Went ahead and posted Zahur's social actions for 3/4 rounds. Based on the description of "Influence and Area", it appears the DC of the check is 11 for the kitchen, so with my rolls it appears I'll need 2 rounds to finish influencing it completely.

Then will try to complete my mission on the 3rd round. Since I'm not sure if those rolls will be enough, I had not posted 4th round, since perhaps I could try again.

My plan, if both the kitchen and the mission are finished is to move to the Senate Floor to influence Kalbio and then perhaps Baron Nicolaus Okerra. That being said, I'm not sure Zahur will be really good at this since his social skills are not great.

You can only try... a roll is better than nothing especially if your mission is complete!

I just hope someone lets me know about something they learned.

A lot of the threshold rewards for influencing the various rooms help to make the missions easier, as you may have noticed. But I think Arthur's probably gotten the best circumstances for his mission already. Shiyara might want to influence the courtyard area before proceeding with her own mission(s) and Torin might want to target the Gallery.

Welp... there's the other end of the spectrum.

Shiyara and Arthur may now use Bluff, Knowledge (local, nobility, or religion), Perform (oratory), Profession (clerk or barrister), or Sense Motive to influence any room in the Senate Building in place of those skills listed for the area.

Would this apply in the courtyard as well or is it specifically within the buildjng?

Yes, sorry. It should have said any area, since a courtyard is not a "room" per se.

Glad to see we still have everyone! I am down a device just at the moment, so my own posting will be more limited for a while.

Torin, that check was indeed a failure, but I don't see anything that says you can't try it again. Even on the Theft mission, a failure only means that round's actions go to waste, not being caught or missing out on being able to complete the mission later.

I still need Arthur's actions for these 4 rounds, Shiyara has 3 rounds remaining as does Thonis. Torin's rounds will likely be spent on his mission. Ismene is prepared to assist Arthur and I will bot Thonis to go on her tour for her 3rd and 4th rounds if she doesn't post her own actions.

Zahur has completed his mission and spent his 4 rounds. He may interact with Kalbio freely throughout the 4th round until we move on to the next event.

For sure. My concern was that it was a CMB roll not a skill check, so it falls under the same natural 1 rules as an attack roll. Either way I am more than happy to try and redeem Torin with another roll.

No worries Thonis, we all have busy lives. My other games have literally been exploding as I am trying to just keep up! To be honest, I was waiting for Thonis or Torin to give me the official bonus. I know Torin kinda hand waved it but it all works out now!

You know looking at all the angles since there is 20 guards in the area! I know I could play it off as a joke once maybe twice but that is only essential if my grand theft plan fails!

Really didn't want Torin taking that away from Thonis. It's more her thing. He would defer to her as well being the more suave of the two.

I believe there are more... each round is about 15 minutes and it strikes me this event will be measured in hours since it is such a big thing.

@Shiyara, yes. The next event is 4 of 10 and most of the events are followed by 2-4 social rounds. Don't panic, there is time.

@Zahur, yes, technically. Though Kalbio is so friendly and easy going that he responds to genuine interest in himself or his trade so that he is automatically influenced through RP without any rolls needed. ^_^

Sorry, I missed this question! There is one mission that is open to whomever wants to attempt it: Discovering which way two senators will vote; Duke Leonard Centimus and Countess Abrielle Pace. The Discovery mission then potentially ties into Ismene's mission, which she still needs to achieve.

My apologies for the delays, I've ended up a lot more busy over the past week than I really expected. I'll try to get a post up of my last rounds during the day today.

Yes, it seemed like a good time for Thonis' curse to have some influence there. I think, as Oracle curses go, it's a fun one for a GM to play on.

It never occurred to me that what Thonis claimed about her sword would turn out to be accurate. I'd put it in the post to reinforce her persona as comically snotty/snooty and egotistical. I figure she needs to be a bit comical because otherwise Thonis would kind of awful and hard to like, which isn't the case at all.

I was a little stumped on how to respond to it being true until I decided "why not? Just roll with it". So now she'll continue to say conceited, batty things here and there. But sometimes those batty things can turn out to be right on target, so everyone should buy into all of them all the time!

Regarding the NPCs, I'd like to know the weakness of Maxillar Pythareus to help Thonis and a rumor about Baron Okerra, since Zahur intends to influence him.

Are y'all up for playing "cast my character"? When the movie of this adventure path (inevitably) gets made, who should be cast in the part of your character?

I didn't have to look very hard to find Elizabeth Debicki for Shiyara. She's been cast as Princess Diana, she can definitely pull off grace and elegance. Man from UNCLE showed she can pull off cunning and plotting. And she's super tall.

I had originally been thinking that Shiyara would have something along the lines of a soft French accent, but now I've got the idea of elves with Australian accents in my head and its hilarious.

I'd go with Omar Sy I believe. His performance on Intouchables was awesome.

Thonis wasn't easy. I needed curly hair, fairly short, a complexion on the duskier rather than fair side, and green eyes if possible.

It turns out Camren Bicondova is pretty much ideal. At 5'2 she's only one inch taller than Thonis is supposed to be, and she even has green eyes.

She's best known as Selina Kyle (Catwoman) in Gotham.

I actually have a real life friend who sounds like Thonis. Naturally curly brown hair that takes on golden highlights in the sun. Big green eyes and very light olive undertones to her complexion. Light smattering of freckles over her nose and cheeks, very curvy but small in the waist. And she's 4'11"! XD

I loved Camren Bicondova in Gotham! She may be my favorite version of Selina Kyle. ^_^

Can I go back in time to make my movie? There are probably plenty of perfect examples for Ismene, but the only one that comes to mind is Shohreh Aghdashloo. She is a powerhouse of talent and beautiful at any age, but I would probably need her younger to play Ismene. But she does have the night dark hair and nearly black eyes. I really love her smile too.

Ha! Your friend sounds perfect for the role, and as a new unknown she'd probably cost less too. I've never seen Gothem. It's a show I always sorta thought about but never got around to. Now with 5 seasons out it seems like a big project to start. I don't have tons of time for TV.

I don't see any reason not to go back in time, but how about Turkish actor Beren Saat ? Her hair/eye color is probably a little light, but her smile seems similar to me. Shohreh Aghdashloo was fabulous in The Expanse!
