Climb: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (19) + 0 = 19
Vailis tries to grasp to the edges in order to reach the other side "Perhaps I should have accepted that alchemist beverage they were saying to confer the devil wings"

![]() |

Jorgen says "Getting down is always easier than going back up!" The bard casts a spell, then with a smile turns around and lets himself fall backwards into the pit.
Jorgen will cast feather fall on himself and anyone else that wants it (he can effect up to 8 people), then jumps down the slope. We should all be able to gently float down to the bottom.

![]() |

Before going down Vailis and Coco open the two doors at the north of this tower level to see the contents.
"Ei Kyra! Wait, take care!" the half-elf is barely able to say when people start to jump down.

Grandmaster TOZ |

The one well-appointed room contains a rug, bed, chest, table, and chair. The chest has been opened and ransacked and the rest of the room is a shambles. The next contains several bunk beds and chests. The chests are all open and empty and the bunks have been tossed. A set of stairs in the southwest corner leads down

![]() |

Adeah accepts Jorgen's spell and jumps down the pit. Mid-fall she spreads her wings just slightly and closes her eyes, allowing herself a moment of fantasy. So this is what it would feel like if these things worked.
Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16

![]() |

"I guess we are going down that pit!" Vailis takes the feather fall if that is still an option, or otherwise walks down through the stairs with Ingrge.
Coco just follows Vailis.

![]() |

"That was fun! Let's check out whatever is down those stairs. The faster we clear this building, the sooner we can get back home."

Grandmaster TOZ |

Ingrge passes the previously explored room and follows the stairs down to the first floor. He finds empty weapon racks and shelves bare of armor exhibiting evidence of the orc’s thievery. Several broken bits of armor and weapons as well as a dozen or so broken crates litter the floor. There is nothing of value here.

![]() |

"They said that the crypt was supposed to be underneath the tower. We came all the way here, so let's make a thorough check for any secret doors."
Jorgen searches the first floor for any signs of a hidden door.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12

![]() |

"Ok, let's have this done. Follow me" Vailis casts feather fall both on Ingrge and on himself to placidly descend into the crater along with Jorgen and Kyra. Coco descends flapping his dream-fey-like small wings.
Perception (low-light vision, Vailis): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Perception (darkvision, Coco): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28

"I just hope we're alone down here."
Casting detect evil.

![]() |

Does the descend into the crater render any result?
If not Coco can take us out hanging a rope or something from the top.

![]() |

Jorgen carefully climbs down the crater, ready to cast a feather fall if anyone slips.

![]() |

Sorry, that's what I thought we were doing to begin with.
Shouldering her musket, Adeah climbs down into the pit as well.
Climb (take 10): 10 + 5 = 15

Grandmaster TOZ |

Sorry about that, things got away from me. I also misread the depth of the pit, so no problems getting down.
This 50-foot-by-55-foot cavern stands fifteen feet tall, littered with stalagmites and stalactites, that make the entire room very difficult to traverse. The only light comes from the hole above.
A large rock, about 7-1/2 feet in diameter, rests against the north wall of the cavern, evidence clearly indicating that it punched the hole in the ceiling above. The rock itself is black as night but from it stretch hideous, bulbous vines one to two feet in circumference that stretch all about the cavern, grow up out of the hole above, and wind down into the other cavern below.

"Why I always end having to fight overgrown monsters on our diplomatic missions? You told me we would study old artifacts and ancient magic when you bound to me Master" Coco protests while he quickly flies surrounding the plant to give others a flank.

Damage: 1d12 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
Not sure whether this would be Knowledge (arcana) or (nature), but my bonus is the same for both of those.
Knowledge (flower): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24

Grandmaster TOZ |

Adeah recognizes a moonflower, an alien plant not native to Golarion. They are normally short lived, reproducing by snaring a victim in pod prisons that consume the unfortunate creature and spawn a new moonflower with traces of the original creature in its features. As the flash of light clears, the caricature of an orcish face can be seen on the main stalk of the flower. The bullet strikes true, but barely deals half of the damage to the spongy mass.

![]() |

Fort Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Jorgan sees the plant begin to glow and tries to shield his eyes from the blast of light. Unfortunately he is a little too slow and finds himself staring right at it when the light goes off.

Coco resists the spores but Vailis starts to cry, his eyes full and scratchy "I can't see! What is going on?"
"Can some of you help my weepy Master?" Coco says while trying to render the plant down with his claws.

"Approach you all, I cannot see, I will need to touch you to give you my magic" producing a licorice root from his pouch Vailis casts haste, as he cannot see, he needs to touch the targets in order to deliver the spell. He quickly finds Adeah, Jorgen and Kyra next to him and delivers the spell on them in addition to himself if they give him their hand.
If Ingrge calls him, Vailis uses his movement to move at half speed because blinded to reach the archer and touch her too.
Haste benefits: +1 to hit, +1 AC, +1 Reflex, +30' movement and extra attack when full attacking

I think Kyra should be up now too.

Well, so much for the extra attack.
BOOM, BOOM, clink. Adeah's third bullet misfires, and she swears at it under her breath.

Previous was a surprise round where only Coco and Ingrge succeeded on the Perception rolls. Now we are beginning round 1, that's why Jorgen and Kyra cannot act yet ;)
"Well, let's hope it eats Coco then. It will find it pretty indigestive" Vailis comments back to the female elf.

![]() |

Oh whoops, I guess I went twice. Ok make my previous post my round 2 actions.

Grandmaster TOZ |

Coco finds it much easier to begin shredding the strange plant with quick swipes of claws. The moonflower twists about, flailing tendrils and a large maw at the eidolon. Coco is nimble enough to avoid the snapping trap, but runs into a bludgeoning tentacle!

Yep, messed up the bolding, that's my bad. For Vailis' action, haste cannot actually be cast as a touch spell, so he'll need to try something else.

Jorgen does not let a little loss of vision deter him and begins to loudly perform. "Do not lose your courage! We have all fought in the dark before and we do not get deterred by such things! Remember the stories we have heard and the stories we will live to tell! I'm sure you all remember hearing the tale of how Kreighton Shane solved a Thassilonian cypher puzzle while inside the belly of a purple worm. Do you think he could see? No, he couldn't! But we know that didn't stop him, did it?"
Jorgen then casts a mirror image on himself before taking a lurching step towards the sound of battle.
