Unfortunately, Druids have a pathetic spell list when it comes to combat. At least core druids do. It's either a situational spell like entangle, warp wood, or heat metal at that level, or you go with flaming sphere or flame blade. They do have some decent buff spells though.
How about produce flame?

Well, for some reason I thought it was a one shot fire missile that did 1d8. It's better than that, but will still only give a few attacks. Not impressive, but not useless and a lot more likely to come in handy that something like Faerie Fire. I think I'll start using it.

Alright, so as it looks like we will NOT be finished by Monday, I'll need to two things for everyone.

One, I will need everyone to make a couple of die rolls for boons below. Roll a d20 and a d3. A roll of a 19 or 20 on the d20 wins one of 3 lovely boons.

Second, I will need to know who would like to continue. At our current rate of posts we should be able to finish inside couple of weeks.

So roll, and lemme know.

Here comes the BOON! 1d20 ⇒ 151d3 ⇒ 2

My best guess:

" 'Crazy bard?' You mean the missie. I dunno. One minute I was reading a scroll I found, and the next it was all ripped to threads and flying all about like a tornaodo and there was this [foth?] talking to me about riddles and a countess or something to do with stuff that happened a long time ago. He was so interesting that it felt like I had to follow him. We wandered around the basement here. He was looking for something. Books on riddles, and the First World and such. He got mad when he didn't find any books about himself, and was always talking about how he was cheated out of something. Then we got to this room, and he read one of the scroll fragments and poof the missie and her daughters appeared. I wanted to go with him but he took his books and left. The next thing I know I'm locked up, and wet, and my teeth are all gone, and I'm being electrocuted. Seriously though, does your alligator bite? I don't feel very well." ... "Seriously, who are you anyway?"

I could be wrong on some words, and I failed my linguistics check on "foth", but that's the gist of it.

There aren't really any other "monsters" left in this dungeon aside from the ones you are talking to, so if the party wants they could just describe what they do for the next several minutes to find the errant slip of scroll.

Pau wrote:

Well, that depend on your definition of "solve". It is a choice though. You can certainly fight her. One of the other groups I'm running did that in a display of typical "Pathfinder diplomacy", and nearly earned themselves a half-party-kill. Admittedly, in comparison, they aren't all that good at fighting. ;)

Enough about this stupid Fox. Someone use their Confirmation Boon to see if turning him over to the Fish is detrimental to our Secondary and let's get this over already.

For a game that's centered around COOPERATION there hasn't been a whole lot of that this game.

Using Explore, Report, Cooperate Deluge determines that turning over the Fox to Mistress Koi is indeed one way to contribute to the party's secondary success conditions.

@GM: As for the answer to the riddle, do the players have to come up with it, or should our characters roll an intelligence check or something? Are the poem scraps in order (top to bottom, then left to right? How would we know?)?

@Everyone else:
Poem title: "The Name of the Fox"
Riddle's question: "Who is the last to dine?"

My guess is that the answer to the question is also the fox's name, but that could be way off. Maybe we should ask the fox what his name is, in case that helps us. (It's not a detail Yangrit would care about, but maybe Xusius would have enough compassion for the fox to ask?)

The thing I keep coming back to is the couplet right under the title. It seems like it's important somehow. That second line seems like a convoluted way of saying "Pretend you don't know any of the rest of this stuff." If that's the case, all the rest of the poem would be a bunch of red herrings, and the answer would have to be in the title or the first couplet, which only mentions one eater (the loser).

What do you guys think?

He doesn't believe in 'game balance'. Gandalf always lets him pass. As a feat, he has Exotic Weapon Proficiency (beard). The city guard often question him, just because they find him so interesting. His dice bag is woven from tarrasque leather. His TPKs end game lines. His blood cures moderate wounds. He once punched a flumph. Yes, you heard me. He belongs to a prestige class whose sole requirement for entry is just being him. ♬ He is indeed, the most interesting GM in the world. ♬

{Drags self in at 3 am after a work week that started at 4pm on July 6 and won't end until 11 pm on August 1st. Really? August already? Where does the time go? Opens thread. Reads. Blearily looks around thread just in case. Giggles to self}

No.

I realized that after generating them all before work, and placing them in my Google drive that I made a mistake on one of them, forgetting the character in question wasn't 'in tier'.
