Behset will smile at the comment, and look at others and say See, my ramblings not meaningless! to get their attention, before continuing to Laori Auguries most useful when clear, and so rarely are. Does Zon Kuthon not play these games? I suppose puzzle headaches are not really his brand of torture.

As Faust unlocks the door, Laori looks on with interest.
"Oh, I was wondering what might be in there, but locks are my not specialty."
This room appears to have once been a combination kitchen and storeroom, but is now a bewildering riot of brightly colored fungus and mold. The stuff grows everywhere and in every color, over tables, across cupboards, and in swaths along the floor and walls, but it seems thickest to the southwest, where puffy sheets of yellow fungus cover several objects so completely it’s impossible to make out what lies beneath.
Laori looks at the open door and seems disappointed.
"Well. That's much less interesting than I hoped."
With that, she packs up the skulls to clear space for Behset to contact the spirits.

Is anyone better with nature things that might know what this is before I go and explore inside? Faust looks a bit grossed out by the mold. There seems to be something under the mold just want to know what this is before I move jn.

After coming out of her trance, Behset will perk up at the mention of natural things and peer curiously into the room. After one too many bad bouts with mushrooms, she more cautiously examines them from a distance and covers her face if she needs to study them more closely, she will also cast guidance on herself.
Nature master +15 with assurance for 25.
She will also relay the message of the spirits Entities here say that some type of knights took Scream, I hazard guess that means Gray Maidens as not many other knightly types hanging about. On Andaisan fate they only give me unplesant sense, hard to say if that mean they just done answering questions or worse.

the spores originated from the northeast corner (marked the particular tile with a red border). mechanically, all you see is a bunch of fungus on the floor and growing up the wall, which to you seems more like a hazard than a creature

Managing to avoid inhaling the spores, Faust looks at the mass of mold, and can see what looks like might be a couple items under the living mat.
due to the "clutter" in the room, further seeking will require additional actions. three total will potentially reveal whatever might be under or trapped within the layers of fungus.

Digging into the growth, Faust retrieves a sealed container and a ring. Hanging out in the room however, the fungus puffs out another cloud of the toxic spores.

Behset avoids the toxic effects as she enters the room, and quickly realizes that there is indeed danger here. The fungus growing in the corner is a dangerous sort that reacts poorly to sunlight or fire, but with care can be handled and possibly made into a unique pigment.

Behset will correct her initial evaluation and points to the corner Don't touch or really breath that one, it very nasty. More so with light and heat. I want it. so not following her own advice she will try and harvest it.

Behset plucks a few of the bigger clusters with deft hands, leaving the rest a mostly inert mass of mold. Faust fumbles about picking at the remaining bits, but feels that it may have no effect.. or maybe the plant is no longer dangerous.
Stepping out of the room he clutches to his prize, while the already inhaled spore bang away at his lungs.
we'll drop out of initiative now, but i'll need 4 more fort saves to see if faust can clear the poison.

The elf woman watches the scene play out, her lips slightly curved into a smile and a genuinely curious twinkle in her eyes.
"Is he going to be alright? Some sort of demon bug in there that frightened him half to death?"
She shrugs and sighs.
"Well, this place could be crawling with all manner of things given that state of it. Ah well. But, while you were dealing with that, I was giving it a think, and I do seem to recall there was a mention of a "Sal" she holds up her fingers and gives air quotes at the name, "when those ruffians were accosting me. Unless I miss my guess, they were some of the local thugs in the employ of the little emperor. I wouldn't mind going to give them a piece of my mind."

After Faust comes to, he slowly stands up. Thanks Doc, I really should stop running into places like that. Faust will give a bit of a chuckle as he dusts himself off and puts hit hat back on his head.
Can I sleet a sense Motive to see if she is really wanting to go after these people like she said.
Well if nothing else is here we should see if we can follow the tracks to see where they go. More help is always a good thing to have if you want to come along.
Faust will then look at Behset and the Doc. Anything you can make of these 2 things. It's a ring and a container of some sort.
I am not sure what it would take to identify these things.
