Hey, is this thing on?
Welcome Players!
This is our corner of the Paizo Messageboards to Discuss stuff related (or possibly not related) to the Voice in the Void game being run by GM Yours is mined for PaizoCon Online 2020.
We can text-chat and I can answer your questions here before the game too.

As promised, a Sample Map has been added >> Here << for manipulating tokens.
This map link is also at the top of the page, and under my Avatar picture
I have also added a Sample Prop Picture in Google Slides

the red and blue lines have to do with alignment and spacing to other icons on the page. Snap to Grid mode is prolly better, unless it's really far off from the map.
using the menu: View, Full Screen is somewhat bigger, but still can be manipulated. The "Presentation" button makes it true full-screen, but no longer editable.
Also, for anyone who needed dice, there's a d6 icon [::] in the menu now. It has all the d#, not just d6. But it only mimics the die itself. Still have to add whatever modifier in yer head, same as real dice. I do not know yet if everyone sees the pop-up. Either way, it's likely you'll still need to announce the final result over Discord (or chat?).

@Peter, Vampaerus has you covered. The red & blue lines disappear as soon as you 'drop' the token (release the left mouse button). I guess they were designed to be a grid alignment tool(??) but don't have any meaning per se.
Any way to make map full screen and still be able to drag tokens?
No really. BUT, you can zoom-in on a particular part of the map using the ‘+ magnifying glass’ zoom tool.
Reset to the original view by (Top Left Toolbar) View --> Zoom --> Fit
During play, is our interaction voice, text or a mix of both?
I suspect just like (my experience with) Roll20 it will mainly be voice.
I may add some text links to this Discussion page and alert you to them via Voice. (Again this has been my experience with Roll20)
At this point I anticipate having ONE set of Google Slides that I will add stuff to. So it might pay to have those on your screen, while having a separate character sheet, dice and pens.
Not unlike a real table, eh?

One thing I like to do to get my players ready for the game, is to introduce them to the place in the Inner Sea they will be travelling to.
This introductory ‘title page’ may hint at the history of the city/region, display a local atlas-style map and perhaps give a clue (or red herring!) about what the scenario is about.
So without further ado, here is the Where on Golarion are we? link for this game.
It's also currently at the top of the page.

Can I ask you to do two more things for me, please peeps?
Yeah, I know. I’m a slave-driver ☺
1. Can you please fill in your PC’s details in the following table: >> HERE <<
AND
2. Add your PC token to the following page of the Google Slides:

Hey peeps,
You can add an avatar picture to your PC if you like by going to the “top black toolbar ribbon” and *left-click*
Organized Play -> Create a Character (Blue toolbar ribbon) -> EDIT button on righthand side of your PFS PC ->
1. Select a faction, if you want to
2. Left-click “Change” box (below faction details), and then scroll through the art options to pick an avatar that’s right for your PC!

Intro for Mickey, the Unnatural Ratfolk Alchemist/4.
Mickey has been playing with chemicals since he was a pup which has led to an unusual body odor, causing animals to default to one step further away from friendly. In turn, numerous unfortunate incidents led Mickey to be specially wary of animals.
As with many alchemists, Mickey very much enjoys blowing things up and benefits from no penalty to hit targets involved in melee. Thanks to his Grenadier archetype when he does hit his target he can control the splash and spare his friends. If he misses the target, everyone DUCK and COVER!
Mickey has both Darkvision 60' and low-light vision. It's complicated.
