Some questions about the wind weasels:

o Looks like there's 1 black and 2 white. Is it possible to change the outline of one of the whites, so we can describe who we're attacking?

o Grum asked about flanking. With them flying, does it look like flanking helps? Specifically, Grum rolled a 29 (+ possible flanking), can you tell us if that happened to crit?

o From your description, sounds like Grum's 2nd attack didn't do full damage to the wisp of air. But do Jeeves and Nina believe their attacks got through?

o For Jeeves EA, you said there was a success and a fail. Those happened to each be crits, right? So double-damage and no damage. Can you tell us which one (white or black) took the double-damage?

o Basically in order to strategize, we kinda need to know how effective our attacks are. I believe Black could be down 65hp: 20hp (Nina's sword) and 45hp (Grum's axe). Maybe more if Grum crit, maybe less if his 2nd attack didn't all go through. And maybe 26hp more (from Jeeves EA) unless the EA affected White.

I realize you may not want to answer all of these, but we'll take whatever info we can get!

I’ll tell you what you can surmise.

Flanking doesn’t appear to matter. Physical attacks seem to be doing less than expected damage and causing the creatures to slightly dissociate.

Jeeves’ attack went to the nearest wind weasel first, and then the one further away.

There are 1e spells (deathwatch) that can tell you some information you’re asking for Jeeves, but no 2e spells (and no GM answers).

These are unique elemental creatures. You are damaging them, but you’re not sure to what extent.

I can try to make the two white colours (light yellow and light pink, if you look closely) a bit different.

Two questions:

1)I didn't realize I needed to roll critical damage. In other games I've played it has just been doubled. I will do that for sure going forward.

2)Don't you have to subtract 4 for the weasels second attack? And if so, is it still a critical hit? Fingers crossed and eyes squeezed shut.

And just because I'm still pretty new to second addition I have a third question. Can you walk me through why a 27 versus AC 20 is a critical hit? Isn't it 10 over the AC or a natural 20 to score a critical?

There's some form of a gremlin affecting my posts, it would seem. I could've sworn that the numbers looked different when I first typed them up. The corrected numbers on my latest post makes it look like you escaped with only one tag, MugVug, and not a critical hit at that.

Regardless, I DID forget to subtract 4 from the creature's second attack. Good sharp eyes - please take a Hero Point for appropriately calling me out!

1) Answer to 1. Usually it is doubled. Some GM's do it differently In the CRB it says "The GM might allow you to roll the dice twice and double the modifiers, bonuses, and penalties instead of doubling the entire result, but this usually works best for single-target attacks or spells at low levels when you have a small number of damage dice to roll."

2) I noticed this as well.

Jeeves is using the Infernal Detonations boon. I'll include the complete info below in a Spoiler. Don't peek if you haven't played it yet.

Infernal Detonations:
From 1-11: Flames of Rebellion. Trigger: A creature within 30 feet of you targets you or an ally with an attack. Effect: The creature takes fire damage equal to 1d6 + your level (basic Reflex save).

Ah, yes. Thanks for reminding me.

Jeeves:
These air elementals have an ability called dissociation. It triggers immediately when they would take any physical combat damage such as bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing and provides DR 5 against all of those until the start of its next turn. During that time, it has weakness 5 to area and splash damage.

I've decided to reevaluate what I wanted to do with my downtime.

I think I am going to retrain a class feat. According to the Core Rule Book it will take a week to do so. I can notate it once I print it out, unless you want to do it.

Going this route will leave me with 5 days to earn income, which I will just use my roll from the recruitment tab.

Yes, Nina. On pg 386 of the CRB, Inspire Courage says "You and all allies in the area gain a +1 status bonus to attack rolls, damage rolls, and saves against fear effects."

No mention of it only applying to spells with attack rolls. Thus, it applies whenever allies roll damage. Would even apply to triggers like AoO and Retributive Strike abilities.

Can Nina use her Shield on force damage? Shield Block can only be applied to physical damage, but the Shield spell specifically allows Magic Missile, which is force.

Nina will be retraining instead of Earning Income, for a more offensive repertoire. First up is Magic Weapon -> Purify Food and Drink, because she's afraid of getting poisoned (7 days). Next will be Faerie Fire -> Sound Burst (1 of 8 days).

She may also be taking a voluntary alignment shift from NG to N (I need to make sure this doesn't affect her mechanically).

Yeah, it should be 6.4 gp per Bundle for level 4s, but different levels will earn different values.

I am a field agent, and therefore will make two Mercantile Lore rolls as I see where we might be able to sell all these treasures we brought back.

Mercantile Lore: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

I'm not sure if you can use up any left over hero points on this roll, and I doubt you can, but just in case...

GM, the credits are showing up on Nina's profile, but there's a discrepancy I'd like to resolve. Her Chronicle shows 4 Reputation plus 2 bonus Envoys' Alliance Reputation; her profile shows only the 4 Reputation without the 2 bonus Reputation. Is her Chronicle wrong, or is there something awry with the reporting from you to OP, or something awry with the reporting from OP to Paizo?

It's the reporting form. It will get resolved in the near future, I am sure, but there was no place on the official reporting form for the convention to record the bonus 2 reputation.
