Kast doesn't have much to say about the Marigold stuff. He's never spoken of her aloud, but it might be clear that she's very interesting to any young man.
Sh*t! Sh*t! Sh*t! You Didn't! I'm so sorry! I had thought you had and when I just remembered the time you called her Molly and searched for that. Then went from there
I find it frustrating when people act or comment on what I Italic'd as thinking, and I did it to you...
So any chance through the years Seamus noticed Kast showing an interest in her or anything like that? If not I will drop the issue with her and focus on the rings.
Did Kast have any answer for;
On the way to the dragon
Surprised by Kast's emotional outburst, Seamus nods and listens, trying not to chuckle at the repetition of the word. Other than that not sure how to respond. Kast was right, there are jerks all over; and most of them want to have some sort of authority so they could lord it over people. Seamus had seen his fill of jerks: the people who worked with his step father, many of the clients at the kitten, even some of the customers at Cracktooths. That didn't give them the right to be that way.Seamus shrugs. "Maybe so. And your right a lot of organizations have jerks in charge. But the city watch shouldn't be that type of organization." He looks over his shoulder, back the way the came, then unintentionally toward Kast's limping leg. "I bet if some weren't such jerks to you, you wouldn't be in such a hurry to go to 'Last Wall' just to prove yourself."

You gain all of your new abilities right away, including new spells and the like. However, you do not regain what you’ve already used/cast for today. It’s not a rest exactly, just a gain.
Each level I’ll be examining your characters for sins and virtues that you might exemplify for that level. Just things that struck me as, well, perhaps a little heroic, or selfish as the case may be. There is no specific gain or loss for this tracking until very late in the game, and then it’s more a question of how you’re treated. So having a lot of any particular virtue or sin shouldn’t concern you, or even give you hope.
- Izomandakus swims for the giant helmet, looking forward to the loot, and fending off the crab with his dagger! (greed)
- Kasts surprisingly deep well of knowledge about all things Thasselonian and other ancient history information as well as his desire to produce perfect paperwork reports (zeal).
- Kizzy for not wanting to open the chamber within which Malfeshnekor lay - likely for good reason (sloth).
- For Valena it was a toss up - offering to find a woman for Kast to kiss in society (kindness) or doing her own kissing of Sapphira Seton (love). In the end, I think love wins out!
- To Seamus for producing Thasselonian gem encrusted rings for the party (love). Special mention also to Seamus for getting in the Sheriff’s face about the arrangement, but the rings were a bigger deal.
If you feel I’ve missed something - not captured some event more significant than the one I have - please let me know. This is pretty subjective, and I’m not always grabbing something obvious, but it’ll help me keep on the lookout for things I might have otherwise missed.

- Izomandakus assumes greater strength than they have as he kills an orderly (wrath).

Hey, the bashing quality makes the shield do damage as if it were two size categories larger. But reading over it, I just realized that it only applies to light or heavy shields. I think I misinterpreted that as a 'light' weapon (as opposed to a one-handed weapon), not the specific 'light shield'. Will likely change it to ramming instead.

According to the treasure sheet, and if no one objects, Kast will be taking the belt of giant str +2 and a ring +1.
He does not take an amulet of NA +1 as it would interfere with the delightful flower-festooned mummified hand around his neck that is not creepy or weird at all.

            Level Up!
I do believe you should now be level 10. And yes, this was a short level. I let the last level slide a bit so this one seems even shorter.
Please note the things that have changed or been added, and put it all in a spoiler so those who don't want to know your build can remain in the dark. For those of you with character sheets off site, please send me your updated sheets for reference if applicable. If it's the 'same' sheet, no need, just let me know when you're done updating it so I can give a once over. Thanks.
Greed to Izomandakus for refusing to join the Rangers because they weren't wealthy enough to afford him.
Wrath to Kast for what will become known as 'the conversation'.
Zeal to Hasslo for never hesitating when facing an enemy and often drawing AoOs for others.
Wrath to Valena for what will become known as 'the conversation'. Also, generosity for losing a part of the self to power the dam.
Generosity to Seamus for being the first to join the Rangers of Fort Rannik.
You should all get a little something for standing up to the Black Maga as well in my book. +1 hero point to each of you. I should have given it out at the time, so feel free to think of it like a temporary hero point. You don’t apply it to the max of 3, and it’s the first to be used.
If you feel I’ve missed something - not captured some event more significant than the one I have - please let me know. This is pretty subjective, and I’m not always grabbing something obvious, but it’ll help me keep on the lookout for things I might have otherwise missed.
