Kit purchases a Four-leaf Clover from the first chronicle leaving her with 200.9 GP

I have started preparing the scenario and slides and hope to have the first game post up soonish. The link for slides should be at the top of each campaign page as well as in my tag line.

I kept the SOP and Marching Order slide, copying it across, but feel free to update it or make any appropriate alterations.

For those who had already completed the intake form, you should be able to edit if there are changes needed for things like starting values. An email confirmation with the link to edit should have been sent to you. You can also just resubmit and I'll delete the earlier submission.

I plan to prepare the chronicles for this game shortly after we start so that any notes during the game can be made as we go and only the Day Job entries need to be added before initialling and signing.

Also, you should all be made aware that I am in the process of moving back to Australia to look after my mother and brother. Current plans have us (my adult son and I) departing at the end of October. I am hoping that preparations will in no way affect my PbP presence. I am relying on this game to provide a little sanity to what is probably going to be a somewhat chaotic period in my life.

If it ends up being anything like mine, the last day you'll just end up throwing things in garbage bags that you're going to take with you and realize there's a whole closet you forgot existed (but can't stand to leave the contents behind.)

Kahwen bought the Lesser Talisman of Breath of Life...because he'll need it someday.

The previous game is now reported (almost forgot!) and marked inactive.
Expect a game post later today.

Inghinn is also going to buy the Lesser Talisman of Breath of Life because front-line fighting = Danger, Will Robinson!

Also, Inghinn is going to tear up that ribbon and certificate from the Lord Mayor. As a follower of Iomedae, she believes in honor rightfully gained, and Grobaras claiming he was the one who hired the team that got the job done doesn't sit right with her.

Kahwen will wear the ribbon proudly because he likes shiny things and it looks good and important on his jacket.

Matrialda also tears up her certificate, though the ribbon has the embroidery removed because it really is a lovely shade of blue that would work quite well repurposed onto one of her shawls to help hold it in place around her shoulders.

Kit will keep hers. Fake or not, it might come in useful.

I dropped a quick note to Faliana and Elado to let them know we are ready to start, just in case they missed the transition after waiting so long for me.

Once everyone is ready, I will continue.

Speaking of clearing conditions (in the Gameplay thread), did the spirit's de-aging effect on Inghinn wear off? I think you mentioned that it only lasted 24 hours, but just want to make sure I remembered that correctly.

Yes, all the monument and spirit effects have dissipated.

Do you all want to continue to wait for Faliana (I did send a PM) or should we start with the introduction and briefing at the manor and hope they catch up soon?

Sorry to keep you guys waiting. Had a long weekend where I ended up not getting on the boards here much at all. I'm only part way through leveling Faliana but I have very little to do today, so I should have her ready and in the game in just a bit!

I'm pretty sure it exists but I can never find it. Does anyone know the oil that can make a weapon ghost touch? Is there just a ghost touch spell I can't find?

Hrmm there's spirit bound blade, if that interests you. You can also get a scroll of it if you want as Faliana could cast it for you if you need.

If I am reading correctly, everyone so far has opted for the hybrid form.

Faliana - what is the name of the enchantment for your armour? I wish to make sure I document it correctly on your chronicle.

It was Spirit Bonded. But someone was an idiot and forgot to double check that it was a legal option (I don't know why I didn't, it such a basic thing)... and it isn't. Dang. I can't buy it. I would have missed that if I hadn't looked up that link.

So she'll just get the +1 armor... and upgrade her weapon to a +2. Should be the same price.

Just waiting on Inghinn to confirm what level of transformation she is accepting.

Faliana - you can let your attempt at Diplomacy stand if you wish but I am assuming that you probably want to try something different.

It was an attempt to Aid Kitoro's diplomacy. She might still try to do some diplomacy but she might also just attack. I'll take a moment to think about it, as I don't quite have time to decide on a course of action and formulate a post right now.

Faliana - Sorry, my brain skipped right over the word aid when I first read it.

Matrialda - I believe you will need to move up so you can see where you are casting as there is so much thick foliage in the way.

Not a problem - Matrialda didn’t use her move action last round, so she can move up before casting. Token moved on map.

Kitoro - thank you for the additional information. I do have the shaken condition noted on my master but try to keep the posted tracker less cluttered.

For instance (Fire-1d6-Reflex DC 15) is actually the notation for green being on fire. I note it on the tracker as something that is obvious, whereas most other things are implied by the narrative.

I did miss the extra rounds for each 5 over DC, so as I said, grateful for the information. Sorry, you did not quite make your four rounds but I did add some extra.
