@Varis: Cheers! As for health, I just update my HP on my tagline on Paizo.
Antal Firebug |
Being rocked back by the arrow hitting his lower chest. He tries to target a new goblin.
So with having a large dislike to the whip master. Antal targets the goblin (g) and fire an arrow at him.
Short bow attack on G: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
But his aim is off from the pain from the arrow.
Kalia Stonebreaker |
Kalia moves next to multiple enemies and then unleashes a primal roar.
Thunderclap: DC 13 Con Save or take: 1d6 ⇒ 3 Thunder damage. I'll shield vs. the first attack unless I kill them both.
Varis Matrel |
The bane drops off that orc when I switched to faerie fire btw. Actually I was debating healing anyone that needed it but I'm out of spells already.
Varis shouts at the assailants around Kalia cursing the hobgoblin near her (#5).

Aelwulf attack the Hobgoblin (#2) in front of him.
Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

The blow slides off his scalemail armour.

1d20 + 4 - 1d4 ⇒ (18) + 4 - (4) = 18 for 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Goblin C then climbs on the bank to engage the cleric
Aelwulf gets an AoO!
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 for 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
And cuts him down before he can reach his target!
Goblin E throws a glob of acid at the dwarf
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 disadvantage 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 for 1d6 ⇒ 2
but it goes wide.

@Helaman: It looks like Goblin B is in melee range of Iocundius. Wouldn't that give Goblin B disadvantage in firing ranged weapons?
Iocundius calls over to Aewulf:
"Aewulf, a fine stroke! More like that!"
The cleric then focuses, and the bell resumes tolling...
Toll the Bell on Goblin B. Wisdom Save DC 13
Can't recall if B is injured yet.
Necrotic Damage if injured: 1d12 ⇒ 7
Necrotic Damage if not injured: 1d8 ⇒ 2
Gaelden the Lost |
Stone’s Endurance: 1d12 ⇒ 7 The arrow failed to penetrate his thick skin.
Hit next closest, 2 I think: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Lost in a frenzy, he didn’t care who his target was. He laughed as he fought, swinging his bloody hammer wildly.

Yep. Thanks. Call out things like this. I thought it was only 5' of the target that did that but its ANYONE... which makes sense
Goblin B shoots the Barbarian1d20 + 4 - 1d4 for 1d6 + 2

Gaelden staggered under the hobgoblin’s blow, but he did not fall. Slowly the Goliath turned around, and flared at his attacker. Thanks to his physiology, he was completely unharmed by the attack. Eyes blazing, he swung his hammer back at the hobgoblin.
Antal Firebug |
Antalrock back from the arrow striking him.
"Two can play that game."
And with one swift motion he nocks a new arrow and fires it to the archer that struck him.

Gaeldon kills hobgoblin 2.
Antal, you took 5 points of damage earlier... (Friday Apr 3rd)... and you then took another hit for 7 recently... unless I missed some healing (possible) wouldn't you be unconcious? If there was healing you kill that guy with the bow. If not? You fell unconcious instead of shooting that enemy. BUT given you rolled a '20'? We can use that for a death save and bring you back at 1 HP - let me know

Barroom brawler makes me proficient with improvised weapons. Figure it would count
Rule of cool. Let's do normal full damage... 20/60 range... NORMALLY An object that bears no resemblance to a weapon deals 1d4 damage (the GM assigns a damage type appropriate to the object). If a character uses a ranged weapon to make a melee attack, or throws a melee weapon that does not have the thrown property, it also deals 1d4 damage. An improvised thrown weapon has a normal range of 20 feet and a long range of 60 feet. However again, let's just do full normal damage for the feat.
GM Helaman |
Iocundius kills the archer with a spell before Gaeldon can get to him... leaving the giant warrior to wade into the river... and hurl his warhammer at one of the hobgoblins engaging Kalia and caving the side of its skull in with an explosion of blood and brain.
Hobgoblin 5 makes a desperate effort to kill the dwarf... the winds of doom blowing across the river.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 for 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

With his hammer lodged into the head of a fallen foe, Gaelden was disarmed. That did not mean unarmed though. He charged headlong into the fray, using his fists as a weapon. Given his sheer size and strength, though, his bare hands were more dangerous than the weapons of most smaller combatants. His fist came down with enough force to dent steel plate.
GM Helaman |
[ooc]Lets move the story along... also is the dwarf still good?[ooc]
With the arrival of a mountain of raging muscle and armoured allies the goblins break and run, trying to form a rear guard for the fleeing, and scattered groups of females and goblin children.
You are left panting on the river bank... what you do now is up to you.
