GM Blake's PFS(2) Introduction to PbP (Q2: Unforgiving Fire) (Inactive)

Game Master Blake's Tiger

Handouts

I am recruiting for PFS(2) Quest #2: Unforgiving Fire. This table is designed to introduce players new to Play-by-Post to the concepts of the format (esp. on the Paizo boards, as that is where I am most familiar). Players new to PFS and/or PF2 are welcome as well. Experienced players are also welcome.

As an introductory table, my usual 1 post within 24 hours of prompting for action is relaxed to 48 hours. Note: This may mean what would usually take 3 weeks to complete may take an undefined period of time longer, which could overlap with GenCon. There will likely be more OOC communication in the Gameplay tab than I try to maintain for my non-introductory tables where I try to move those discussions to the Discussion tab.

I have 2 seats reserved, leaving 4 seats available.

Please express your interest and note your level of experience/proficiency with PbP and PF2.

Anticipated close of recruitment is end of day (for me) on July 5th.

Thank you. I look forward to GMing for you.

Radiant Oath

Reserved seat no. 1 reporting for duty! (scoundrel rogue 1)

Grand Lodge

Already played it. It's a really good quest. Have fun, ya'll!

I'm interested! I am fairly new to PbP. I started my first game in late May and just joined my 2nd game this week. I am still learning PF2 (I've only played a few 2-hour sessions here and there) and brand new to PFS. I have quite a bit of experience with PF1.

I would love the opportunity to play in a beginner's game. Having said that, if you get more players than you need, I would gladly step aside for someone with less experience than myself.

Elariel is a cloistered cleric of Nethys, Level 1.

Envoy's Alliance

Love to play if there's space. Level 2 gnome cleric of Nethys.

Edit: Though if you are gearing toward new players, I'm happy to take a pass.

Like the others, would like to play, am familiar with PF1 and play by post (though only a little on this site), and have yet to play PF2.

If you have a spot, would love to fill it with a 1st level Fighter. If you have enough volunteers that are new to the hobby and want to try it out, I will gladly step aside.

Horizon Hunters

This is my first (and currently only) PF2 character (half elf rogue 1), fresh off of Quests 3 & 4. I'm still learning PF2 and eager for more.

Envoy's Alliance

*waves at Nal*

Blake, I'm a relatively experienced player in PBP and PF2. But really keen to try out the quests, and just came out of my first two with Nal. :) Another rogue though, a gnome thief.

Radiant Oath

This is going to be a very roguish party. :D

That would actually describe the party for the PaizoCon run of this that I GMed. Heh.

I am intetrested I haver played a lot of PFS and PBP games. Been gaming for 28 years. Have yet to play PFS2

Envoy's Alliance

If we have more than 6, please let david barker have my spot.

I'm going to step back to make room for new players. Have fun!

I feel called out.

Horizon Hunters

Great; thanks! What info do you need from us to get started?

For those of you compulsively checking the recruitment thread (that's a good thing, painted_green), the Discussion is open. There is a link to the GoogleSlides to put in the information that I need.

For the rest of you, off I go to painfully search and send PMs...

EDIT: It was only 1.5 players. Not bad. Yay!

This Quest is not particularly punishing. Create whatever you'd like to try out. :)

...except maybe a social specialist. Quests are really brief and this one isn't set in a city/social venue.
