After a moment Elena steps inside the chamber. "The heat is a strange contrast to, well, just about everything about this place. And yet, there must be a purpose to it."
She also takes a moment to search the space, searching for magic as always but also for any hidden switches, compartments, or otherwise. Her rationale is that there's been a lot of secrets in this place, and that not finding a secret is no indicator that there isn't one.

The party makes their way to the natural cavern area in the southeast of the level. Skipping the downward path by the water for now, they check out the horizontal path that leads west.
Not too far into the tunnel, Bibi discovers a secret door that leads north. Looks like the door is intended to be reasonably obvious on this side.
The tunnel also starts to stink a bit, like fish mixed with oily sweat. It's not pleasant. There's the faintest flickering of light coming from further west too.

"I think we know what's beyond that door, right? If so, let's continue further along this tunnel," Elena says, wrinkling her nose. "This smell is not helping my headache."

Elena encourages the party to press on. The stength gets a little worse, but it's largely manageable. The source of the light is hard to find, and the passage continues longer than expected. In truth, it's bioluminescent moss that's providing the light.
After a hundreds of feet the party is ready to turn around when Bibi and Carrufikus think they hear voices up ahead. It's more than two voices, and while they can make out the sounds it's in a language neither speaks.
The tone is one of bickering.

There is an overpowering stench in this chamber, like rotten fish mixed with oily sweat. The warm, humid air only adds to the foul atmosphere. Unlike the previous chambers, this one appears to be a natural cavern, dotted with limestone stalactites and stalagmites, making it hard to see where the room ends. When you step into the room a bit, the smell is overwhelmingly potent. FORT DC 16 or be Sickened.
Bickering are a trio of strange creatures. Each humanoid’s scaly hide is dull gray. Their frames resemble that of a cave lizard, with a long tail and crests on its head and back. MAP
