The party winds up on the second attempt. Ferrun smashes through the door, leaving Heyou! holding an oil can. The scene on the other side leads to instant regret. Dried blood coats the floor and lower walls in this room.
Several animal carcasses hang from hooks in the wooden ceiling. A low table contains several tools for carving meat, and a large tub contains slabs of it. The room is thick with flies and occupied by two ready cultists and a creature most foul. The emaciated figure looks like a horned human skeleton smothered within a bone-tight hide of slimy leather.
The fiend jabs a barbed longspear at the first person it sees, Ferrun!
