Gunnz gets a good hit against Red in spite of Yellow having tried to interfere.
Looks like Bodyguard feat works against ranged attacks. I'm not sure if I want to think too hard about that...

Teddington easily hits Yellow as it is trying to defend the Jinsul. So does Princess Dh'Qa with her second shot, taking it down.

Desha expecting it to still be up, quickly changes her target to Red and fires. Her shot hits!

Green bites Jackojare again.

Red retreats down the path and then through the difficult underbrush to take up a position behind a broken wall. As it moves it gets out a different pistol. Pointing it straight up, it fires off a flare into the sky. That is going to attract some attention!

The flare has gone off. When you get to the Jinsul's bodies, you here clicking and such over the communicators. You would guess it is someone being asked to report in.

I don't believe any of you speak Jinsul.

My reading is that you can attempt both.
Glad Desha understands it. I would hate for all that Jinsul commentary to be a waste.

Distant Observation is Perception, Navigate Terrain is Survival. Which were you doing for gathering Intel Teddington?

Yup, I speak Jinsul. Unfortunate part is I'm not trained in Bluff, so it'll just be a raw Cha check for me! Gotta try it, I suppose.

Acting quickly, Desha moves to red's fallen form and grabs its communicator. After parsing out what the chatter on the line is about, she tries to respond to check and tell those on the other end that the flare gun had malfunctioned and fired on its own. No injuries to report, though.

I'm not great at these tasks so I'll just remain stationary.


Although Desha’s attempt at deceit doesn’t work, Teddington has no trouble hiding the bodies and signs of battle. Probably helps that they were doing weapons testing throughout the area.

Gunnz grabs themselves a new gun.

Desha and Gunnz are able to spot weak points in the jinsuls' earthworks and battle formations.

Teddington is able to map out some advantageous terrain in the area should it be needed.

First Seeker Elsebo pings each of your comm units with vital news. [b]"Starfinder agents have compiled reports detailing jinsul ground troop formations from a base camp on Agillae-2. Our strategists have devised a way to safely air-drop agents behind enemy lines in order to disrupt the jinsul infantry’s leadership. Given the high concentration of jinsul battalions on Bastiar-6, that seems the ideal place to strike.

The fleets begin to close in and shift once more, each compensating and reacting to the active battles below. The Starfinder Fleet rushes over to aid Callion-2 as the Jinsul Fleet continues to push back into Bastiar-6.

Table GMs, the Ground Force Intel mission is closed, and the Paratrooper Strike mission in Part 2 is now unlocked.

At this point, I'm leaning towards the Scanner Defense. I get the feeling that we'll be pretty effective at holding off enemies.


Another transmission alert comes across your screens. "Our pilots captured a jinsul ship and traced its flight coordinates to a secret command base hidden on Bastiar-3. The base is well defended, but destroying it will disable the jinsuls’ communications network. This mission calls for agents ready to storm jinsul defenses to win us a crucial advantage."

The Starfinder Fleet kicks on their thrusters rushing to Callion-2 as the Jinsul Fleet shifts further back into Bastiar-3

Table GMs, the Scout Hunt mission is closed, and the Trench Assault mission in Part 2 is now unlocked.

The effect of the Jinsul fleet changes by mission, but basically the mission is slightly more difficult because the Jinsul’s can call on their fleet for aid.
It isn’t a huge difference in difficulty. Honestly, I would complain about how poor the support was if I were on the Jinsul side. :)

We already completed the mission on Callion-2. That was the interrogation and fight against the demon-jinsuls. Let's see what our votes are like thus far:

Yes, you already completed the Scout Mission for Callion-2, but the house doesn’t have enough successes there yet to open the Action Mission for it.

The group currently has their choice of four missions.

One vote for Data hack to finish the scout missions. But happy to do any of them. Purchases a corona laser pistol (4270). Also an idaran force training baton for 400, selling her regular baton for 45.

"Think we have time for me to check into a medical bay while we are on route?" she asks.

Given my cash-on hand situation, that I keep getting hit, and don't hit that often, I'm thinking of upgrading my synaptic accelerators. It takes an our apply, so not sure if we can do it between missions' a bit. If it is okay, I'll upgrade my dex on to +4 and my con to +2. Total cost 6500
