Grael Kraghelm |

Just a heads up, this week will be hit or miss for me as we're finally getting to move stuff into our new house starting today, though the BIG move will be on Monday when we move the furniture. I THINK I'll still be posting most days, but things happen, so...
Bare minimum, I'll check in with my phone, but just in case I wanted you guys to know.

Grael Kraghelm |

@Grael: I believe you took 11 damage and healed 6, so you'd be 5 HP below max, no?
Absolutely true. Where do you want me to be updating and posting this, which I'm more than happy to do? I had thought you were keeping track. Apologies. :D

GM Anthorg - RotR |

Yeah, I only keep track of the NPCs. You can update the sheet summary on your alias. So where it says 12/12, you can update it to 7/12, for example.
Buuuuuuut, if you would rather I keep track of your HP, I can change the whole system I use and instead of informing how much damage you took, I tell you how hurt you look/feel. Your (group) call.

GM Anthorg - RotR |

@Mr. Biggs: If you can make an argument to remove the ability damage, I'll hear it. I can understand why it's there, I believe it's there to prevent alchemists from using it "on cooldown" and only using when it really matters. Otherwise it's just a STR dump for an int bonus which may cause imbalance.
But if you have an argument otherwise, I'd like to hear (read?) it.

Mr. Biggs Sparklefoot |

I mean, I suppose. OTOH what is to keep an alchemist from using a normal mutagen on cooldown for the free STR boost without worrying much about the Int loss? Example- vivisectionist loses bombs so doesn't care about the temporary penalty to Int. As it doesn't effect their daily extracts. There really isn't a downside for them to not just walk around with it up save when they prepare extracts.
I can't "abuse on cooldown" anyway, as it only lasts 10 mins/level atm. And I don't really plan on doing that anyway once I could. Besides, a +2/+3 to damage isn't really anything to worry over I think. Though I suppose it would add to the splash damage and does increase the DC of the bombs.
If you wouldn't want to remove it, (and I'm not sure I'll be sticking with it over the mutagen either way, though I am considering the Master Chemyst PrC) How about its a one time penalty? That way at least if I use it twice in one day I'm not smacked with 4 Str damage?(and/or even further beyond?)

Gareth, Warpriest of Desna |

Just a heads up, my next few days are going to be rather busy(even before Christmas) as we're getting an RV tomorrow in order facilitate my brother(and others) going into quarantine so he can then celebrate a late Christmas with us.
I will get an in game post up later today, but after that, unsure when I will be able to post again.

Fiora Zantus |

For ease of play and speed of posting, would it perhaps be a good idea to make a discord server where we could post a message whenever someone posted or is up? I personally really like it as a convenience feature, and it seems to cut the waiting time a lot speeding up play.

Gareth, Warpriest of Desna |

Hey, sorry, I meant to post the other day, but forgot.
I was spending the weekend with my brother as we had thought he was going home yesterday or today.
And then his roommate was exposed to Covid, and is getting tested today. So, my bro is staying till at least mid week.
I'll post tonight, as we have some stuff to do around the house.

If anyone here still has login issues, they can be resolved if you manually go to your cookies and remove the paizo ones. Options which clear temporary itnernet files or all cookies do not appear to work.
If you use Chrome, it's in Settings > Cookies and other site data > See all cookies and site data. Then pick paizo and manually delete it.

Fiora Zantus |

Is everyone all right now with the login issue?
Secondly, may I request calling the combat if there's only one goblin left for the sake of progressing the story? Everyone seems to be at full hp and the chances of it living through the next round and inflicting significant damage seem very low.

Gareth, Warpriest of Desna |

As she approaches Gareth, she notices the gloomy looking man having a plate of ham and cheese with bread and tomatoes. There is a cup of hot milk with him as well.
I've apparently been portraying Gareth wrong if the GM thinks he's gloomy looking, as in my mind, he's anything but...

Hey everyone, wanted to drop a note here, my newborn son was finally released from the hospital after a 20 week admission. He's doing well and settling in with us, which means my posting time has gone down quite a lot. I might not be as frequent as usual, my apologies :)

Mr. Biggs Sparklefoot |

tons. some much more efficient than others. As it stands, one of the strongest gestalts I've tested has been a unchained monk (scaled fist)+sorcerer into dragon disciple. As you can full attack with flurry of blows, then get your claw and bite attacks.

I think I drew one of those up once. Some fun synergy there.

Mr. Biggs Sparklefoot |

aye. If you really wanna go for broke be LG, take a 3 or 5 level dip into paladin (on either side, depends on if you want to focus more on martial or spellcasting, I'd recommend the monk side) for dummy saves and smite.

Aleksander Albus |

Paladin/Draconic Bloodrager-> Dragon Disciple is a favorite of mine. At high level you're a flying raging smiting ball of teeth and claws and scales. In Heavy Armor. It's beautiful. YOU DARE DEFY BLASPHEME APSU!?

Hey everyone, I wanted to ask about everyone's investment in this game. It feels overall as if the posting rate is really low, and while I want to see what happens in the story, I don't want to feel like I'm (almost) the only one pushing it forward. What are other people's thoughts? Personally, as it stands, I'm leaning towards withdrawing from the campaign in favor of spending more time on more active ones.

Gareth, Warpriest of Desna |

I'm fully invested, but there was nothing I could do really against the skeleton, so I kinda sat that scene out.
Also had a fairly busy last few days, as we are having people come tomorrow to redo our roof(or at least part of it).
Finally, my IRL GM/ST just began several games that I'm playing in, so part of my focus has been working on those characters. However, two of them are finished, and the 3rd should be done(once I know creation rules) asap.
*******
All that said, while I would be understandably bummed if people dropped this game, you must do what's best for ya'll.

This campaign had the misfortune to start right before I started a new job that's eating a lot of my time, and for the last month I've been even busier. I don't mind continuing, but I can't fault your frustration either. I'm probably spread a bit thin right now.
