APPEARANCE
--------------------
A dwarf with no beard, and often has white facepaint and back "skull" accents around the eyes, cheeks and mouth. His frame is quite wirey for a dwarf, and in fact he's often mistaken for a short human.
With his facepaint, he looks like this.
--------------------
PERSONALITY
--------------------
Reticent, anxious, untrusting, but optimistic. It shows that he's looking for a place to belong.
--------------------
BACKGROUND
--------------------
Stavarg was always a little different from the other dwarves, not taking to the forge or stonework. He did have the customary beard coming in, in a way where he could be a recognizable and accepted member of dwarven society.
That is, until the incident. The teasing eventually triggered his blast, and he took out three dwarven friends. He tried to carry on for a time, but his clan was passively rejecting his presence. The blasts now kept the beard singed off of his face and he barely passed for a dwarf anymore. The mutual resentment was deepening and he felt less and less a member of the clan.
He departs his home clan, wandering the Cheliax region and getting by as a sideshow act, taking the stage name "Skullfire." It seems mysterious and exciting enough that folk don’t ask the wrong questions about his past. Further, he happily lets people mistake him for a short human.
While he enjoys audience admiration, it doesn’t do anything for his sense of belonging. The Pathfinder Society seems as varied a calling as any in his search for purpose…
