Will: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 4) = 8
Now prone on the floor.
As the group prepares their next assault the magic washes over the trickster as he falls into a painful pile on the floor. The hard stone floor wakes him up just in time to hear Lady Naysha speak her answer.
As Lady Naysha speaks the answer the in Aklo the kitsune stops complaining as he looks up at the ceiling.
"WHAT?! How could I not get it when you found it so easily but the worm...the worm should eat last. I surrender...if you will explain it to me and not tell anyone you did."
Ruslo fires a shot that clatters against the stone next to him and in response their foe tosses away their weapon and shifts back into their kitsune form. On Slide 6.

Lady Naysha dances in victory!
"Yay! We did it, we did it! Yay!"
She points at the fox. "Let's get you back in this scroll! And if you want, I'll tell you a few funny jokes before we send you back in! Okay?"
Do we need to bring him to the fish now?

Fuzzzy grins. "Oh, we did it? Yay! ...Did what?"

Kiyoko keeps a wary eye on the trickster kitsune, her katana remaining in-hand for the duration.

Ruslo stows his bow, picks up his grappling hook, and gives it a twirl. "Now you're talking, fox! We've gotta get you to a fish."
Bringing him to the fish-fey!

The kitsune smirks as they gather around him and lead him back down stairs.
"You gotta tell me how you figured out that riddle though...I mean I tricked you once at least. I earned it." he begs Lady Naysha as they head down the staris.
---
In the lobby the real Shaine is still fuming over his books with the injured Virml being treated nearby. The trickster looks at the Master of Scrolls before taunting him.
"Being you was the hardest ruse yet! Being that grumpy can't be good for you." he chuckles.
---
As they trudge through the watery archives the Owl and the Albatross start to nudge each other.
"TRICKY FOX!" Albatross squawks.
"Apparently not tricky enough, Albatross." the Owl replies smugly.
The kitsune just growls at the pair.
---
Finally the group has their prisoner in front of Mistress Koi.
In Sylvan:
"Oh my...who are you all? Well it is that haughty fox! How did you know to bring him here?" she asks genuinely surprised at the large gathering of people in front of her.
With a quick reminder of who they were and their deal she waves a few tentacles in the air.
"I can't say I remember it all but the deal sounds quite wonderful my little friends. You have all the pieces of the riddle? Then all you need to do is say his name and we can all go home...I can even take all the fey with me. Oh ho...his name...I don't remember that but it is in the riddle scroll...somewhere." she says with a big sigh of water over the railing.
The kitsune does a spin.
"One last puzzle for you to solve or it looks like you are stuck with me or whoever I plan to be!" he teases the group waiting to see if they can solve it.
The very last trial is before you now, figure out his name and say it aloud. Making your chronicles now.

And with those words the scrolls fragments stitched themselves back together and the completed scroll floats in the air brimming with magic.
"GAHHHH. First the riddle and now my name. This day is absolutely horrendously lame. I will have my revenge on that riddler one day. Even if I have to get rid of all of you troublesome fey." Caught says with arms and legs crossed slowly being dragged towards the scroll.
Mistress Koi holds the group back.
In Sylvan:
"Hold on dear children. This part gets a bit windy...oh and let me clean up this mess. OWL. ALBATROSS." she says before taking in a massive unending breath that causes the water to flow in reverse through the railing of the over look and into her mouth.
"No....we are fishing....Owl...hang on!" Albatross can be heard as the are pulled up with the torrent of water. Both him and the Owl hang on to the railing.
"Hang on to what! Oh what a bother. Just let her get full on the water, you stupid bird." Owl replies.
It takes a few minutes but the the vast majority of the water and what remains of the nixie are swallowed up by the grodair. She finshes her deep breath swollen to twice her size and speaking in a much deeper voice. The two gathlain slowly climb float to solid ground but hide behind the group still scared of being eaten by Mistress Koi.
"It is about time to get this haughty Caughty fox back into the scroll where I have a nice large pond to rest in. Thank you deary...give us a hug." she says pulling in each group member with a tentacle making for a watery group hug.
By now the scroll has opened a glittering purple vortex that pulls at the very fabric of the fey creatures while only gently pulling on the Pathfinders. The group has a few moments to say their goodbyes or air their grievances before the scroll finishes it's work.

"Oh my! Goodbye Strangers! Bye strange owl and albatross! Bye strange fox-fellow! By fish! Bye!"

![]() |

"Huh. Well, there's something you don't see every day."

"What a nice, mostly, peaceful mission this was. This was nice. A pleasure working with all of you. I mean that.". Eranahu does seem a little sad now that everyone will probably be going there separate ways.

Kiyoko resheathes her katana after the kitsune is departed. She nods and grunts her goodbyes. "Mmn."
