Seamus misses with his first swing, but it just sets up the next which lands a telling blow - though unlike their weaker counterparts, this golem takes the blow and keeps on fighting! Kizzy backs up Seamus even as she gives the whole troupe a boost. Izomandakus plasters another goblin with his staff, now covered with ichor and brains from two of the feisty foes. Meg delays slightly to move into position and protect Pachemu! Worrying about the party’s pet/ally, she can’t quite focus on the green beast before her and misses, even with Kizzy’s aid. Kast misses badly, almost tagging the pig he hopes to preserve.
While you can still hear the dog-rats bark-hissing to the north somewhere, no new threats descend upon you. The goblins on the eastern flank celebrate their win against the war-pig! Disorganized in their victory, they spread out their attacks in confusion.

Seamus lands another blow on the hearty goblin, and he refuses to fall, though he’s bleeding freely from his injuries. Kizzy goes for the hook, and nearly gets him, but the bannister keeps her from pulling him off his feet. Izomandakus brings his staff down on the green goblin, just as its thinking of surrendering. Meg slices the pink one in half, and Kast drops his as well - leaving no goblins alive to take you to their leader… for now.
The blue and red commandos press their attacks on Seamus, trying to bring him down and open up the battle for them.

Seamus takes two quick strikes, though he can’t quite land a blow against the commando’s, before he tags out a moment to catch his breath. Kizzy slams into red, though she doesn’t quite confirm the blow. Izomandakus closes the main doors, but as he’s reaching for a dagger, he spies a heavy bar of wood - fitted to the task - and slides it in place holding the doors tightly. Meg moves up and plasters another, sending goblin brains spraying onto the poor little guy behind him. Kast moves swiftly to help Meg with the newcomers and chops down the remaining goblin, still in shock with his friends brain on his face.
Meanwhile the goblin commandoes press their attacks, still aiming at Seamus. Blue 5’ steps down the stairs to keep Seamus in range, though Seamus has full cover from him now.

Realizing both Goblins were still try to hit him, he ducks around the corner even more, Then instead of trying to hit with both long knives, he reaches around the corner with his right hand and tries to stick the little bugger.
Feeling the knife hit something, Seamus, having realizing Pachemu was in the room with him smiles at the pig, "I think I got the little bugger, Pachemu."

The boy dashes forward, clearly not as impeded on his steps as Kast. Then he waits to see what does result from Seamus and Kizzy attacks, trying to daze whatever goblin commando survives, blue first priority, by taking a pinch of wool from his pouch and throwing it at the goblin "Halt there my little greeny"

Seamus emerges as the victor, as he drops red before he had the chance to do the same. Kizzy can 5’ step, and so she does so (no stairs on the first square, it’s a landing) cutting the commando across his chest. Izomandakus reaches out his power to try and hinder the remaining commando, but the goblin is made of sterner stuff - angered as he is by his allies fall. Meg moves back, but cannot quite heal Pachemu, leaving the healing up to Kast, who rights the pig!

The remaining commando still yearns for Seamus, but recognizes the difficulty in getting to him. He 5’ steps back onto the platform and swings at Kizzy instead, hoping to get to his fallen ally before he bleeds out!

Feeling a tap on his shoulder, Seamus turns in time to see Meg with a wand and Kast healing the injured pig. Blinking his eyes a couple time, he closes his gapping mouth as he Sheaths his two long knives. He wipes his blood off of his hands onto his borrowed cloak drawing his bow as he steps back into the room. Smiling when he sees Kizzy standing over the dead goblin.

Seamus, heavily wounded but victorious over his foe, switches weapons and prepares to battle the next commando! Kizzy sweeps the goblin to the ground, much to his dismay! Izomandakus follows with a blow of his own thanks to the poor goblins prone state. To make matters worse for the little man, Pachemu oinks at him, and he very nearly soils himself (demoralize success!). Meg slides up to Seamus and helps remove some of his injury. Kast readies for the goblin and goblindog hoard just outside the gates. The attack never develops however.
The blue commando, frustrated on all fronts, digs deep to some inner faded glory - for after all, he’s one of the best of his people. Probably looked up to by the clan, many of whom lie bleeding in the next room sure, but still. He girds his loins, spits down the stairs at Kizzy, and stands, provoking from Izomandakus (Kizzy is blocked from the attack by cover).
He drops his longweapon, and instead draws a short sword. Licking his lips, he readies to engage!
The goblins outside the gate seem to be in a quandary. They don’t want to damage their home, but they want in. They pound on the door some more, and argue among themselves as to the best course of action. One of them even starts back to the west to climb the lower tower there (still 20’ up!).

Nodding to Meg, Seamus smiles, "Thanks Meg, that time worked." He moved his arm a little and draws an arrow. Having planned on shooting the goblin while it was a few feet away from Kizzy, he reconsiders now that Izomandakus had rushed near. 'Well at least Isomandakus hit the little bugger. I just hope I don't him my friend instead of the goblin.' Waiting a second while the goblin stands, Seamus nocks his arrow, drawing it back and firing at the wounded goblin. Releasing the arrow, it bounces off the wall then ricochets off he stairs towards the next floor. Turning to Meg, he gives a shrug. "Maybe I should just wait."

Unaltered by Seamus' arrow bouncing in the banister next to him, the boy firmly takes the staff up with both hands, then presses down, a magic field momentarily materializing around his skinny arms.

Seamus pulls back his bow, and the arrow does indeed go wild. Clearly a little more practice is needed. Kizzy summons another lion’s call and prepares to defend her allies. Izomandakus misses with his AoO, but brings his stick down mightily on the poor goblin commando - cracking his skull and felling him like a tree. Meg fails again to activate the elusive wand. Kast maintains his guard watching a door he’s beginning to think the goblins will not be able to open in any reasonable way.
Perhaps with time, they might get it open, but they’re more likely to climb in through the towers - if they can manage the climb without killing themselves which seems equally unlikely. For now they continue to keen at the doors, begging to be allowed back in. They seem confused as to what’s going on.
You still hear a few goblin-dog barks to the north, though they too quiet down as the sounds of battle die.
We’ll stay in rounds for the moment, but what are your plans?

smiling at Meg, Seamus shrugs, "Well at least your trying."Turning back to the fight he sees his friend whack the goblin.
"Well struck Izomandakus!" Watching the goblin fall and hearing the animals outside silence. Seamus turns to Kast. "Kast, you were in the militia, do you think the goblins have something up in the tower to defend against invaders?" Looking to the others. "We could dump in on whoever's outside."

Izomandakus quickly registers the goblin commandos, then incorporates cleaning his staff "That can certainly work Seamus"
"The poor fools did not see us coming, they are probably confused on what is going on. Perhaps we can exploit it to our advantage, trying to tell them about some mission to keep them away while we end our investigations here" the boy kneels in front of Pachemu examining her wounds and tapping at the pig's head when she looks up.

Kast Phaer |

Kast will keeps his eyes on the front door, but will be happy to hamberder up anyone who is willing to keep guard over it while he wands away.
”Not sure what to do about them climbing up the walls. I’d be more willing to open those doors and dealing with the foes outside than going off someplace else. I don’t want them at my back, ‘Mus,” Kast answers Seamus.
Kast is still at the front doors, happy to heal while the party talks.

Qetsiyah checks the goblin commandos for anything useful before joining Meg in opening doors and checking the rooms they had access to.

Seamus chats a bit and considers dropping things on the goblins from outside. Kizzy does a little fast looting, finding little on their broken bodies, though she does identify their horsechoppers as masterwork (can’t find much in 6 seconds, they probably have more). Izomandakus worries for Pachemu and suggests Seamus’ plan. Meg tries the door and finds it nailed shut. The work is poorly done, and recent from the looks of it, but the door is stuck firmly (strength check to open, or some minutes prying nails loose). Kast thinks to open the main doors, but continues to stand at attention for now.
The goblins continue to scratch at the door a little, though they’re quieter now, and you’re really not sure what they’re doing out there…
We’ll stay in rounds for the moment, but what are your plans?

Kast continues to watch the front doors stepping closer to the infinite battle pig and drawing the wand of CLW, now that Izomonkeyakus is watching the doors.

"Wonder why they nailed this door shut. Should I try and force it?" Kizzy asked Meg. Provided she didn't object she did her best to pry it open, using one of the horsechoppers for leverage if necessary.

Seamus starts up the tower, walking around the winding stairway as he switches weapons. Though only a quarter of the way up, he can see an open trap door with a ladder, of sorts, ahead of him. Kizzy heaves at the nailed shut door, but it’s been nailed shut by someone who was trying to make a point. It’s really shut. Izomandakus tries subterfuge on the goblins, knowing of course that they’re not the most wise of creatures. Meg strides up confidently and plants one right at the weakest point of the door! She begins to smile, as surely such a well placed kick - the balance! the force!- will tear the door asunder. Alas, the door stands. Weakened perhaps, but it stands none the less. It seems it will take a concentrated effort to kick it in, or you’ll have to spend the time (minutes) to pry loose the nails). Kast heals Pachemu to within a few small scratches of complete health.
It was a double move (30’) down to get to the bottom, so it’s four moves to get to the top. Two moves of stairs, then two moves climbing the ladder.
In goblin, you hear from the other side of the wall, ”Oh yes sir. Yes sir!” ”Shit, oh shit man. We’d better do as he says.” ”Hurry, herd the dogs over the bridge, we’ll hunt the thistle!” ”Er, I dunno guys, that doesn’t sound like anyone I know. Why don’t they open the doors?”
There’s a brief hesitation, before a chorus of goblins are heard berating their skeptic. Soon, it comes to blows, and the entire squad is fighting on the other side of the wall, goblindogs bark-hissing at their masters as they try to tear each other apart.

"There you go, Pachemu. You're almost perfect again."
As no one else seems to need healing, Kast returns the curification wand to his belt, as he continues to guard the front door. He waits to be sure the gang of goblins and dogs have moved off before abandoning this area.

'Blast only a quarter of the way up and then a ladder.' Shaking his head, Seamus turns and returns to the room where the others are. "It's a long way up, you all would probably have all the goblins dead by the time I got up and back." Seeing the 'dog slicer' in Kizzy's hand, "No luck with the nailed door?" He guestures to the double doors in the back room. "Shall we try the double doors?" Gesturing toward Kast he tells the ladies, "Give me a moment."
Tapping Kast, "Sorry, I saw you putting the wand away when I walked in, Would you mind whipping it back out, I'm still a little under par."
Kast I know I would normally roll these, but were still in combat rounds. If we drop out of combat I will roll them, but if were still in combat rounds after these posts, would you mind, since in theory it would be your action?

"Personally, Sea, I would rather just open as many doors as possible ASAP, just to make sure we are not going to get surprised. They already all know we are here, after all. You take that one and I will get another one."
Meg clicks her tongue, then backs away from the door. She heads back into the main room, pausing for a moment as she hears the crowd of goblins engaging with...themselves...outside. "I think that problem is taking care of itself, I'd say." She continues walking and tries one of the other side doors.

Healthy again, Pachemu jumps happy soothing Kast with her head in appreciation for the nearly perfect cares "Oink oink!"
Izomandakus nods at Meg "It seems it did not go bad... even if they come back to try open the doors, the bar will hold them for a while"
The boy moves north and helps Meg opening doors. Pachemu follows close.

Qetsiyah goes back to the room with the stairs and checks the northern doors, opening them if they will open.

Seamus drops back down from above and moves back with the group. Kizzy finds a back way, from the looks of it little used, into the same chamber Meg opens. Izomandakus moves to support Meg who goes to a fresh door and gives it a try, finding more goblindogs on the other side! Kast repositions himself and readies the Iron Quill though the goblin menace from outside seems to have wandered off - at least for the moment.
The goblin brawl outside quiets quickly - it was three against one after all. They move off, with their goblindogs, over the bridge from the sound of it. It’s hard to say what they’ll do with what they find there, but for now, this flank appears to be safe.
Meanwhile, the goblindogs that Meg has discovered, discover her right back, and rush to attack! However, as they’re forced into a narrow doorway, and the party is well equipped with pole arms and bows, they are easily overmatched and slaughtered. (Call it one charge on the wand for any minor scrapes Meg may suffer holding the doorway.)
We are out of initiative, as there are no immediate threats.
