Yeah... it might take a while to wrap this up at the speed that some folks are posting. I swear... the way PbP games are these days... I should put an initiative counter even when PCs are just talking to NPCs... lol
I'm gonna give this another two days and if the plot / actions / interactions are not resolved, I'm just going to tally up what's been done so far and post the results. If it means partial success for Quest 6, so be it. You all have two days to resolve this and finish all interactions for this part. Deadline: Wednesday 5pm, ET.
Thank you for your understanding.

My understanding (and Claremguard's as well) is that Solomon has dirt on Remeio that he is only willing to reveal for a '"fee". Not knowing what it is, Claremguard proposes paying the money, then depending on the "evidence", exposing Solomons accusations as false or, if it is convincing, withdrawing support of Alcasti.
Not having played this before, my suspicions are that the evidence is non-existent or a fabrication. If so, Claremguard thinks revealing it's true nature will help house Alcasti. If the evidence truly shows Alcasti unworthy of support, Claremguard plans to preserve the Society's honor over Alcasti.

Looking at timestamps, I just noticed that you posted basically at the same time that I did (and somehow didn't see it).
Stavarg would lean towards not taking the dirt too seriously, but hearing just enough to know it's not going to blow up at the hearing (so, more "keeping it under control" than utilizing it).

Jimmothy is more interested in discovering the truth behind Remaio's motives. If he is just trying to fix his ancestor's name only so he can enjoy the perks of high society and is using the Society to do it, that would seem to put the party and Remaio's trust and friendship in a bad light. Hence he is confronting Remaio about it.
His ancestor, Honaria, might still be worthy, but perhaps Remaio is not.

Hint: throughout each quest you have uncovered evidence to support the nobility of Honaria. Those can provide a bonus, so can great roleplay and so can bringing PCs as witness (NPCs wishing to support this will voice their wishes personally).

I presume Claremguard is proceeding to the rest next, but mostly importantly will indicate when he'd like any of the rest of us to chime in, so that we don't bumble in at the wrong time :)

To speed things up, feel free to place your bit of roleplay up front, showing what you will say when you are called as a witness. If it puts Honaria in a favorable light and your aid is 10 or higher, it will count as a +2 towards whatever you guys are trying to achieve.

Clarmeguard's "Witness List":
Jimmothy to testify regarding retrieving the bust from the ratfolk as he was injured in securing it.
Father Basri to confirm the significance of the bust.
Soldier's Glory to testify regarding its knowledge of Honoria.
Cillian to testify as to the "shrine" kept in the Alcasti home that was over taken by kobolds, which he reported to Remaio.
Mallycorn to testify as to the nature of the tomb and what was found there as well as the rivalry between families Since Mallycorn is a cleric of Pharasma, Claremguard will move to have him declared as an expert on the historical significance of the burial and the heinousness of the attempted desecration of it.
Did I miss any other potential witnesses (save Jain, who does not appear to be with us)?

This time, despite the seriousness of the ceremony, Mallycorn openly laughs until he has tears in his eyes at Jimmothy's show of "swordmanship"
Congrats, Jimmothy, you made me laugh IRL. Thanks!
I differ all credit to Chuck Jones, Mel Blanc and the rest of the cast and crew of Robin Hood Daffy* one of the absolute funniest cartoons ever made.
This video is edited to about 1/2 the time--see the full length one if you ever get the chance.

Thanks for running, GM PDK! It was great to get to play Claremguard at court.
Thanks all for the fun run. Great PCs to interact with, fine role-playing. I look forward to sharing a table with each of you in the future.

Yeah, there were definitely some different characters along for the ride which made this fun. Good thing we had Claremguard to be the eloquent adult at the hearing :)
Thanks for running this PDK!

Just wondering if you can add to my chronicle that I used my down time for a Boon?
Season 5 Boon #8
Mendevian Weapon training {Glaive}
Feel free to add it by hand with your initials. Point any disbeliever to this thread! :)

Phun game all! Young Jim is now 2nd level!
Alas, there was no aquatic location so that Jimmothy could summon Dolphosaur, or a horse chase where he could call upon Peony. Ah well, This has been as close as he's ever gotten to summoning his entire summon stable in one adventure. ;)

Chronicle looks good!
Thanks again all!
