This inspired me to go back and re-read the "halberd was actually just a stick all along" post and it was still funny the second time :)

Grattfaulk if you have any Attacks of Opportunity, Blue would have provoked as he moved past you.

Alrighty, so it appears Kane's player has been inactive on the boards for close to two weeks. If/when Blaydsong returns they can pick right back up, but in the meantime I'll just bot them right away.

Grattfaulk: Don't forget your third action! Another attack probably won't hit, but you could try intimidating?
Bac: Remember you've got a hero point!

Sorry for letting the holiday weekend keep me from getting our concluding post up until now, but you have completed the adventure Hollow's Last Hope!
Thanks for bearing with me and sorry it us, um, slightly over 6mo to complete it! I had a good time with it and I hope y'all did as well.

Yay! I even got to hit somebody using a mechanic that's about to be totally wiped clean when Secrets of Magic releases next month!

Thanks for running us through it CW! It was a nice little dip into Pathfinder 2E, even if we did have some stops and starts along the way.
I'm curious - if I hadn't randomly guessed to look for herbs in the witch's hut, where were we going to have to go to find the final herb? I feel like if we hadn't grabbed it then, we would have just been wandering aimlessly around the banks of the river for a while.
Also, the playtest gunslinger gets a strong "Eh" from me. Despite going for the switch-hitter specialization, it felt like just hitting with the warhammer was the correct choice 9/10 times. A bit of a bummer. That said, I'm excited to see what they ended up changing for the final version of the class in Guns & Gears. Hope the guns end up packing more of a kick!

@Grattfaulk: yup, the adventure is concluded. Please feel free to play him in other games! Normally I would call for a level-up but since I don't have the bandwidth to run another game right now we'll put a pin in that for the moment.
@Bac: If you hadn't gotten the it from the hut, finding the rat's tail just required being near the river and a successful Nature check--and an optional badger encounter! I also found the pistol to be a little unsatisfying; 1d4 damage seems pitiful for what a pistol should do, even if it does get crit bonuses. It didn't quite seem to land the feeling it was going for. Hopefully the Guns & Gears book (which comes out the day before my birthday and I have already preordered) resolves that quirk.
Again, it was a pleasure to run the game for you and thanks for your patience! If/when I have more time to run PBP games in the future you're all at the top of my list of people to invite.

Fingers have been crossed!
Anyway, thanks all for the game! See you around at other tables!
