Kultanien takes out a cloth in her off hand and tries to clean the glass near the door, hoping to see through it, or at least give the others a chance to see what was happening.

The door pops open.
In a burst of light, a translucent green skittermander materializes in the garden, hovering over the pile of bones. “Shh, shh, shh,” the spirit soothes, shaking her head forlornly. “They don’t mean to hurt you,” she explains. “They’re just confused. All they remember is pain.” She regards the living, then crinkles her nose and points at the vesk Brigadier accusingly. “Why’d you bring this meanie into my garden? Haven’t they done enough?”

The ghost looks at the Brigadier "The Veskarium! You're the Veskarium aren't you? Murdered us all for helping!" she looks at Mich and smiles, then Rocket, “Hey! These aren’t the vesk who killed me! Why didn’t you say so in the first place? Hi, nufriends! I’m Sprout! I was a gardener before I died.”

Zangief exits the room and Mr. Bison begin work on repairing him as the others talk to Sprout.

Bison takes 20 minutes and spends 1 resolve point to repair 8 points of damage to Zangief and then he slaps a nanite patch Mk. 1 and Mk. 2 on it.

"We are looking for stridermanders. They have made a real mess of your base heree and we want to get rid of them." she explains after a break.

"I can't tell you where to find them though, I just stay in this room with the others. They're hiding again now."

"That's all I need to know," Mr. Bison broadcasts menacingly. Back on his riding saddle on Zangief they head for the second set of double doors on the southern side of the building and kicks them in.

“My friends and I were heroes called Allsix Assist. We helped the Veskarium do all kinds of stuff! Until the soldiers came and shot us–which was super rude! I died here. I’m not sure where my friends died, but when I woke, we were all heaped together. There’s something wrong with them, though. They’re not like me. They can’t remember anything. I think they’re perplexed because their bodies got mixed up and they don’t have any way to untangle themselves. Nothing they love, you know? Not like me! I have my garden! But their stuff’s all gone. Maybe if you bring them something they loved, they’ll get better! I’d like that. I miss them. Will you help?”

Mr Bison and Zangief head back to the other doors and boot them open.
A filthy mound of debris, fabric, and broken furniture dominates the center of this vast chamber, reaching halfway to the thirtyfoot- high ceiling. The floor is littered with bones, refuse, and half-eaten corpses.
The east wall is decorated with framed photographs, mostly shattered, while the west is plastered with paper rotten by time and filth. The south wall bears a mural, its paint faded and crumbling.
A number of Stridermanders turn to stare. One sits atop the mound - the alpha!

"Do you think if we brought them here, that would help with them getting sorted out?"
But before the plan can be put into action, the Action Hero makes his move.

The door was released by the ghosts after they pummeled everyone in the room and the haunt faded. You got your rest in
"Yes! What a great idea! My friends are the best! Prismacora loved to sing and make music. Viverivim was a great painter! He was married to Bixby, you know. Bixby was a visionary! He thought if we helped skittermanders join the Veskarium’s family we’d be the greatest helpers ever! Too bad it didn’t work. I guess we didn’t help enough… Tipps loved cartoons and was really great with computers. They even made Compy! Compy used to be in one of the small rooms down the middle hall. Razzlefrazz was old and clumsy and had a really long beard! He loved to make fireworks and see things explode! He got blown up, though. I’m not sure he liked that.”

Zangief and Mr. Bison fall back behind the double doors they just came from. Bison rearranges his body to form a mouth and yells into his comm unit, "I found the stridermanders. If we move quickly we can form an ambush at the first set of double doors." As he says this he morphs his body at the molecular level to extend his tentacles giving him a 10' reach.
Early Stage Adaptation: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Zangief readies an action to attack any stridermander that follows them through the double doors with his tactical pike. Mr. Bison readies an action to attack with his dragon gland as soon as the stridermanders come through the doors. He intends to catch as many as he can in the 15' cone of his attack.

She skeddales out of the greenhouse and lines up a shot for if the strindermanders break into the bedroom.

Mr. Bison's tentacles change back into their normal length as he can only maintain his molecular adaptations for a certain period of time.
"There's 4 or 5 stridermanders in this room. One of them is the alpha. It's much bigger than the ones we've seen so far. It must be the one you are looking for. Their smarter than we thought. We had a perfect ambush set up and they didn't take the bait."

"I would have thought by now you learned that these things are ambush predators themselves, that's what they do - camouflage and conceal, then pounce. We've come across them twice down here, they're cunning and clever and try pick you off unawares, by now they will be concealing themselves or moving into ambush locations of their own. "

"I guess we may have to spring their ambush then. But first, Mr Bison, I like your plan. I wonder how patient the stridermanders would be if we didn't rush in there though.
She moves up to cover the entrance.

Oops, sorry this character doesn't have a smoke grenade. New plan, we let Mich charge up and then follow him in there.
Mr. Bison gives the Brigadier a perplexed look. "Right, looks like Mitch is almost fully charged. We'll let him go in first. Zangief moves them both into position near the entrance to the room hoping to get a better view of the situation.
Both ready actions to attack if any stridermanders approach them.

Muttering something about knowing he would have made a great shot if something would just have nice enough to walk in front of his blaster Rocket double times it towards the rest of the party and passes most of them on his way.
Double move
Hearing Mich mentioning blasting Rocket stops in front of the chamber with a grin on his face and a big blaster pointing in the general direction of the door as he pants for air after rushing towards here.
