By the strange logic of dreams unfortunately ones you cast in a flashback are gone in the waking world too.

Heads Up -- I will be traveling/visiting with family starting November 18th through December 2.
Traveling days I won't be able to post (driving cross-country), and I am not sure whether I will have time while visiting with family, so please feel free to either bot my character or put her on ice in the meantime.
Apologies for the extended absence. I'll be on mostly normally till Wednesday, so if you have questions/requests before I go, let me know.

I've been meaning to make a map for the town and haven't had time past few days. Will see if I can get something done tomorrow.
Yukarii
Sorry for the delay, I'll get something up sometime today or early tomorrow.
Zendara
Merry Christmas to you as well. :)
Edwin J. Whiskers, Esq.
I've finally managed to sign-in again. I had to delete my paizo cookies (chrome) and request a new password at the sign-in page.
Yukarii
I had to completely empty my history, cookies, active logins, and saved pages but it cleared the problem up and let me login again.
Zendara
Yeah, requesting a new password made it worse I think, at least for me... but thankfully, back. :)

Re destroying a phylactery the rules don't state exactly what happens when it's destroyed. They do state that if it's not a lich will just rejuvenate if killed. So my ruling is destroying a phylactery makes them vulnerable to being permanently killed but doesn't otherwise do anything.
Tired tonight will try to update in the morning.
Yukarii
That makes sense. Now we just need to help the demon get to the lich and then run away.

Okay, but I want to take stuff too if there is anything to take... I mean, super powerful wizard has to have some good stuff, right?
Edwin J. Whiskers, Esq.
For our last question, we could ask about the dark blob at the center of town (I think at 4).
Zendara
Go for it.
Yukarii
I believe I am waiting on a response from you/Marek.
Zendara
In terms of shopping... do we know what we have picked up so far? There are a lot of options going forward, but if we're going to buy something we have to know what we've got. I have written down that I have that bronze griffon statue, but I haven't been keeping a group loot list... can't remember if anyone has--?
As for other things... I think exploring all the things would be cool, and I'd also like to save the guy that's going to be executed if we can... maybe we could even do it without starting a fight if we offer to add him to our crew and take him away? Not sure... just throwing out ideas. What do you guys want to do here... or do you just want to resupply and leave?
Edwin J. Whiskers, Esq.
I haven't been keeping track what we've found.
Resupplying should be our first priority. We could explore the mine if we wanted, but it seems optional. Edwin is OK with trying to save the guy scheduled for execution (of course, we would be be jumping into a situation without knowing the facts behind it).
DM Fang Dragon
You've had a few items that are fairly expensive like that staff and a spell book.
Xindyra Brenna
Spellbook..... a wizard's was it not?
I'd like a look at it before we sell it. Copy some spells to formula list.
Zendara
Okay... Here is the loot list:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fSkHodeHt0nt7srbs3dccB7EEUOBlrDX_CA XibD9QRY/edit#gid=0
I haven't gone through it to decide what to sell yet... I just put together everything we found.
Assuming we can sell the armor and weapons that we picked up along the way, but there are also things we probably want to keep because they are useful, so not sure what we're going to be able to shop with. We never got the reward from catching the harbormaster... they said to leave a forwarding address, but now they are probably caught up in the war, so who knows if we will ever see that.
It was interesting to comb back through the adventure so far though. Hope we can get back to the Nautilus at some point... we left so many things undone there.
Zendara
It's because it put a space in it. Use the "Loot" link in my tagline. That should work. :)
DM Fang Dragon
You might want to consider setting the sharing settings so everyone with the link can view.
Zendara
Thought I already had, sorry. Please try again and let me know if it is still screwing up. If so, I'll just post the list.
Zendara
Okay, I put prices on the things that I could look up.
There are about 6,000 gold worth of things I know we can sell, but there are some big-ticket items that I am not sure whether we want to sell. Some could be good for the group to keep instead. Also, things that Dr. Munroe probably wants to research, or that we could only sell to a collector.
Thoughts?

I had taken the +1 rapier when we found it.
Perhaps sell the mundane items for certain, and ask Dr. Munroe what items he'd like to keep for his expedition goals.
Shameless advertising alert, will arrange for snacks & drinks at the Dawntreader:
If anyone has ever played the Might & Magic franchise, by New World Computing, i am going to run a campaign within that setting.
A homebrew of one of their Might & Magic games' setting, with a Kingmaker lite flair included.
Link recruitment thread.
Zendara
Okay, put your name on it... thanks for letting me know.
I am not familiar with Might and Magic, but I think it would be fun to play something you are DMing. I'll see if I can come up with something to submit, and read up on the setting.
Oh, and once again I screwed up... the loot sheet is now editable, so you can add your name to something if you want, or add prices in there if you know them. Sorry about that if anyone was trying.
Zendara
Okay, with selling the Ring of the Ram, which no one has claimed, and no other high price item (we could also sell the Blessed Book, but wasn't sure if that was too valuable to the spellcasters to sell?), the distribution is
2317 gold and 5 silver each.
Write it on your sheets. I moved the sold stuff to a different tab.
Now we can shop.
Yukarii
So I've been waiting to see if I get any response from the spirit.

Okay, let's see about extracts i'd like to copy.
Lvl 1: Endure elements, Expeditious retreat
Lvl 2: Alchemical allocation, Barkskin, Cat's Grace, False life, Resist Energy, See invisibility.
Lvl 1 = 20gp
Lvl 2 = 240gp
A potion of heroism, if available? 750gp
I am wondering, how much would upgrading the rapier to a Keen rapier be?
Keen requires a weapon to be +1, which the rapier already is.
Does it cost the next +1 tier, minus current value?
(8000 for a +2 weapon, minus 2320 gp of current +1, > 5680 gp)
What is the chance of higher level items that particular day?
DM Fang Dragon
Keen weapon: 70% chance: 1d100 ⇒ 19 <--- NO
Potion of heroism: 70% chance: 1d100 ⇒ 32 <--- YES
DM Fang Dragon
Will try and get a reply up tomorrow. Did my round of posts and realised it's now super late.
DM Fang Dragon
The execution is scheduled for noon although these things sometimes run a bit late.
DM Fang Dragon
The execution is scheduled for today. It's about 8am so you have time just about to get everything done.
Edwin J. Whiskers, Esq.
Except that our meeting about the food supplies isn't until after the execution, correct? So we would have to leave before re-supplying, which sounds like a bad idea. Am I misunderstanding something here?
Yukarii
It seems that we will need to try and arrange for the food earlier than expected. We may also need to split in order to take care of the doll and notifying the man's family of what happened to him last night. Yukarii will insist on going to do that, even if she has to go alone.
Zendara
We could consider just killing the freaking pirate that is trying to kill the boy in the first place. Someone else in his gang will likely step in, but that should clear up his "personal" issues with his daughter, and free us from long-term danger with them hunting us. Or, if his daughter is his heir, we might be a lot more free and clear than that.
Zendara
true... i mean we could do a lot of things, joining with a different gang, or allying with the next person in power or whatever, but we could also leave without saving the boy. Just depends on what you guys want to do. I'd rather be a hero and save the young couple, but our valiant anti-war efforts didn't do anything at all to avert a war apparently, and we just got run off of the interesting ship before we could get the technological feat or whatever else was there, and we haven't even gotten close to the "main" event where we were supposedly heading, so I'm definitely not saying it is the "right" thing to do... just another option that likely won't make a difference in the overall world, except to those few NPCs. :)

How about framing another gang? Or the military even?
Disguise self and try a ranged hit. Maybe they'd weaken each other.

Yes this basically you need to twist some arms, can be done with decent RP and/or diplomacy check.
