Of course this wasn't going to go easy...it never does... Valeros' shoulders sink in exasperation as he realizes he likely has to fight. He steps a pace away from the scorpion beside him and chances putting a blade on the altar, hoping the action appeases the spirit.

Ichio notices the appearance of the strange beings and with his wakis prepared he rushes against the one closest to him and with a feint he wins their side and sinks them fiercely
Because they have not acted yet, the earthly arachnids don't get AoO's yet.
Before he can be attacked, Valeros places another Klar blade in place even as one of the creatures bears down on him to stop him.
Diazepane lurches into the air before his opponent can attack him and does his best imitation of a B-52 (and I realize I could have called this encounter "Rock Lobster" as I was writing that but I mean the OTHER kind of B-52.) Somehow, he is able to get the splash from the bomb to go over Shardra to land on the creature behind her. But neither of them seem to notice, let alone mind the frost that appears on their shells.
Meanwhile, Ichio lays into the one closes to him with his blades, though only one finds its way through the creature's stony exterior and even it is clearly slowed.

Mylvwara recognizes these as exceptionally large crysmals - scorpion like creatures from deep within the plane of earth that eat crystals and gems to reproduce.
They have magical abilities to disrupt their opponents, resistance to electricity and physical attacks except for blunt weapons and are immune to both heat and cold (good luck Diazepane.)
"These are crysmals, from the plane of earth. But these are very large specimens." Mylvwara looks to Diazepane, "No fire or ice, they won't feel it. And lightning will struggle to get through."
Then she looks to her fighting allies, "Concentrate on smashing and bashing: their hides will turn aside slashes and spikes."

I was using 'shift' before because I had misread dimensional steps...
Cornered and not happy about it, Mylvwara uses her dimensional steps ability to travel back to the podium where the tree grappled her before.
Finding himself between the two scorpions, he twirls his blade before the voice of Mylwara echos through the chamber. Looking at the sharp edge he tosses it aside, smiling- exposing his sharp teeth and gleaming claws, before leaping at the white creature.

Diazepane frowns.
Dammit, I was going to pick up Force Bombs next level.
Though clearly resistant to damage, the rock scorpions prove relatively easy to hit and all three of Kal'ryon's attacks find their marks. As Mylvwara warned, it is not so much the points of his claws and teeth that really find a purchase but the sheer force behind them that does the damage.
In fact, striking at their weakness, the Ganzi causes the crysmal to shatter completely.
That leaves him and Mylvwara unmolested as the rock scorpions retaliate.
Most of he remaining creatures scurry up to and largely surround the other Pathfinders and reach out with their claws. It is not to snap and cut, though but only to touch.

Diazepane drinks an extract of shield, and then flies to flank with Ichio. He draws his morningstar while he lands.
As the shards of the crystalline creature succumb to his bite, Kal quickly turns and spits out the glass on the ground- saliva mixed with blood.
They will pay, if they mess up these teeth!
He moves back across the floor, staying out of reach of the stinging tails before sidling up next to Shardra. He lunges with his fangs and bites at the light blue creature.
Mylvwara casts a spell, straining to get it out.

It smashes the one Ichio already injured, sending crystalline shards scattering across the green market as it shatters into a million pieces.

Shardra ducks under the lashing attacks of the elemental horrors, to add her efforts to the party's ritual atop the altar.
It comes close to missing but then delivers an impressive blow at the last moment.
Meanwhile Ichio slashes and shatters another of the creatures. Blue
The remaining Crysmals press their attack with violet (and violent) one scurrying under Diazepane to get to Ichio. More disturbingly, there is a shimmer in the air in front of the red one and as it scurries into it, it disappears only to reappear behind Mylvwara an instant later.
Their territorial anger gets the better of them and their attacks are largely woefully inaccurate with only the follow up from the one attacking Shardra getting close. It would actually have connected had she not been taking additional care to avoid getting hit.

Both of Ichio's blows are well struck. Were it not for the resistance the creature's body provides it, the first would have destroyed it. As things stand, the second thrust is more than enough to leave the creature motionless.
The cyan one goes after Shardra while she's distracted with placing a blade then goes after Kal'Ryon.

As Valeros places the 7th and final blade, the crysmal tries, and fails to attack him, again and the Pathfinders all begin to flicker, their vision seeing both the actual Green Market and a washed out, hazy version of the Green Market. And they slowly feel their connection to the world fading.

Diazepane moves to flank with Kal'Ryon and swings Ye Olde Morningstar!
The Crysmal only THINKS it didn't hit Kal'Ryon, but Kal'Ryon knows the truth. Fortunately, for the Ganzi, there are no further repercussions from the sting beyond the damage.
Mylvwara's Earth Elemental hammers it's opponent into the ground with it's first blow then she blasts the cyan colored one out of existence with every magic user's favorite spell. That leaves Diazepane nothing to do but scatter the shattered pieces with the swing of his morning star even as it is falling apart.
Only the orange crysmal remains and Ichio moves into optimal position and stabs it but does not kill it.

Moved Diazepane, although I'm guessing 90% of the value of Diazepane's morningstar is in giving someone else flanking. The first hit goes to Orange (no full attack).
Fresh off of his new scar, the Ganzi smiles at the remaining scorpion- and charges across the strange new market teeth first. A yell escapes his mouth as the dashing motes of chaos continue to surround him.
