What condition are the doors in? Can she secure them?
[dice=disable device]1d20+11 - to secure the doors from things outside but not completely block their exit
The doors have fallen from their hinges and lean drunkenly against the walls... in theory you could secure them, if you used, say, an hour of your time and a decent chunk of the materials you bought for the travois to carry the subdued Kamadan to lift them back to their approximate places and then secure them together.
As you made your way back to the entrance, this time with Baran's conjured lights to banish the clinging shadows, you were almost blinded by light reflecting from spire of the Glass Tower that had impaled the Hall, forming a new curved, green, glimmering east wall to the entry hall. Somehow, the spire had indeed survived the fall and its impact almost intact - while the outer shell had sheared off, covering the ground near the spire with a glittering field of razor-sharp fragments almost a foot deep in places, the wall still seemed structurally sound, with nothing larger than hairline cracks in sight.
The squares closest to the spire wall are hazardous terrain - shown fairly clearly on the map. The hall tot he south is clear (clear enough not to require rolls or risk taking damage to walk through), and there are three doors to choose from. The one on the west side (assuming north is up as usual) is slightly ajar.

Baran 'Elmswright |

The young boy breathed heavily, weighted by excitement. The teamwork and viciousness of his new friends had him thoroughly impressed. Then everyone was already moving into the building. He looked up to his little orrery as it pinwheeled slowly and boasted,"Come sun. Follow moon and stars. We have more wonders to show you." At that, Baran's oration ended and he fled into the building.
Once she was certain that no one would be able to easily follow them in, she turned to Baran. "Based on what you've read about the kamadan, any thoughts on where to start looking for it?"
She reached for her quiver, "I guess here is as good a place as any to add the tranquilizer to the weapons. Unless you guys think it'll take us more than an hour to find the thing."

Baran followed the team with his rapier drawn. He padded behind like he was entering a revered tomb, "I was researching very quickly and only found that short entry ... but we know the kamadan is a predator and it must be used to the ancient ruins swallowed by overgrown jungle and to vast mist covered mountains. I would be particularly watchful wherever we see nature reasserting itself." After a few moments in thought, "It's also a good bet that anyplace you yourself think is good cover would be a good place for the kamadan ... except, I think they're ... big." His last word came out with unnerving ambiguousness.
Kirsdrake |

To get a sense of what Baran knows about the geography of Xen'drik?
Well...
The island/continent of Xen'drik is a massive landmass south of the continent of Khorvaire, beyond Shargon's Teeth and the Thunder Sea. Around the end of the Last War, explorers sponsored by the Four Nations began to explore the land in hopes of making profit from the numerous relics found there among vast natural resources. Jungles dominate the north-east of the continent. Deserts cover most of the north-west of the continent. The mountains are scattered throughout the continent, but are most extensive near the border of the icy waste. Along the southern coast is the icy waste.
The kamadan was equally at home in the jungle and the rocky, mountainous terrain as you learned earlier.
As a fun fact, something people have taken to calling the Traveler's Curse after the capacious god affects both time and space on Xen'drik in sone random and unpredictable way. The effect is that adventurers will find that maps sometimes fail them - as if distances stretch and constrict or parts of the continent move around on their own... or people get teleported around without their knowing. On the positive side, sometimes the curse will cause a person to arrive where they need to be earlier than they anticipated. Or even better, the curse can cause a treasure seeker to find an unexplored ruin filled with treasure. No one knows what causes the curse. Interesting, it has less effect on natives to Xen'drik, like they have got some built-in resistance spending all their lives on the mysterious continent. Not that it's likely to be relevant to you here in Sharn :-)

Phin the Raccoon |

Phin's heart sank as she realized that the doors were beyond repair or use. There was no way that she was going to be able to make sure no one followed them through the doors. She could only hope that the litter of Raver bodies outside would be enough of a deterrent to keep everyone else away.
Phin stood in awestruck wonder at the glittering wall that the fallen Spire had formed. The wall that the coloured glass glittered as Baran's lights danced was mesmerizing. A small smile formed as she thought of all types of shiny things. The rogue was fairly certain that the next time she was lucky enough to sleep that she would be dreaming of emeralds.
"I was researching very quickly and only found that short entry ... but we know the kamadan is a predator and it must be used to the ancient ruins swallowed by overgrown jungle and to vast mist covered mountains. I would be particularly watchful wherever we see nature reasserting itself." After a few moments in thought, "It's also a good bet that anyplace you yourself think is good cover would be a good place for the kamadan ... except, I think they're ... big." His last word came out with unnerving ambiguousness.
Phin nodded, deferring to Baran's studying abilities, "Alright then. Considering this whole place is good cover for hiding maybe we should get the tranquilizer on the weapons now. At least there are only two directions we can go." The elf relied on her acute senses to try to determine if she could hear anything of interest in either direction.

Alua Riversong |

Alua gazed in awe at the spire fragment. Sister to the one lodged in he temple's roof, this one was close enough to touch. Assuming you wanted to risk shredding your legs.
Moving close to the shattered glad, Alua looked carefully for blood or signs of passage. (Perception please)
"How should we divvy up the tranquilizer? Should I take enough for one bolt? Or leave it for the better shots?" She looked at Phin and Baran.

Alua, Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
You examined the glass fragments covering the floor, careful not to step on the shards yourself, and noted that there were dark stains here and there that could very well be blood... but those traces seemed well dried, suggesting whoever had been unwary enough to walk over the shards hadn't done so recently.
So, the heroes boldly go... to which of the three doors (one of this isn't fully closed) available?

Erix Thorn |

"Don't worry about me. We find this thing, my job is to keep it busy." Erix grunted "And we damned well better find it fast. I only brought enough medicine for a little bit longer."
Despite his time in the wilderness Erix had never really shown any talent at hunting. "Someone has to carry the food home" his trainers had reassured him, and suggested to make sure he always carried extra food. Still, he had been trained, and he racked his memory for techniques.

Phin the Raccoon |

Phin halted the others. She could tell by the look on Erix's face that he heard it too. "Not screamy enough for Ravers, not animal enough to be the kamadan. What do you think it is? Nothing good, I'd wager."
She pushed to the front, "I'll quietly check it out. Be ready to rush in as my saviours if you hear sounds of distress."
The elf pointed at Baran's lights, "Can you direct those closer to the door, but not inside, so that I can see better in the dim light?" Phin crept forward and then peeked through the doorway before inching her way inside making sure she kept to shadows along the wall.

With rays of Baran's conjured light shining through the door, Phin could just about make out the room as she squeezed through the partially open door into what had once been a grand feasting hall, large enough to a dozen quests in comfort. Now, it appeared to be a prime hunting ground for rats and other vermin... as well as the larder for the Hall's latest residents. Benches and tabled have been knocked over, some broken up for kindling. Along the outer walls of the room, bodies in various stages of butchery have been carelessly piled, and on the one surviving table, a body that may have been one of the Ravers was in the process of being cut up for meat. At the south-east corner of the room Phin could see one body that had been wrapped up in ropes, bound with lack of skill but with a clear "more is better" attitude that seemed to get the job done just as well. It was hard to be sure in the partially-lit gloom, but she thought that body might still be moving...
She didn't have time to worry about that matter for the moment, though, as she realized she had just stepped between two enemies who had been lurking in the darkness, patiently waiting for the voices they had heard speaking to come to them, instead of following the blind rush of their comrades who had opted to go out to meet the intruders. Phin noticed the presence of the two enemies at the last moment, when one down-swinging club swung into the light, but by then it was too late for anything but the most desperate of dodges.
So... two Ravers were hidden, one either side of the door, readying an attack to hit anyone who entered, so they go first. Phin's stealth check doesn't matter, unfortunately, as they was nothing in her to hide beside shadows while going through the door, and there ARE no shadows here for people with Darkvision, so she was in plain sight without realizing. She spotted the Ravers just before they attacked, though, and her Staggering Reflexes means she kept her Dex bonus to AC... which means the first Raver just missed, even with flanking bonuses. Which, considering the damage, was a Good Thing.
Raver 1 vs Phin, to hit: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 3 + 2 = 12
Raver 2 vs Phin, to hit: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 3 + 2 = 24
Raver 2 vs Phin, damage: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Caught between two surprise attacks, the dancer nevertheless managed to twist out of the way of one murderous greatclub, watching the heavy block of wood pass her nose close enough to touch on its way to smash on the stone floor. But to dodge one attack she had to react solely to that, and thus the other club, this one swinging horizontally, caught her just below her lowest ribs, blasting all the air from her lungs.
Initiative, Ravers: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Initiative, Lupi: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Initiative, Phin: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
And then the combat resumes again... Everyone but Alua may act, including Lupi, if you figure out what you can do bound and gagged. At least this situation gives you plenty of material to react with thoughts if not with actions ;^)

Erix Thorn |

Erix pondered the nature of compromise - ['i]Bloody stupid compromises'[/i]. Travelling through this area it was as likely that they would be attacked from the front as from the back. It was only logical that with Phin as scout it made sense to put their 'archer' up front - he could fire, then fall back. When he fell back someone would have to step forward. Conversely should they be attacked from the rear Alua was capable of withstanding an attack long enough for someone else to come to her aid. Logically, then, having Erix as reserve in the middle of their makeshift formation was an excellent compromise. 'I still don't like it. I'd rather pick something and commit'
His musings were brought to an abrupt halt as Phin ducked, and the section of floor she had been standing on ceased to be.
"Go!" he yelled, barreling past Baran with the intent of drawing attacks away from the fragile Phin. "Move your wrinkled ass, Phin!"
Moving through. Plan is to move past both of the Ravers (both should get an AoO) then hang right. Hopefully that'll tangle them long enough (lacking combat reflexes) for the more venerable and fragile members of the team to get a flanking position. Once in position he'll stab the Raver to the right.
@Phin: if the aged joke is inappropriate I'm happy to lose it.

By the way - and this is a completely hypothetical question with no game impact whatsoever (mwahahahaaa-ahem-*insert low-key evil chuckle*)… what exactly are you doing with the travois materials? Granted, you did have some time to see to it the materials were packed with transport in mind, but every image I have of a travois does come with long wooden poles, and poles needed a 9’ long, 500lbs feline need to be somewhat on the long and thick side, and add to that all the other parts (rope, wire, canvas, crossbeams, whatever) you do have a decently large package. So to avoid the poles from getting caught in hallway walls or the ceiling, you pretty much have to carry it under your arm, or perhaps with handles like a medieval sports pack. So… who’s carrying it around again, or have you abandoned it somewhere and intend to come back for it if and when it is needed?

Baran 'Elmswright |

The elf pointed at Baran's lights, "Can you direct those closer to the door, but not inside, so that I can see better in the dim light?" Phin crept forward and then peeked through the doorway before inching her way inside making sure she kept to shadows along the wall.
Baran Nodded and stepped forward. "As the celestial lights came into alignment the moon and stars bowed in deference to their great matriarch, the sun." The four lights formed a straight line, each light was five feet from another, and the moon and two stars descended making the line a downward diagonal. A shaft of light entered the room preceding Phin.
re-uping the spell as well so that we are at the start of another minute-------
Erix breezed past the boy like a charging bull. Baran, hearing the noise and seeing strange brutish silhouettes leap on Phin, yelled, "Oh luminaries! Don't shy from the sight of bloodshed.", the four lights rushed into the room and circled rapidly over the skirmish, "Watch in earnest as the wild speed of our stalking ghost, the knotted fists of our steely pugilist, and the strange favour of our haunting leader are wed. Forgive this humble servant's little narration so that others might know their strength!"
editHe then ran into the room trying to clear the skirmish.
AoO from the other as he has to move through a friendly space - going 15' into the room
standard action to start up 'inspire courage' again +1 vs charm and fear, +1 to weapon to hit and damage
With the course of events outside leading from one attack to another, it makes sense that we left the materials behind rubble before we attacked the first guard. I don't think we have hidden it as much as tucked it away. I differ to the rest of the team.

Phin the Raccoon |

Ouchies
@Erix - no worries about the age joke...I laughed when I read it :)
Phin sensed something was wrong before she actually knew what was happening. Thankfully her body was able to avoid the initial blow or else she would be lying in a pool of blood and probably on the menu for that night's dinner. These Ravers were obviously smarter than the previous ones they had encountered since they had been lying in wait. Their plan would have worked had she been slower on her feet.
She cried out to alert the others and tried to call out positions of the Ravers so that the others would be prepared. But her words abruptly died off as the second club connected with her side. Pain radiated throughout her body reminding her that she was now fighting for her life. She heard Erix telling her to move but she only moved enough to get into a better position to attack. She lashed out with both weapons making sure that if this was the last thing she would do in this life that she would make it count.

Alua Riversong |

(I also assumed that the materials are stashed outside)
Hearing more than seeing the blow Phin took, Alua winced in sympathy. Running to her friend's side, she called upon the spirits to mend the worst of her hurts. (Clw please)

Harakani |

well, damn. Good catch!
Turns out I didn't really know how a travois works. If it can be carried in one hand (in a sort of bundle) and dropped whenever combat breaks out I could see him carrying it horizontally,
BUT I've certainly not been describing Erix carrying the equivalent of a tent, so I'll echo the "we left it behind". I feel like he could probably move okay with it strapped to his back in the outside (he does normally carry a polearm when travelling like this, and he's got -2 ACP) but would have dropped it just inside the entrance.

Kirsdrake |

Erix charges in and eats the AoOs from both enemies, then he and Phin together finish the flanked one, leaving the other to attack, and since Erix moved into a flank (or at least where flanking would be possible if Phin moved), it means Phin is the only target in reach.

Raver 1 AoO , damage: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Raver 2 AoO vs Erix, to hit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Erix's rush past the Ravers almost caught them off guard, but one of them still had the presence of mind to bash the brawler on the small of his back with his crude but heavy club as he passed. Their good fortune in combat seemed to end there, as Erix and Phin once again double-teamed their opponent, slashing and stabbing with their light blades from front and back. The tactic proved just as effective this time than it had during their previous encounter, and one of the half-mad natives dropped to lie in a pool of his own blood.
Raver 1 vs Phin, to hit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Seeing his companion fall, the remaining Raver did his best to exact revenge, coming close to smashing Phin’s toes to pulp as the dancer lithely dodged the heavy blow that had meant to cave in her head.
Right, everyone up. Only one enemy remains… for now.

Phin the Raccoon |

Another down, one more to go. Phin attempted to grin but it looked more like.a grimace as her movements amplified the pain. "You only wish you could move as well as my wrinkled ass, Cub."
The rogue struck out again somewhat in desperation as she realized she was the sole focus of the remaining Raver. If they couldn't bring him down now then she'd most likely not make it.

But violence was met with violence. These foes took night blackened steel and hands like hammer blows ... and but a little help from yours truly."
Baran rushed to the far side of Phin and with his drawn rapier attempted to make some little difference.

That doesn't quite do the job, but Erix has a chance to finish the fight - the Raver is down to single-digit HP. Also, a reminder... like Fabian did, I'd greatly prefer for you to write in a bit about the effect (or the lack of) of your attacks when at all possible. I have provided you with the enemy ACs so, barring some unanticipated modifiers, you do know if your attacks will hit or miss.

Baran 'Elmswright |

Gotcha'
He aimed to perforate its' upper bowl trying to launch the thin blade tip just below the Raver's stomach. His aim was true but his choice was off for the ferocious cretan still barely stood, and the wound produced the most foul smell known to civilization.

Baran 'Elmswright |

Just tryin' to keep things colourful >:]
Lupi? Your title says 'Grand Goblin' but your by-line says 'female ELF wizard'. Do we see a goblin tied up or an elf? Or is there simply too much roep to tell. I think, so far, you've only been described as a body.

Erix felt something crack in his back, and pain shot through his spine. Stumbling he struggled to maintain balance, but even breathing hurt.

Holding his breath he threw himself at the remaining Raver, uncaring of his own defence. The Raver thrust his own weapon forward, and Erix slipped to the side, blade hidden behind his shield.
The shield deflected the club, Erix slipped in the viscera let behind by Baran's attack, and the sword came down on the Raver with Erix's full weight. Both men fell to the ground, but only Erix moved. As he groaned and rolled over it could be seem the Raver was bisected from left shoulder to right hip.

Kirsdrake |

Right, that does it. These two did their fallen comrades proud - unlike the, what 7 Ravers who you killed until now? who only got in a single strike, these ones managed two strikes total! Well done, minions!
I think I'll write up a new turn summary shortly, but that's not happening today. So feel free to patch yourselves up, and figure out what to do with one extremely-throughoutly tied but still living elven lass in the corner. Have fun RPing!
Lupi, the Ravers disarmed you before tying you up in the simples possible way - they stripped you of both gear and clothes (your stuff is lying in a couple heaps around the room - they weren't very interested in what you had - the spellbook and scrolls were in highest demands, but only as kindling and they haven't been used for that purpose yet. Your dagger is on one of these two recently-slain Ravers. And while you are lying there in your unmentionables, the sheer amount of rope wrapped around you means you are almost decent.
For anyone inspecting the stranger for damage, it's obvious she's suffered a series of head injuries that are somewhat severe but in the way of many head wounds they look ever worse than they actually are (regards to bleeding and such). But she has taken a nasty blow to the head from something hard and sharp, and then whenever she's shown signs of waking up someone's whacked her with a club to make her take another nap.
Anyway, have fun making your introductions once someone gets to ungagging and unwrapping you. And while it often takes a bit of time for a new character's personality to fully develop, it's good to give the others a comprehensive mental picture of your character in the intro post - just think I'm paying you by the words written ;^)

Seeing Phin's injuries only partially close, Alua kept her hands on the injured abdomen and concentrated. Healing energy, coming straight from her, continued to do the job until the elf's injuries were completely healed.
Erix was another matter. As he lay for a moment in a puddle of...what IS that?...filth, Alua crouched beside him. "Just a moment, don't wriggle, you'll make it worse." Again, she laid her hands on the warrior's back, and called up on the local spirits to help her mend the damage there. Soon he was moving more freely, and she stood and gave him a hand up.
As they hadn't yet been attacked by more Ravers, or a snake-cat, Alua allowed herself to turn to the moaning pile of ropes. "Oh, you poor thing!" she cried, once she got a good look at the half-naked elf inexpertly tied up and caked in blood. Quickly kneeling by her, she pulled the gag from her mouth, and placed her hands over the injury on her head. The wounds stitched back together, the contusions clearing up, though it didn't do anything for the blood everywhere.
Pulling out her dagger, she began to cut away at the ropes. "Phin, can you find anything to help cover her up?"

Kirsdrake |

Aye, she's a bit of an oddball but we do have a history of some colorful characters :-) (A baker without sense of taste or smell, poetry construction with mechanical precision and a total lack of imagination...) My personal take is that its more of a case of her DECIDING that she's a goblin, contrary to all evidence, considering she's quite the smart one after all, easily able to see all the problems of the claim if she only wanted to. But you are free to make your own judgements once you get properly interacting :-)

Phin the Raccoon |

Phin smiled gratefully at Alua and then took a deep breath now that she could with her injuries fully healed. "My thanks to you and your spirits, Alua." She gave her head a shake, "I can't believe I made such a rookie mistake, assuming we had already gotten them all. Nearly lost my head because of it."
The rogue stretched out the last kinks, her eyes falling on the mass of wriggling rope along the wall. "I guess we should see if they were worth the trouble of me nearly dying."
"Phin, can you find anything to help cover her up?"
Phin left the bedside manner to Alua and started looking around at what the Raver's thought was worth stealing. She easily found a pile of gear and pulled out what looked like a robe. "Either she's got some book learning like the new guy or she was kidnapped out of the bath. Regardless, this should do it." The elf walked the gear over to the now freed captive. She laid the gear at their feet and handed over the robe so she could cover herself. "You alone? You got a name? What are you doing down here?"

the Grand Goblin |

Simplified, Lupi is an elf, but was raised by goblin's and she thinks she is a goblin. By her appearance, short, bigger ears and green tinge on skin, an observer might consider she is not an elf... well goblin is a bit stretch, but possible.
When Alua took the gag off Lupi took a deep breath and was able to cough out "Thanks... I'm Lupi... Lupi the Grand Goblin" and gave Alua a smile.
"Someone, who heals others, is never fully a bad person, that's what the goblin clerics in the temple of Dol Dorn said", Lupi thought, "but I'm still not sure about the elf..."
Looking at Phin she continued more carefully with a low and weak voice "Alone... I don't know... I haven't seen anybody else alive after I was knocked out in battle... We were carrying the big cat here, when they attacked"
Suddenly realising this group is not here to rescue her, she turned back to Alua "Wait, what are you doing here? You weren't here to rescue people?"

Sense motive to see through Baran's bluff: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 Lupi glimsed towards Baran. "Is he staring at me? He is. Strange... Goblins never really showed any interest..." She paused just a bit and then continued dressing up.

Phin the Raccoon |

"Wait, what are you doing here? You weren't here to rescue people?"
Phin's chuckle dripped with cynicism, "We're here to obtain the big cat. Apparently it's valuable and people aren't. Those on the original mission were considered expendable by the one who hired us."
The rogue used her foot to poke through the contents strewn on the floor while Baran and Lupi chatted further in another language. She didn't quite care until she heard her name. "Alright, that's enough fun. The polite thing to do is speak a language everyone understands and not talk about someone when they're standing right here."
Turning to Alua she asked, "Now what?"

Alua Riversong |

Alua watched the new girl with curiosity. As Baran switched languages to talk to her, the oracle's eyebrows went up in surprise. "Is that Goblin? You both speak Goblin? What an odd language to learn."
When talk switched to the kamadan, she asked, "Do you have any idea where the kamadan is now? Still in this building? We need to recapture it."
Assuming Lupi doesn't know where it is...
Looking back into the hallway, Alua listened hard.
perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Hearing nothing, she moved to the north-most door on the other side of the hallway. "Might as well be methodical about it." She tested the door to see if it was locked. Will open it if unlocked, otherwise, get Phin to open it.

the Grand Goblin |

A bit embarrassed, Lupi changed back to common: "Sorry... Goblin is my mother tongue, although I never knew my mother. It is a beautiful and ancient language... um, never mind ...so I was expendable too..." she continued with sadness and a bit of anger.
Presuming Lupi's knowledge checks were good enough to get the names for Ravers and Kamadan.
"Thanks for helping me out. I don't know where the kamadan is. The last I saw it at the beginning of the Raver attack it was still in its cage. If the Ravers have not eaten it, it is likely somewhere around here. I think it would likely just try to hide after all it has been through, drugged and all.", Lupi continued, "wait... Phin said obtain... that means you want to get it alive!?"
@Phin: Lupi has a slight tinge on her skin, she does not use cosmetics at all.
Looking at Alua listening and looking back at hallway, Lupi did the same
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 Nothing, phew :)
" Just a minute, I need to put my armor on, "Mage Armor", and get Magic Missiles memorized." Lupi starts mumbling by herself.
@kirsdrake Changing Unseen Servant and Heightened Awareness to Magic Missiles.

A few points... the transport team's (of which Lupi was part of) broken cart, already partially salvaged for firewood, laid on the street by the Hall. You didn't spend much thought inspecting it, but the wreckage included the cage that had held the beast (covered by a tarp so people seeing the procession wouldn't see what they were carrying, and the guards were there to discourage anyone from trying to peek under the covering).
Lupi doesn't know anything more about the Ravers that I haven't mentioned already (strange tribe/clan/gang, or rather a number of such, very territorial, persistent rumors about their connection to the Day of Crystalfall, other rumors about Sharn "losing" the more troublesome patients from its asylums on Fallen and that the loonies joined forces with the Ravers). Kamadan are magical beasts so figuring out things about them takes a knowledge Arcane roll, but you have already gleaned pretty much everything useful due to Baran's efforts.
Also, I think this has been mentioned before, but goblins in particular and goblinoid races in general aren't quite the stock evil-guy monsters in Eberron that they are in many other settings. Before mankind made its way to Khorvaire, the Dhakaani Empire had already rules supreme for 10000 years, reaching quite the dizzying heights of cultural and architectural achievements despite the militant nature of the realm, until their war with the madness of Xoriat broke the Empire... even though in principle they did win, binding or banishing the great Daelkyr lords from the mortal realm with the help of orcish Gatekeeper druids and their magic. Not that the common people know - or care - about this. In Sharn, goblins are still seen as little more than pests, certainly not citizens with rights.

Phin the Raccoon |

"Sorry... Goblin is my mother tongue, although I never knew my mother. It is a beautiful and ancient language... um, never mind ...so I was expendable too..."
Phin got a faraway look in her eyes for a moment before saying, "If only I were so lucky, to not know my mother that is." The elf studied the woman for a moment, "And here I thought you were just looking a little green around the gills because of what you've been through but I guess you aren't sick after all."
that means you want to get it alive!?
Phin nodded, That's our assignment. Recapture what was lost and bring it to our employer. So were you part of the crew that originally obtained the kamadan? Your experience of how it was captured initially would be valuable in helping us do it now."
"Might as well be methodical about it."
Phin stowed her blades and prepped her shortbow. "Alright, I'll be ready when we find it but maybe I shouldn't be going first using a ranged weapon."
Following Alua's lead, the elf listened for any sound that may give them a clue as to which direction to head.
perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Now would be a good time to apply the tranquilizer since I don't think we've actually had time to do it yet.

Hearing nothing, she moved to the north-most door on the other side of the hallway. "Might as well be methodical about it." She tested the door to see if it was locked. Will open it if unlocked, otherwise, get Phin to open it.
Alua opened the door carefully, wary of another ambush, but the room held no dangers. All that was left of a once grand library's shelves were torn paper and ripped bindings, either rotting into pulp or converted into nests by an army of industrious rats.

the Grand Goblin |

Thanks kirsdrake
Lupi thinks, "I would give anything to know my goblin mother, or even her name. Phin would not like to know her mother at all. Maybe it is not easy to be an elf after all. Lucky me, as I was born as a goblin."
Lupi replies: "Umm no... We did not capture the Kamadan. We were just transporting the drugged beast. I guess somebody did capture it, I presume it is from Xen´drik, but I don't know how it was captured. Are we trying to drug it somehow again?" Lupi sounds doubtful, the beast is quite large and intimidating. "I can throw a dagger, but I am not expert on it."
