I'm going to work up something other than a fighter, I think our front line looks pretty solid, any preference between a Cleric or a Wizard?
I expect to have that done, today. I'll join you in Gameplay ASAP.

Definitely play whatever you want. First level characters can be rebuilt in between scenarios so you can even experiment with a crazy build if you want.
That being said, this scenario requires blazing a trail through mountains. Hopefully it will not be a spoiler that Nature and Survival will come up often.
If we end up with glaring deficiencies, I'll use public recruitmwnt to fill the gaps.

Roonfizzle Garnackle |

For clarity, I would not make a character I wouldn't mind playing ;)
That said, an 8 wis Goblin Alchemist (Bomber), is set. I have no objection to whipping up a Cleric next! If I accidentally happen to have Nature and Survival, so be it.
First though, I need to get some more work done.

Please also fill in your token and perception modifiers on slide 1.

Okay, thanks. I filled in my perception, but I don't know how to make a token or put it there. Sorry, I'm very new at this.

Right click on your icon on one of your posts (in other words, your character's picture). Then click "copy". Click over to the maps page and right click again, and this time click "paste".
You're fine. I'm going to have a hard time in this later as well--Although I have played PF2 a few times, I don't think I have picked up the rules as well as I would like yet.

Are you on a mobile device? Do you have Google Slides installed? (It comes pre-installed on Android devices.)
How do you look at slides in your VTT games (Roll20?) or in your other PbP game?

I'm usually on a desktop, occasionally on phone during breaks at work.
I guess I have Google Slides installed, I used them in the previous PbP game.
All the VTT games I've played have used roll20 or Fantasy Grounds. No slides involved.
It's giving me the "pop-up" when I try to paste the avatar picture.

GM Watery Soup |

Not sure why that is. I'll put your token in the slides for you.

@ Bariel, Not sure if you are trying to copy & paste but I had to click on the mountain looking symbol on the tab to "Insert Image" then resize it. If you want to be in front then Mylow can move to the back.

I was doing the right click "copy and paste" deal. Yes, Barry should be in the front.

Playing a game of good cop/bad cop? ... Hmm, where does a Goblin fall on that spectrum. <ponders>
So far, it looks like good cop/good cop. Unless you want to scare them into fessing up?

![]() |

Holding for the moment due to the slides concern, but would it be possible to use say Survival or Nature or even Perception (same bonus of +6) to determine if they are alarmed due to US, or something else near where they're gathered?
Bariel, when you check the slides, are you logged into any google accounts at all? Gmail? If not, try again after logging into gmail, that frequently eases some hiccups.

Arlo, you appear to be now posting with a different character than you initially did. Can you update the tagline and character sheet for the one you intend to play?

![]() |

Oh nuts. Sorry about that. When I first started PF2 play I had accidentally created Arlo as a PF1 character.
The profile from that character remains. It's a mystery to me as far as blowing away unused OP characters.
I'll be using Arlo's "real" profile that is linked to the correct character sheet and has a stat line. Of course I can't guarantee that I won't accidentally post under a different character, but I'll try not to.

GM Watery Soup |

Did Zoosh’s tongue seem more effective because of the crit, or just for being a tongue?
Crit.
According to your profile, both the bite and the tongue deal bludgeoning damage. The swarm has bludgeoning resistance, but the resistance is not doubled so crits appear more effective.

![]() |

Sorry for the delay, folks. Two double-shifts in a row take it out of you!
GM, to answer about the maps: When I right click on my avatar on the first page, then click "Copy", then click the actual map thumbnail to go to the map, then right click on the map, then click "Paste", I get a pop-up. It reads, "Enable copy, cut, and paste?
To copy, cut, and paste using the Edit menus install this Google Chrome extension to your browser.
Alternatively, you can always use your keyboard shortcuts:
Ctrl+C for copy Ctrl+X for cut Ctrl+V for paste"
Then there is an Install button.

Grab one of the corners and pull it towards the center.

I'm not sure, but I think that might be the first time Arlo actually whacked something with his staff (or tried to, at least).

GM Watery Soup |

It is my firm belief that any character that hasn't gotten a little blood on their clothes really can't call themselves an adventurer.

I am going to review the spells Arlo has available right after work and perhaps switch out one or two. He'll be ready to go shortly thereafter.
I'll probably be concentrating on something that could keep the Ogre off balance (if I have that) as opposed to raw damage.

![]() |

Why do I get the feeling that this could be three gnomes, standing on each other's shoulders, dressed in an Ogre costume?
Arlo would DEFINITELY see through such a ruse! At least I would like to think he would.
I'll move Bariel's token for you.

Does Arlo have access to the Uncommon arcane spell unstack gnomes?
