hit points for leveling? Do you prefer half +1, max, roll for it, or what method do you like?

Shel Whispertongue
Red, are you going to be fighting mostly with a 2 handed sword or a battle axe? If you are using the 2 hander most of the fine, you should take the ring of protection. If you are going battleaxe and shield for the most part, I could make better use of it.
I’m fine either way so it’s your call.
Rothgarr "Red" Titan-Slayer
Actually, I can now wield the greatsword in one hand so will be going sword and shield style. I do 2 points less damage but 19 AC normal and 17 when I rage, instead of 14. Plus it looks cool, to me anyway, wielding a greatsword in 1 hand. Either you or Rileth should have the ring, since you'll be in melee a lot.
Rîleth Mithrandir
- I am certainly enjoying the game, GM. Thanks!

+1 BAB

And, since I was just reminded you asked, no, I'm hating the game. It is just so unbelievably bad. I mean, we haven't died yet or anything!
<grin>
One of the rules I use in interpersonal interactions is to never provide praise on demand. Heh.
This is going much better than many PBP games I've started.
I'm not sure how I feel about the "guided exploration" post, that took us through the area with nothing significant to find. On the one hand, we might not have followed that route, exactly. On the other, in a PBP setting, that might well have saved us a couple of weeks of posting. I don't dislike it enough that I went looking for a chance to complain, and the positive impact on the pace of the game can be truly amazing. Just outside what I expected, and a little outside my familiar, comfortable zone. Not wrong. Don't think it needs to stop. Just . . . different.

The coins we just took off Tsuto and the goblins:
10 pp and 18 gp.
Shel took possession of the Masterwork Thieves' Tools & the Ring of Protection.
Rileth took possession of the +1 Comp Shortbow +20 arrows (since Perri didn't want it).
Ameiko imbibed the CLW potion Red was holding onto.
To make it somewhat fairer, perhaps the coin should only be distributed between Red and Perri?
That would mean that each male gets 5 pp + 9 gp.
Is this good with everyone? I hope once we have an opportunity to find more loot, we can make a list and distribute the loot more evenly/fairly across all 4 of us.
Perri Purrun
I'm big on using found treasure where it best strengthens the party, not making equity more important than group improvements.
As an example, half of the platinum could purchase a Healer's kit. Think that Perri having a Healer's Kit is going to benefit Perri more than anyone else?
