Let's see how this goes.

Grand Lodge

Alright more edits done thanks

Damn, wish I saw this recruitment earlier. Love me some V:tM/V:tDA.

I'll have to see if I can put together a submission by the 10th. Is there a particular time of day on the 10th for the deadline?

Leaning toward a Brujah, more of a warrior-scholar than the rabble/anarchists that they have become in modern nights.

I'll leave it open until 10:00 PM Atlantic Time.

Another question:

Are sources outside of the V20 Dark Ages core book available, such as Libellus Sanguinis series or the Player's Guides to the High/Low Clans?

Things got busy so I likely wont get a submission in but am curious to see what people come up with.

Sure.

Cool, not sure I will actually use anything from those books, just wanted to confirm if they were fair game or not. Thanks.

Switching tracks. Going Lasombra.

Looking forward to the final result!

Alright, that came together quicker than I thought it would.

Here's my submission Lucian Della Torre of Clan Lasombra.

Just realized I still need to pick Charisma and Manipulation specialties for Lucian. I'll get to that tonight.

I have a really odd request, that will likely be turned down as it's a bit out there, but

Could I play an Angelis Ater?

I'm thinking he would come from a long line of devout Catholics, possibly even minor clergy(local level most likely). His embrace would be rather recent, and he would thus still be on the Path of Humanity, struggling with his actual inner demons and what good he has left within him.

@Monkeygod: Sounds like a good concept. Only real concern I have is Daimoinon.

Any particular reason?

For the record, I don't plan on playing this PC as overly Satanic or truly evil. I am seeing him as very much a "the road to Hell is paved with good intentions" sort. Struggling to still do/be 'good', despite the very evil powers withing him. I'm also going to try and play up the two different sides of the Abyss and Hell within him. Especially since in Vampire, the two are **very** different, as opposed to how in D&D they are mostly the same aside from alignment.

Alrighty then. Get to it.

Specialties updated. Lucian should be ready to go now.

Would it be okay if I took the Harbinger of the Abyss(5pt) and Unholy Stain(3pt, from Tome of Secrets) flaws, but only gain the standard 7 extra freebie points, losing the extra 1?

Also, would you be okay with my taking the Demonic Patron(5pt) merit, also from Tome of Secrets? I figure it would be an interesting way for you as the ST to further tempt my fall.

@Monkeygod: I don't have the Tome of Secrets, so I'm not sure how the Unholy Stain or the Demonic Patron flaws and merits work.

Demonic Patron

Unholy Stain

I was thinking the two flaws are a good way to represent the two forces at war within him. Things are very much out of his control, but he is going to try and put up the good fight.

@Monkeygod: I'll allow Harbinger of the Abyss, but not Demonic Patron or Unholy Stain. If you want to keep the temptation element for your character, I'd recommend taking a look at the Demon-Hounded flaw.

That was actually my first flaw, before I checked out Tome of Secrets, so that works totally fine for me.

Alrighty then! Looking forward to the final result!

I am still going back and forth between my two concepts (both low crusaders, one leper-nosferatu, the other half-turkish assamite). I am leaning toward the Nosferatu, but I am curious how you are going to handle Appearance 0 in game? Is constantly being in a mask or helm going to make it managable, or would my character basically be forced from social situations?

@Oblivion's Scion: If you can keep your appearance concealed, then it's manageable.

Apologies for not getting a properly formatted sheet just yet. I will fix that tomorrow, but I wanted you to see my stats.

Do you wanna work with me on my patron(non demonic), allies and mentor? Or will you just assign them(I've had STs do that for me before, and I totally don't mind).

Also, trying to decide on gender, lol. I want to really play up the superstitions of the time, so my PC will be a redhead with green eyes. Roth actually means 'red hair' lol. Leaning towards a female, because they are seen as even 'worse' than males.

We can work out the details.

Aside from backstory, is there anything else I need? Are you okay with all my choices?

Looks good for the most part, but it looks like you didn't assign all of your virtue points.

I'm stuck at work far later than expected tonight and my character notes are on my home PC. If you are willing to take a late submission, I will have it up later tonight. If not, I understand and wish you all best of luck.

I'll take it.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Alrighty, those of you with late submissions in progress should finish up. Recruitment is now closed.

I'll look over the completed submissions and make a final decision on July 12th.

For some reason, I've been unable to get onto Paizo for the last few hours. All other sites worked for me, so it wasn't internet issues.

I hope you'll allow me to fall into the 'late submission' category, but if not, no worries.

This is Oblivion's Scion, dropping in my character submission. I ended up going with my potential Assamite character, as I found the story more compelling as I wrote it. Thank you for the consideration, I hope you enjoy.

Good luck all.

Alrighty! Thank you for your patience, folks!

After looking over the submissions, I've picked the following five:

Elena Rosu
Lucian Della Torre
Alexander Prost
Dottore Alexandru Creangâ
Altan Yilmaz

Go ahead and post in the discussion thread. Thank you all for your submissions, and thank you all for your interest!

Thanks for your consideration and have a great game folks!

If you lose a player please keep me in mind and thanks for the consideration

I too regret missing this one .

Aww I saw this too late. Add me to the list if you have drop outs and need another player.
