Pazúr Sixclaw |

Reflex: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28 Success!
Pazúr manages to dodge between the triceratops' legs as it rumbles over him, avoiding the worst of the damage. He darts forward as if to trample the huge creature himself, then runs his blade between the massive beast's ribs! Just in case, he raises his shield to protect himself from whatever reaction he might have provoked in the dino.
Feint, Strike with Impaling Finisher, Raise Shield.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (8) + 15 = 23 Assuming that succeeds with it being Frightened, since a 24 succeeded last round.

Attack 2: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 192d8 + 5 ⇒ (8, 8) + 5 = 21

Dungeon Master S - 2e |

Sir Holton's opening swing harms the dinosaur a bit if the grunt is any indication. Not liking the corner, and being surrounded. The triceratops charges eastward, again trampling the catfolk. Ferrun and Pazúr take [dice=DMG]2d8+11 AND you're knocked down (I might have forgotten that last time.) You can make a Basic REF DC 28 v. damage, but you are prone no matter what.[/ooc]

Reflex: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28 Success!
”This is getting annoying,“ Pazúr grumbles as he dodges again, ending up flat on the ground this time. He springs to his feet, using the energy of his spring to tumble towards the dino and again drive his blade into the creature’s massive belly!

I forgot to actually APPLY the Frightened 1 numbers despite updating the tracker to include it. Will do my best to not forget that it's now flat-footed!
Heyou!'s bomb bounces off the dinosaur's horn..... and then splashes across its back!
Pazúr continues to put on a clinic of how to tumble around the field of battle, punctuating another routine with a solid thrust!

Sir Holton: Go
Chivivit: Go
Pazúr (52/80, Prone): Hit!

Chivivit Skivrix |

Chivivit twists dark magic into his beady eyes before staring into the eyes of the triceratops.
Evil eye, DC 22
After which, an ingenious plan springs to mind. He concentrates for a moment before summoning in what seems to be another triceratops, the great beast bellowing as it fades into existence!
Casting illusory creature!

Dungeon Master S - 2e |

Pazúr Sixclaw |

DM - just wanted to note that your tracker says I’m prone, I think it just didn’t get changed after the last time I stood up.
”Okay, time to put this big boy down before someone really gets hurt,“ Pazúr declares, seeing how badly mauled Ferrun was before his friends patched him up. He rolls through and around his companions, rolling and tumbling past the mighty feet of the ceratopsian! Once in position, he again strikes with deadly precision!
Move twice with Vexing Tumble (around dino), Strike with Impaling Finisher.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35 Crit! Doesn’t do a lot, since it’s already flat-footed due to flank.

Dungeon Master S - 2e |

Sir Holton helps Ferrun even more, though at the cost of a good swing of the hammer.
Pazúr expertly tumbles into position and delivers a wicked thrust. The dinosaur screams in pain, though its fury is as strong as ever. Unfortunately, Ferrun himself cannot capitalize on the advantage.

Dungeon Master S - 2e |

DMG: 2d8 + 11 ⇒ (4, 3) + 11 = 18 Basic REF DC down to 27 since it's Frightened. The dinosaur now sees the biggest threat yet, Cursebreaker and it looks ready to charge it!

Dungeon Master S - 2e |

Pazúr's show draws to a close as he can't connect, but the final bomb from Heyou! is enough to put the dinosaur down! For your victory, each of you earns ... actually, I don't know, the tracker is out of date is seems. I'll comb through tomorrow.

![]() |

When the dinosaur goes goes down, Heyou! looks at it, and his first question is ”You gonna eat that?”

Dungeon Master S - 2e |

Heyou! salivates as his mind wonders, does it taste like chicken? This is especially true as the burned sections of hide smell like it just may.
Wanted to comb through XP yesterday, but didn't get the chance. Will do today if someone doesn't beat me to it.

Dungeon Master S - 2e |

All caught up now on the tracker. For defeating the extra tough triceratops, each of you earns 120 XP.
Cursebreaker continues its walk, heedless of what's happening. You're stuck with an awful choice. All around you Kibwe is turning to chaos as the Slithering spreads. Do you suck it up and keep pace with Cursebreaker, not letting it out of your sights, or do you stop a moment to heal?

Ferrun Munkustrap |

"I admit, that I still feel the pain from that dinosaur, but if we need to save the town from this awful plight, we need the cursebreaker to do its job and we need to make sure that we can help it do just that."

![]() |

"Me got two elixirs, so drink up. Plus me can make two more, and battle medicine if folks not been patched up yet. Let's keep going!"

Dungeon Master S - 2e |

Go ahead and pass out and drink those two elixirs.
The party opts to stay with Cursebreaker, moving quickly. There are no humans on the street, and for a moment, you worry that they've all been infected.
Then you pass a tall wooden watchtower with a pair of scimitar-wielding orcs guarding the only door. From wide windows 30 feet up, a crowd of humans looks out over the city while wearing cloths over their noses and mouths and observing the growing chaos.
Ahead, not too far from here is the Archive of the Sun!
Just passing near the watchtower, a cry of “Infection!” rises up from inside. The mercenaries rush in to help the humans evacuate. As they file out, one wall of the wooden watchtower splits, spilling three oozes into the air 30 feet above the street. The oozes fall and strike the ground with a repulsive splat before attacking both the heroes and the exiting humans.
Will set up the scene when I get to work.

Dungeon Master S - 2e |

After numerous fights against flesh and blood, Pazúr is reminded that his style doesn't lend itself well to oozes and jellies. He finds that he could hit it with his eyes closed, BUT his strike splits the jelly in two! Now Sir Holton is pressed on two sides!
The jelly behind Pazúr slides into attack him with a pseudopod:
