I'm so used to it, I kind of forget that it isn't especially obvious. It's an artefact of how the sheets auto generate a BB code stat block that just links back. Which is handy, but not idea.
I think I'd definitely go for Livakian

GM Hmm |

It looks like Maverick and Naylor are left to double-team Xirillis.

![]() |

Mav's current character sheet is linked here: Maverick
The stats on the Paizo page are not up to date. It is also in my tagline.
Mav's intimidate skill is relatively high so he will be fine negotiating with Xirillis.

![]() |

I can auto aid on either piloting or engineering. Unless there is an objection I will aid Maverick.

![]() |

No objection. I've aided in Engineering.
I suspect that Mav just taking 10 will have no problems with Piloting for this check.
Might want two to make the Engineering check, just to protect against a bad dice roll.

![]() |

With a result of 32, I suspect we have the computers check.
Everyone else probably wants to pile on Sense Motive Aid Another while Maverick attempts the check.

![]() |

Ooops. I already posted. It is in a spoiler and I didn't look at the result. I just went with Naylor's motivations.

GM Hmm |

And it was good enough! I suspect the next one will be too!

![]() |

Should I take 10 on this next piloting roll?

GM Hmm |

Up to you. That said, so far your Take Ten Piloting has worked every time because of your level of character investiment.

![]() |

When I post awaiting possible aid, does not mean I expect it or that I will be unhappy if someone makes their own roll. Using spoilers to keep options open.

![]() |

Same here. Spoiler is to allow others to Aid if they want.

![]() |

Given I can auto aid on gunnery, but my bonus isn't that hot, I'll do that. In fact, I can auto aid on most of the checks (though not that bluff one sorry). Looks like you were all progressing well in my absence, so if the round looks like it needs an aid to get us over the limit feel free to claim my support.

GM Hmm |

Instead of auto-aiding, I am going to suggest that you do your own rolls for the gunnery.

![]() |

So for Step 5, should I Aid Pilot or Aid Computers?
If you want to be eligible for an Aid you need to put it in spoilers.
Let me know what the group thinks is more necessary. I'm guessing this is likely to be the final check and the hardest piloting check.

![]() |

I think we only need one success on each. The exception was last round with the gunnery, something I hadn’t realized until after it was over.

GM Hmm |

Clarification: You only needed one success on the gunnery, but multiple people could try for it. You had zero successes until the Kreiholm Freehold came in. It was HARD shot.

![]() |

Might need someone to roll the computers check again since the first attempt was low. Fortunately we have several team members who are good at that skill. Give me one aid on the piloting roll since it is the last one. Can we still get help from the Kreiholm Freehold?

GM Hmm |

Yes, you can still call in one favor from the Freehold.

Taking a GM break for the night. See you all tomorrow!

![]() |

Naylor's computer check may have been enough. Not sure.

![]() |

Well, we do have another use left, so thinking about it, if we know this is the last challenge, no reason not to use that help.

![]() |

We better use it. Our computer skill rolls have been pretty bad. Maverick's piloting roll is a take 10 so it is the same as past rounds. That was enough to succeed, but I don't know if the DC is higher for his check since this is the last round.

![]() |

With ConCurrent starting in a few hours, I am going to be pretty busy the next three days. I will try to check in and keep up with this game but please do not hesitate to bot me as needed.

GM Hmm |

Shall we close this game for convention? How many people will be at Concurrent?
Hmm

![]() |

Not me, but happy to pause if most other folk are there.

![]() |

I'm not taking part in the con, but am fine with whatever the majority wants.

GM Hmm |

That's two. Let's pause until the end of Concurrent once this round is over. Concurrent runs until June 21st, so I'll probably put something up late Sunday to kick us back into gear.
(My Eyes of the Ten group is finally meeting again online after pausing for over a year, mid-adventure. They decided to meet this weekend, so I'm not doing Concurrent.)

![]() |

Is it unreasonable for me to have moved to and climbed up the jinsul Craft in the surprise round?
The trick attack requiring a full round action had to happen at the start of the normal round.

GM Hmm |

You have a climb speed and haste, go ahead and climb.

GM Hmm |

I am happy to pause for everyone playing at the Con to dedicate themselves to it.
Great. Have you moved to where you need to be, Chivix?

![]() |

Movement done!
He is now on the upper wing of the Jinsul craft.

GM Hmm |

Alright, you can post or not in combat, but the GM will not be moving us to a new round until Sunday evening.
Compucast, I think you may be cheating yourself of DR. Your DR should be 6 now, since enhanced resistance is based on your base attack!

![]() |

Maverick can apply the flat footed condition to orange, Naylor to magenta and Zeyram to blue so Compucast can make a run for it.

![]() |

Yes, that was what I was suggesting in gameplay only without the specific details.
I don’t care who targets who, but Zeyram would ask the one in the thick of the enemy what their preference is — especially when that person is a spell caster.
We might want Maverick or Naylor to target blue though. He has taken the most damage and if we are lucky they are close to down. Both of you do better damage.

Oh, good spotting. Ka-ching! Compucast gets tougher.

@hmm, I just realised you are a genius. I struggle to even get four links in my GM character header, and was gazing in frustrated awe at your seven or eight... and then realised you use tinyurl. Why didn't I think of that?

Inspiration was forced on me from back when I was a PBP VC and needed to cram every PBP event in there!
Hmm

GM Hmm |

It's Father's Day, and I need to be free tonight, so I am going bot Spanner in half an hour so that I can move combat forward.

![]() |

Hmmpf! I can read and post in here but I can not load the gameplay thread. I will try again later. Sigh.

GM Hmm |

I have moved us on to Round 3 of combat!

GM Hmm |

So... What route are you going to pick? Feel free to discuss here.
Crawl Spaces: The second fastest option is to sneak through maintenance crawl spaces, elevator shafts, and even a trash compactor to avoid detection. You must first succeed at an Engineering check to open doors, vents, and other mechanical barriers. Each attempt takes 2 minutes.
After that, each of you must attempt an Acrobatics or Athletics check to quickly navigate narrow spaces, precarious ledges, and so forth. Reaching the command chamber takes 10 minutes plus 2 minutes for each PC that fails the skill check. If the you choose this route, you will also smell incredibly terrible for the remainder of the scenario.
Main Deck: The route through the main deck is the shortest, but it is also the ship's busiest part. You must choose a leader, who must succeed at a Stealth check to scout ahead, and the rest of you must each attempt an easier Stealth check to sneak past crew and guards.
You are successful if the leader succeeds at the Stealth check and no more than two of the rest of you fail your Stealth checks; it takes you 5 minutes to reach the command chamber. If you fail, they have to backtrack, wasting 10 minutes, after which you must choose another route. You can use invisibility and similar abilities, provided that the effect's duration is at least 5 minutes.
Safe Route: You plot a long but safe route through the ship's least busy sections. This takes 15 minutes, and you must succeed at three Perception checks to take the right turns. Each failed check increases the amount of time spent by 5 minutes.
