Breath Weapon Bomb:

Breath Weapon Bomb* (Ultimate Combat pg. 24): Instead of drawing the components of, creating, and throwing a bomb, the alchemist can draw the components, drink them, mix them within his body, and then expel them as a breath weapon as a standard action. This breath weapon is a 15-foot cone and has the same DC as the bomb. Each creature within the cone takes damage as if it had suffered a direct hit from the alchemist’s bomb, but succeeding at a Reflex save (DC = 10 + 1/2 the alchemist’s level + the alchemist’s Intelligent modifier) halves the damage. Unlike throwing normal bombs, drawing, drinking, and expelling breath weapon bombs does not provoke attacks of opportunity. An alchemist must be at least 6th level before selecting this discovery.

"My knowledge is strong, and I will protect my lands from this invasion. You have convinced me. That and the whale meat. But before we dig into that, let us honor Shaktu by dividing him between us for the journey ahead."

With that the giant pulls out his large axe and decapitates the bear with a single stroke to let the blood out.

--------------------------------------------

The journey to the excavation site carries you along the frozen coast of Whitefang Bay. Several of the days are frightfully cold, and you are are rightfully grateful for the endure elements wands you have brought. But not all is peril and ice, there are some grand vistas that rival any others on Golarion and the native wildlife is plentiful along the way. The giant who accompanies you, who goes by the name Ainamuuren, is a skilled hunter and trades stories and techniques along the way.

After fourteen days of travel, you finally reach the dig site, near mid-day. Cresting a small ice pack, you can see clearly the camp is under siege.

Note the long term daily style buffs you might have. As you approach, you could cast hourly or ~10-minute buffs as well. Round by round buffs will need to wait.

The excavation site sits on a broad plain near the edge of the ice pack. A wide pit dug into the snow and permafrost exposes the top of an ice crystal formation that extends from the ground. A symmetrical series of icy channels are connected to the crystal, forming a geometric pattern marred in several places by digging. At the edge of the pit, several tents and tables have been torn apart, with papers and tools scattered everywhere. A dark, powdery dust lies in patches on the snow, forming a thin crust that seems to resist the wind. Several humanoid bodies lie in the wrecked camp.

Eight zombie-like creatures have overwhelmed the site, several of them wander through the dig site tearing at the protective runes while others attack the excavation team.

DC 20 Knowledge religion:
These are blackfrost mummies, creatures of the north who are infused with blackfrost poison, which damages both health and constitution. For each 5 you beat the DC please ask another question.

Behind a makeshift barricade near the tents, a lone woman tries bravely to fight off several of the creatures but is clearly on her last legs. At her side you see the familiar white feathers of Kuokei the owl who frantically tries to keep the zombies from finishing off her master.

The barricade is about 4 feet high and grants cover. It is a 10 foot drop to get in the pit.

Luurg watches the giant cleave the bear in half then shrugs. This place weird sum times.

He really enjoys the trip, much more so even now with the giant along for company. Its the first time Luurg hasn't been the largest person in the team and delights in asking the giant to help pick the fruit off the tallest branches from his boots.

From his view atop the crest Luurg looks down on the camp and grunts disapprovingly "Not gud, very not gud!" He quickly starts preparing for battle, eating a few snacks and washing his mouth out with his floatie bottle.

"Luurg gunna go fly n help Hoots ok? Ok!" He spreads his wings and prepares for liftoff.

@Kargen The giant, Ainamuuren, only speaks Giant, so yes

I should also mention, besides leaping in, the other way into the pit would be to take the "stairs" on the left and right side of the pit. Treat those squares as difficult terrain when traversing (both up and down).

Also, the "dark, powdery dust" mentioned in the description is shown on the map as the darker "cloudy areas" on the map (in the pit)

Four of the zombies are absolutely incinerated by the combined opening salvo from the two mages. There is some collateral damage to the ice rune below however from the massive fireball.

Svala and her owl fight back as best they can, bolstered by your explosive arrival, but the zombies are relentless with their clawing attacks, and poor Kuokei drops under the onslaught. Svala screams.

The remaining zombie in the pit lumbers toward Agate through the receding flames, unaware of the danger she presents.
