Prior to Frantino swinging, Ayita would have been trying to perceive what was going on out there. A little peek, lots of listening. The "Be Still" spell attack from that witch, she has heard before though! So she would charge out when she heard that, with Yazhi.

I think that she can get into flank around the witch, in a single move, if she goes through Nasir's space. Yazhi may have need to use a double move to get around the witch.

When it hits, Ayita looks quickly and sees Lullaby Vancaskerkin and her fellow Roadkeeper, Siona. The latter stands, holding a longbow, grinning. She and Lullaby are behind an earthen berm atop the stone house's roof.

Siona laughs when she sees the arrow strike home. "Heh! Lullaby said I could shoot you this time, Shoanti!"

Earlier Ayita rerolled a save. I don't recall us discussing rerolls before and what the criteria and limits are, but this seems like a good time to reroll, if it's allowed.

Frantino's muscles start to freeze up on him, but his intense emotional outburst toward his banished brother cause him to fight through it!

And now they show themselves. Too bad we did not kill them at the ferry...

Recognizing that Frantino is frozen and Ayita is exposed to the longbow attacks, Nasir springs into action.

First he steps up next to Ayita to make shooting her more difficult. After putting himself in an interposing position, he summons the last bit of fire in his belly, and spits a gout of flame at Mother Nightrush.

Fire Breath, DC 13 Reflex save for half: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 6, 6) = 17

I'm assuming that spitting the fire breath is a standard action, but I cannot find anything that says that specifically. If it isn't, then let me know so I can make some adjustments to my action.

Also, can we run to the top of the stone house or do we need to climb?

How much time has passed since we started the battle in the basement? Frantino cast Shield then, and I calculate around 30 seconds for the battle, another minute healing and identifying one magic item, then coming up the stairs. One reason Frantino was pushing it a little was to try to get outside before his spell expired, but I'm not sure if he was successful. Even if he was, there still wouldn't be much time left on it, 30 seconds at most. His two one minute buffs have expired, of course.

Frantino tries to tumble around all the Aldrens so he can't keep backing away, in the hopes that Roscoe is on his way to help. This will also give him cover against the archers.

"I said, BE STILL!" she screeches. She moves to the edge of the wagon and shouts, "Fine. FINE!"

She points at Frantino and the world suddenly darkens around him. Stars and the deep blackness of the Dark Tapestry can be seen all about him. The void between worlds is cold, cold, COLD.

The song emanating from atop the Stone House comes into clearer focus, its notes crystallizing into... a lullaby. Soft and soothing. Quiet and gentle...

@AYITA @NASIR @DOC Will Save vs. Sleep DC14. If all three of you fail, it afffects Ayita and then Nasir.

@ROSCOE If your previous action, not yet stated, would have brought you into the area, you are included and will need to roll a save. HOWEVER, recalling the position of everybody clustering around Nightthrush at your turn in the init order, I assumed you'd be moving to support Frantino.

From my reading of the spell, I guess that Nasir does not crumple to the ground, but falls asleep on his feet. Now that he is awakened by Doc, does he come back into initiative or did he just lose his turn?

There's a long thread on Paizo about sleeping, falling prone, and sleep vs. unconscious and all of the implications of that. TL;DR - there's no definitive ruling. I'm going with fantasy spell + common sense. You are magically overcome with the urge to sleep and slowly collapse to ground. Summary: You are prone, but not disarmed.

As for next action: you act on your next turn. Unless something happens between now and then. Mwahaha!
