Dragh Goldenoak |

In the Shady Dragon Inn
"How much does one have to pay to be tasked with visiting inns for a living?!"
The younger dwarf responds:
"It sounds better than it sounds. It is mostly traveling and talking with people. But it sure sounds exciting I sure remember my reaction when I was asked to do this. A few months in my excitement dwindled."He smiles recalling something. Then he turns to Giggett:
"How about you Mistress Giggett? Why are you here and what is the purpose of your journey?"
I googled a bit as English is not my native language and a female version for Master was Mistress. Now it has a different meaning but I will roll with it.
With the caravan
Dragh keeps up to his word and brings a cask of gale for the trip. He travels with a stick a bit longer than himself with a crossbow on his back. On top of his regular clothes, he carries fingerless gloves and a coat. During the journey he keeps his hair and beard braided at all times.
When asked about being a wizard, he thinks a bit before answering:
"It is true, there are not a lot of dwarfs among wizards. I think the best answer that I can give you Master Archilus is that I was looking for my own path. My brothers, sisters, and cousins are miners, crafters, brewers, fighters or merchants and many more. I wanted something of my own, not very common though among my clan if you ask. How about you Master Archilus? Why a career of a cleric of Asmodeus and why are you not in Cheliax? I could imagine there are more opportunities on that side of the border. "

Tamerius Archilus |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Why I'm a cleric? It's all due to what Dwarf call tradition and we call Contract. My family has a contract and every third child of the family must be given to the Church of Asmodeus.
Strangely, since that contract was signed, it always have been a third child... says Tamerius with a smile. My ancestors were clever I suppose.
He stays silent one moment before adding As for my presence here, as a third son I have no hope for the family fortune and I have a cousin that live in Almas as a Lawyer. My father thought that if this cousin was able to live in Almas he's was a good lawyer and I could learn a lot from him.
He send me there as a way to learn a lot.

Giggett |

(Mistress is perfectly ok in this situation)
Giggett smiles to Dragh before answering:
"Well, you know my condition?"
(In my opinion, anyone Trained in Society knows precisely what the Bleaching is. For commoners, there may be misinformation and errors... so you choose what your character knows about it)
Without waiting for an answer, she continues:
"There's not much cure to the Bleaching. We know that excitment keeps it away from us. But as soon as it's started... So, I'm looking for some extreme experiences, and I thought that adventuring was such an experience. I hope I'm not making a mistake, but at my stage there's not much I can do anyway..."
Giggett pauses and you can feel she calms down a little, her voice loses its high pitch and her gesture is now more quiet.
"Recently, I found a job for an organization. The Pathfinder Society, it's quite big maybe you know about it. They were looking for people here in Elidir for a mission of theirs. I made a quick application, and I was soon in the mountains with a bunch of strange fellows: A goblin, a cleric of Nethys, some martial artist, a rageous Ulfen and a... proud and charismatic dwarf, definitely the leader of our band."
Giggett smiles to Bort and Dragh.
"It's been a funny trip. A bit of scary moments, rageous combats and some laughs. So I've decided to make a more formal application to this organization. I'm going to Absalom, where their headquarters are located. I hope the life of a Pathfinder will be thrilling enough to sustain me for a few years. Fingers crossed."
With a smile, Giggett crosses her fingers and knocks the table with her other hand. And then her smile fades away...
Also, Giggett avoids speaking directly to Tamerius nor reacting to what he says. Nothing agressive, it seems that she just respects her desire not to interact with her.
------------------------
About our trip, Giggett will speak to a lot of people and try to work the minimum she can. She avoids anything she finds a burden, like loading stuff into the carts or preparing food. While everyone prepares the camp during the evening, she always tries to make a small scouting tour in the area to find if there's nothing wrong or dangerous (and mostly to avoid preparing camp). She's very good at showing she's at work and avoiding the half-orc's gaze.

GM Wayfinder |

The evening at the Shady Dragon Inn went on a bit late, but not too late.
You talked, shared tales, some explained why they were off to Almas to become lawyers, and all shared some ale, and discussed wanting to try gale.
You are all having a fine time, and were headed for an all-nighter--
--when Tamli Grent came in, and just stood a few feet behind Bort, without a word.
A few minutes of fidgeting later, Bort stood up, paid for the drinks, and, with a big smile and open arms, declared that it was time to get a good night's rest, and that the four passengers-new workers should: "Gather your things and meet us at the wagons, just south of the market square, we leave just before day-break."
Tamli gave you all a cold stare, obviously not thinking you'll be of much help, and exited.
...
The next morning, shivering a bit in the pre-dawn darkness, you all arrive and see the six caravans, meet the people who have maybe not yet seen - Cooky, with whom you will be sharing the tail-wagon ; and the three teamsters, Glunda and Old & Ulf -.
Under Tamli's direction, the caravan is off, and you start moving out of Elidir, before the city awakes, passing bakeries where the smell of bread cooking makes your stomachs grumble, and then passing the city boundary, where the guards wave to Bort.
You are off!
The sunlight is starting to turn the eastern skyline blue, chasing the darkness from the horizon.
Bort joyfully calls out: "First stop, Etran's Folly, in four days!"
Tamli snaps: "First step, make sure the wagons are well hitched, the bales and bundles are well secured!"

Giggett |

Are there moments when Tamli is not working and bossing everyone around? During pauses, maybe? Giggett would really like to have a quick chat with her. Or maybe the other way around, Giggett can "create a moment" for Tamli to speak with her. Like voluntaring to attach the carts but making slightly wrong knots and waiting for Tamli to see it and explain her how to make proper ones.

GM Wayfinder |

You left Elidir, climbing into the back of the last of Bort Bargith’s wagons bound for the faraway Andoran capital of Almas.
Be you to work or not during the trek, you all promised to protect the wagons should any trouble arise - and, for that, the smiling caravan master cut the travel cost of those who do pay.
Your journey starts, through the hinterlands of Isger, and is fortunately quiet, even if the ride itself seems to far from comfortable, the wagons banging and bouncing along the very uneven dirt tracks, jostling you around like crazy.
In the evening, around the campfire, as you eat Cooky's unexpectedly good fare, and when Bort tells one story per evening--
--Giggett managed to find a moment with Tamli.
You realized rapidly, that, as you kind of felt, Tamli is more awkward, and thus brusque, rather than mean or harsh.
As noted before, the only special thing about her, is that she carries a lock of hair on a leather cord around her neck.
"Put more wood on the fire, Olf!"
Olf looks up: "Sorry, I'm Ulf."
Tamli sighs... and tosses another log on the fire herself.
Sitting down and turning back to Giggett, she raises an eyebrow: "What?"

Dragh Goldenoak |

Dragh joins the caravan and does his share of work without slacking off. Thanks to that initially he possibly hears and sees a bit less of Tamli complaints and scowling.
However, when the next day he begins the day with reading his covered in a leather book, Tamli does not like it. Especially that before the dwarf is over with reading other members of the crew are already preparing for breakfast and packing things on the carts.
Dragh ignores everyone that speaks to him saying only:
"This is important! Leave me be!"

Natsume Ren |

Natsume is eager to do her part-- more hands makes for less work, after all-- and is actually reasonably skilled at it, having been doing this sort of thing pretty often over the past year and some odd months.
She doesn't shy away from carrying the heavier loads, though she struggles a little more than the burly folks. At first, one might think she's scrawny under the thickly-padded hide armor, but when she strips it off for sleeping, her bare arms show thin, taut muscle.
The next morning, she finds as many excuses as possible to do work near the dwarven wizard, sneaking glances at his book.

GM Wayfinder |

There is not that much work to do, once the caravan has been loaded and is on its way.
The three teamsters make sure the wagon train is moving along, with always driving the lead wagon, and the other two moving around from other wagon to wagon, or resting.
You cover ground at slow but steady pace.
You stop for lunch, at which time the horses are untethered and fed and groomed.
Then you move along until the late afternoon.
That is when there is some work to be done: gather wood, help the teamsters with the horses, make sure the area around is not dangerous, and no tracks of wild beasts or such...
But Dragh has a lot of time to read during the day, and at the end of the day, after eating Cooky's good warm stews.
And Natsume can look over his shoulder, and see the words on the page, dancing in the firelight.

Giggett |

Sitting down and turning back to Giggett, she raises an eyebrow: "What?"
Giggett smiles to Tamli and starts speaking, slowly as usual:
"Hi Tamli. How are ya doing?"
Whatever's Tamli's answer, Giggett waits a bit more time than necessary, making the moment a bit awkward but giving the half-orc time to elaborate her answer. And before it gets too weird, she adds:
"Looks to me you're much important to this caravan. Like you organize everything. It's been long time you work with Bort? What d'you love 'bout this job?"
(I'm not native English speaker, but Giggett does it better than me :) )

GM Wayfinder |

Tamli Grent looks at Griggett:
"How am I doing? You've been seeing me for a couple of days, so you tell me."
After the akward silence.
"Looks to me like you don't know much about caravans.
Looks to me like the only important thing to do is the best job at the work one is supposed to do. Be it king or cleaning jars of piss. I try to do my best.
I've been working with Master Bargith ever since he has employed me.
And what I really love about this job, is meeting new people, and discussing my life with them. It truly opens my horizons. Some more tea? Oh, we're out. Then back to work, I guess. For those that work, that is."
She leaves to do some work.
"Better get on with my unimportant business."

GM Wayfinder |

The Fall of Plaguestone
Part 1 - A Mysterious Murder
It has been three days since you left Elidir, climbing into the back wagon of Bort Bargith’s caravan, bound for the faraway Andoran capital of Almas.
As you break camp this morning, your muscles aching from being jostled around all day long, or hiking beside the wagons, and from sleeping on thin blankets over a hard wooden cart-floor, you are happy to hear Bort announce:
"We should arrive at the town of Etran’s Folly by nightfall, and I promise a comfortable bed for the night as a reward for a long day’s travel!"
The caravan’s teamsters share a chuckle between them, trading knowing glances and subtle nods, but Tamli gets them to work:
"Come on, get your unimportant tasks done, or else I'll have you sleeping on the side of the road tonight! You heard the man, we need to reach Etran's Folly so some can enjoy their feather-beds... so get cracking!"
Soon enough you are on the road again, the wagon bouncing and creaking along the uneven trail.
The day is spent moving through a part of Isger that is sparsely populated, consisting of small rural farms and isolated communities.
It is a temperate land, with frequent light rains that you get out of by protecting yourself under the canvas tarps of the covered wagons.
The rich smell of damp earth wafts on the pleasant breeze.
The trail winds its way through the lowlands, passing along streams and through small forests.
The game in this area has only recently recovered after years of war drove it into hiding, but you did stock up on enough so that you need not hunt today, as you only stop for a very brief lunch of Cooky's stew.
Bort tells you: "We can make it, and sleep in a real bed one night, before pushing on to the next leg of the journey, to Falcon’s Hollow."
Then you are off again, still wiping the crumbs of bread from your lips as the caravan is already moving.
All may of course interact, or even state things said or done in the couple days before.

Giggett |

For whatever reason, Giggett decided that Tamli had things to hide. So, here's the tactic:
First, she finds out in what cart Tamli keeps her possessions. Second, she make sure to load/unload stuff from that cart during the next evening camp, when everyone's fatigued and Tamli's too busy barking orders. Third, she sneaks in the cart at the appropriate moment and quickly checks Tamli's gear. Fourth, if anyone catches her, she makes up for a good lie: "Sorry, I just hit this bag while loading the wood, and its content spilled out. Please, don't tell Tamli, she gonna kill me otherwise. And help me get everything on place so she can't realize what happened."

Dragh Goldenoak |

Dragh travels on the cart or on foot when he has enough of being thrown around. He passes his book to Natsune seeing her being interested in saying:
"It helps me practice my art, but it is written with dwarven runes for the most part."
What is the weather like? Is it nice and warm? freezing and rainy?

Rain showers and not too cold in between.

Natsume Ren |

Dragh travels on the cart or on foot when he has enough of being thrown around. He passes his book to Natsune seeing her being interested in saying:
"It helps me practice my art, but it is written with dwarven runes for the most part."
"Whoa, that is so cool!" says Natsume, flipping through the pages. "I can't read this at all!"
She doesn't give up too quickly, seeming intent on figuring it out, and flips the book upside-down and sideways as if it might be a cypher rather than a foreign language and alphabet. Eventually, she seems satisfied with her inability to read Dwarf and passes it back to Dragh. "You must be like, super smart to read that stuff!"
When it comes to this leg of their journey, Natsume generally keeps on her feet, even in the rain showers (though occasionally as it moves from a light sprinkle to a heavier rain, she raises her shield overhead to keep herself from getting sodden entirely).

Tamerius Archilus |

Tamerius tries to do as little as he could to help, as he is more accustomed to give orders than received them. Nevertheless, when something arises that he's good at, he tries to show his skills.
He's always around Bort, listening to his stories and trying to impress him. Sometime he picks at Dragh's book and try to talk about arcane stuff.
I hope we will make it. I am quite exhausted and sleeping in a bed will be a good change of scenery.

GM Wayfinder |

Giggett easily sees that Tamli sleeps in the first wagon, like Bort.
But there is never anything to load or unload into that wagon, which is not one with wares or goods to be sold.
So, Giggett tries to slip in there when Bort and Tamli are not in it, but one of the twins, Ulf... or is it Olf? One of those big Northern teamsters, spots here.
Thus Giggett does not even get inside.
He seems to be the gullible type, or else he Giggett has a silver tongue - or both? - because when she tells him about spilling wood all over, he rushes over to help her, and fills the bag for her.
"I won't tell Tamli. But she won't kill you. She barks. But doesn't bite. Well... not often."

A. Mangy Pack
It is now late in the afternoon, and Giggett is observing Tamli and thinking about how to get into the wagon, since at night it has Tamli sleeping in it, and you are moving along during the day, so there is only a short window of opportunity in the evening... or, probably tonight, when you sleep in Etran's Folly, yes, of course, the wagon will be empty, what with everybody sleeping in some inn or whatever, as Bort said!
Dragh is reading his book and has not moved much all afternoon.
Right now he is talking with Tamerius.
The both of them are discussing the differences between Arcane and Divine traditions in the casting of Light, Prestidigitation and Shield... and maybe even casting such spells to see the differences in the wording.
A rain shower has just stopped, and Natsume removes the shield from over her head, and shakes herself to send the rain drops flying, and dry off.
"Up ahead is Etran's Folly!", Bort shouts from the front of the wagon.
And Glunda, who is currently leading the horse on the wagon just ahead of you, calls out to you: "Plaguestone, here we come!"
Bort and Tamerius, who are seated in the back of the wagon, stop their magick-craft discussion, and look up.
Natsume, who is stretching her legs and walking behind the wagon, but to the side so as not to be trudging in the mud, finishes putting her shield away.
And Giggett, who is up to the front, near the horses, peering ahead towards the first wagon, thinks: Tonight's the night, I can check Tamli's things... if she doesn't take them with her!
But, no sooner does Borti's call fade from his lips--
--than it is overshadowed by a series of long, mournful howls emanating from the woods to either side of the caravan!
Wolves?!
Moments later, you hear cries of panic from the caravan members, as a pack of mangy wolves descends from the forest with teeth bared!
Wolves.
A dozen of them.
Some keep on circling, some rush for the wagons.
It seems three, so far, have rushed towards your wagon.
These are truly mangy wolves, with dirty fur, a sickened look, and eyes that seem blood-shot.
Natsume being the only one seriously on guard duty, she is faster than the wolves, and is ready for action even before the ambushing animals are!
She sees a wolf with orange blood-shot eyes going for Giggett ; and a pair going for the seated pair, one with yellow blood-shot eyes aiming for Dragh, and one with red blood-shot eyes about to leap up and bite Tamerius' toes.
Natsume--

Giggett |

(I just finish the previous scene)
"I won't tell Tamli. But she won't kill you. She barks. But doesn't bite. Well... not often."
Giggett smiles:
"Thanks a lot... Olf? I never manage to tell who's who between you and your brother."
She thinks for a few seconds and comes up with an idea.
"Come! Follow me."
Getting to her wagon, she dives into her backpack, searching for a minute or two and finaly showing to the twin a plain metal ring sized for a human.
"This one's too big for me, but it should be your size. It's yours! So now, I'll always be able to differentiate both of you. Of course, this a secret between you and I."
Giggett gives the ring with a large smile. A good lie is the best way to make some friends.

GM Wayfinder |

The twin thanks Giggett, and leaves, seemingly very happy.
He slips the ring on his left ring finger, and lifts it: "So you will know I am Ulf!"

Natsume Ren |

As the wolves howl, Natsume is quick to tighten her shield-strap and shake her flail-head loose.
She only takes a second to consider her options-- two wolves vs. a couple of folks who haven't even gotten onto their feet yet, or one vs. the nimble-looking gnome?
It's not even a question; she moves to protect the mages, flail whipping as she moves into position. They're going to have a hard time getting past her...
Flail Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27 CRIT!!!! Starting to think all of my 2e characters are going to start this way!
Flail Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 x2 = 16!
Especially when she dips her head, bringing her shoulder around and swinging her flail in a wide, powerfully fast arc, right for the yellow-eyed wolf's yellow eyes!
Regardless of her luck with this, she pulls her shield up, ready to block an attack.
Move Economy: Sudden Charge, Raise Shield. AC20.

GM Wayfinder |

The two sitting on the back of the wagon suddenly see a wave of red spray out onto the wet green grass of this early autumn evening.
Natsume's flail has totally pulverised the wolf's head.
Without even time enough to make a sound, its headless body slumps to the ground.
(crit' & killed outright, at least double its HP in damage)
The red-eyed wolf stops in its tracks, facing a slender human with a shield, who just popped one of its pack into nothingness.
The wolf starts lunging at Natsume, and it is about to clamp its jaws around her arm, but the lady warrior moves her shield, and is just able to block the bite.
The wolf's teeth screech across the metal wall...
And then it seems to have lost its steam, for it tries to snap twice at her legs, by Natsume is able to very easily avoid both attempts.
(three misses)
Further up, the orange-eyed mangy wolf steps forward, and tries to get a clamp on Giggett's thigh.
The gnome-lady not having had time to prepare for the onslaught from this beast that came rushing out of the trees, has not raised her shield yet, and thus the wolf does manage to clamp onto her thigh, but it does not bite deep enough to rip flesh.
Giggett will however have a deep bruise.
Now that she has seen the wolf, she is able to dance away from its second attack.
(1 hit, 3 damage)
Giggett does see that little black things jumped off from the fur on the wolf's head, and onto her clothes, when she was bitten.
What the...?!
Her legs starts to scratch: fleas!
The darn mangy wolf is flea-ridden!
If successful, nothing happens other than being bothered.
If failed, you are sickened 1 for 1 minute.
Except that you can spend an Interact action to scratch away the fleas and remove the condition (without a roll)
Further up in the caravan, you hear people yelling and cursing and wolves attacking--

"Ooo, Mister Dragh, can you make this one explode? I've always wanted to see what wizards can do!"
"...And we probably should make our way toward the front!"

GM Wayfinder |

Well, Natsume is a little disappointed.
First of all, Mister Dragh was a bit slow on the uptake, and Mister Tamerius reacted first.
Second, the wolf did not explode.
Well, not exactly.
It did explode into a ball of fire, if that counts.
Tamerius jumped down from the wagon, moved back down the slightly muddy trail, which seemed to him a worse fate than being bitten by wolves: his shoes are now dirty!
And then he sent a ray of fire that totally engulfed the wolf in flames, burning it to... death.
As it now lies, inert, in the grass, smoldering away and smelling a lot worse than Cooky's stew.
Burn it did!

(Natural 1 in initiative for you and I, Ilmakis. The legend continues :D)
As many gnomes, Giggett has a tendency for obsession. And current obsession is to know a bit more about Tamli... So she kind of ignored what was happening around her until her eyes crossed one of a big wolf which bit her as a wake up call.
"Heeee!! What's happening?"
Fortitude Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 (My first roll ever, so, be nice or reroll it if you think I've made a mistake. Also, how can I know if I've made it or not as it will influence my next actions?)

(I make a second message, but in the future, I'll use the preview trick the DM explained me)
Giggett ignores the big flea jumping on her, she'll check that when the situation will be solved. A quick look around, to see that the other three are doing fine. Then, she starts focusing on the one attacking her. She waives her hands around, calling the powers of the first world flowing in her veins to summon lightnings on her enemy.
Electric Arc: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 lightning damage, basic Reflex save (DC 17).
She then moves to help the non-combattant people in the caravan.
(I don't know what equipment I have in hand. I think I'll write it in my box as it's sometimes important, and I hate having to convince my DM I was holding it at that precise moment)

GM Wayfinder |

Also, how can I know if I've made it or not as it will influence my next actions?
Look above, you have a spoiler named "For Giggett"
If you open it, everything is spelled out:As the fleas scratch and bite Giggett, you must make DC 14 Fortitude save.
If successful, nothing happens other than being bothered.
If failed, you are sickened 1 for 1 minute.
Except that you can spend an Interact action to scratch away the fleas and remove the condition (without a roll)
So, since it is DC14, and you rolled a 19, you made it.
And:
If successful, nothing happens other than being bothered.
So... only bothered.
(Natural 1 in initiative for you and I, Ilmakis. The legend continues :D)
I did not even see that! ))) Ha ha!
I will update later on, but the spell misses, and Dragh is still up.

GM Wayfinder |

Giggett must not be sweet enough for fleas to bite, because they jump right off her and back onto the mangy wolf.
She waves her hands around, calling upon the powers of the first world-- that send a bolt of lightning into the wolf--
--but the wolf jumps up high, way over the electric arc, and takes no damage from it at all!
He did not even lose a flea...
(nice nat' 20 save, orange wolf is nimble!)
Oblivious to the fact that she did not even manage to harm a flea, Giggett rushes off to explore Tamli's caravan "help" others.

Do I have to leave the wagon? I have the wolf in my line of sight.
Dragh looks at his allies fending off the danger pretty well. Standing on the wagon he rolls of his sleeves and begins chanting. His hands move in front of him shining with bright light.
Soon he makes a move of his hand and a big stone, flies from the road towards the remaining wolf.
Telekinetic Projectile: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Bludgeoning: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
As he sees that stone didn't connect as good as it could have. Dragh stretches his fingers and says one word
Force Bolt, force, no save: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
From his finger flies a dart of energy hitting the wolf in his torso.
Action economy:
1,2 action: cast Telekinetic Projectile
3rd action: cast Force Bolt it is a focus spell

GM Wayfinder |

Being in the back of a covered wagon, Dragh has to pull up the canvas on the side to spot the wolf.
(covered wagons, so an Interact to look out the side - thus no Force Bolt)
The big stone hits the mangy orange-eyed wolf, but bounces off its thick hide and fur...
(miss)
Suddenly, a big, healthy-looking wolf, with fine thick fur, steps out of the trees, towards the back, and-- HOWLS!
The orange-eyed wolf, as well as the other wolves further up the caravan, all react immediately by HOWLING!
The howling that you imagine would make you shiver, deep down in your bones... actually seems rather comical to all of you.

Giggett - 3 dam'
Dragh Goldenoak
O 1: 1d20 - 5 ⇒ (13) - 5 = 8

Tamerius Archilus |

Tamerius moves next to Natsume and calls for Asmodeus' power to chill the big wolf.
Touching the creature, negative energy flew from his hand toward the wolf.
May the depth of Hell burns you!
Damages: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Fortitude save (DC17), on a crit fail, enfeeble 1

GM Wayfinder |

After the nimble mangy wolf, here is a sturdy big wolf.
Tamerius touches the wolf and lets Asmodeus' power flow--
--but the wolf simply shakes this off, and casts a cold look at the one who just thought that hell might be a curse!
(another nat' 20 save, thus crit' success and so nothing)
Giggett can move off, yes--
Round 2
BOLD can act:
Big wolf
Natsume Ren
Orange eyes
Tamerius Archilus
Giggett - 3 dam'
Dragh Goldenoak

Dragh Goldenoak |

Dragh looks at how guardians of the caravan begin to split out. He wonders as both wolves are beyond his range of some spells, and even as he can increase his range he would have to choose which enemy he wants to focus.
He continues to bring energy to impact his surroundings. He waves his hands making complex shapes and movements. Somewhere in between of the incantation, he moves his hand as throwing something. Three missles of energy flies, two towards the wolf chasing Giggett and 1 towards the big wolf.
2 missles @ orange eyes: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 3) + 2 = 7
1 missle @big wolf: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Action economy: 3 actions casting magic missle

Giggett |

3 nat 20s and 3 nat 1s in 2 rounds of combat... Are you sure you roll a normal d20?
Giggett, listening only to her courage, moves away from the big bad ugly wolf and gets closer to the other members of the caravan. After positioning herself close to the central wagon (if all the wagons look roughly the same than the last one), she once again summons the forces of nature. This time, she calls lightning to bounce from the wolf chasing her to another one close to her.
I move 25 feet away from my wolf and cast Electric Arc on him and another wolf at range (30 feet) if there's one.
Electric Arc: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 lightning damage, basic Reflex save DC 17 for both targets.
She then calls out for the people around her:
"Is everyone ok? Does anybody needs help?"
Dragh and I posted at the same time. If my wolf's dead after his missiles, I may choose 2 targets on my side of the battle if I can.

Natsume Ren |

3 nat 20s and 3 nat 1s in 2 rounds of combat... Are you sure you roll a normal d20?
Actually, it's just a coin...

GM Wayfinder |

Dragh's missiles fly--
--and two hit the orange wolf, badly wounding it, while the third slightly wounds the big wolf.
(3 dam' to big wolf)
Then, brave Giggett moves away towards the main caravan, and lets out an electric arc that wounds one other wolf, while finishing off the wounded orange-eyes.
(orange is down)
Nobody really answers Giggett's call, as they are busy fighting wolves, though it seems the caravan traders have the upper hand.
Giggett does see Tamli scratching her legs like mad...
In the back, the big wolf casts a glance at Dragh, who sees that this wolf's eyes have a small hint of emerald to them...
Then the wolf steps gingerly to the other side of Nastume, and opens its mouth.
Natsume is ready to block its bite.
But--
--but...
But the wolf unleashes a stream of bright green acid from its mouth!
This acid pours into a crazy, 30 foot long, line, burning the grass, and coating Natsume and Tamerius!
Both try to dodge this surprising attack--
Critical Success (nat 20 or 26) = no damage
Success = 7 acid damage
Failure = 15 acid damage
Critical Failure (nat 1 or 6) = 30 damage
--and Giggett realizes the wolf has just answered her query: there are at least two people who might not be all right, and who probably need help!
Round 3
BOLD can act:
Big wolf - 3 dam'
Natsume Ren Reflex save (see spoiler)
Tamerius Archilus Reflex save (see spoiler)
Giggett - 3 dam'
Dragh Goldenoak

Natsume Ren |

Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Oh that's unfortunate... and I don't think Shield Block applies here. "Physical attack" and all...
Natsume's shield angle is... unfortunate, here. Rather than wicking the spray away, it hits the center of the shield and splashes off in all directions, calling to mind a spoon under the faucet. Unfortunately, many of those directions happen to be Natsume's face, arm, and legs, and she lets out several hisses: some from her skin (and the smoke now rising from it as the liquid bubbles), and one from between her teeth as the pain like wet needles covers her exposed skin.
"Hurts!!!" she yells. "Bad doggie!"
Shaking off the pain (ineffectively), she leans forward and smashes forward with her shield, using the momentum from that to swing her flail around from the side. She's hoping to end this thing quickly.
Spiked Shield Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Piercing Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Flail Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Bludgeoning Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Knowing it wasn't as effective last time as she liked, she resets her shield again regardless.
Move econ: Strike, Strike, Raise Shield. If it goes down after either of those attacks, though, she'll move Giggett-ward.

GM Wayfinder |

Dripping with acid, her flesh hissing and smoking, Natsume smashes her shield at the wolf, and her spikes pierce its hide--
(3 damage)
--and her flail bashes it on the head: conk!
(5 damage)
Natsume raises her shield.
But, since the wolf does not seem to be even slowed down, she surely does not leave towards Giggett.
Tamerius, having avoided most of the flow, that was blocked by Natsume and her shield, is only lightly burnt...
Round 3
BOLD can act:
Big wolf - 11 dam'
Natsume Ren - 15 dam'
Tamerius Archilus - 7 dam'
Giggett - 3 dam'
Dragh Goldenoak
Sorry! Put the bold in for Natsume, before I removed Orange, and then forgot...

Tamerius Archilus |

Tamerius decides that healing Natsume was the best for his own safety and calls for Asmodeus power to heal Natusme's wounds.
May Asmodeus' Power heals your wounds!
Heal (2 action): 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Then, he calls Hell power to hurt the wolf as he channels Energy from the Styx.
Be harmed by Hell's Power!
Harm (1 action): 1d10 ⇒ 5 Fortitude DC17

Giggett |

Giggett quickly assessed the situation was under control. She didn't even rejoice at the sight of Tamli scratching herself as this nice little fight proved to be too little for her taste. She looked back at Natsume and Tamerius to see how they were handling the big bad wolf and saw a massive spray of acid in every direction.
"Bloody Crap!!!"
She bends down to look under the wagons while taking a second to think:
- Black dragon transmuted into a wolf?
- 1, 2, 3, 4 legs, everyone's still standing
- Wolf corrupted by the Dark Tapestry?
- Should I stay or should I go...
- Massive gastroenteritis?
Recall Knowledge: Religion and Nature + 3, Occult + 4: 1d20 ⇒ 11
"Holy hell, I never heard of anything like that!"
Now overwhelmed by a mix of fear and excitment, she decides to listen to the latter and rushes back to the last wagon.

Natsume Ren |

Natsume feels her flesh growing back and pushing the acid right off, and grins back at Tamerius. "That's awesome! I can't feel the wind on my skull anymore!"

GM Wayfinder |

Tamerius heals Natsume's wounds with hellish help.
Does Natsume feel that tingle?!
(+9 HP)
But when Tamerius calls upon the powers of Hell to hurt the wolf--
--the wolf just casts a cold emerald green look at the Cleric of Asmodeus... and the spell falls short, not reaching the wolf.
Tamerius boosted his Healing spell with verbal components (2 actions), thus his Harm-ing spell has no words, and since he cannot touch the wolf - unless I am missing something, reach? you only have 1 action left, so Touch
- it remains unscathed.
So, if someone has time or knows about that, and if Tamerius, having cast a touch spell, can hold it, please speak up (I'll look later).
Otherwise I imagine it is lost...
Hell seems to be on this wolf's side!
Giggett scurries back, and though it seems to be a wolf - four legs, pelt, face... -- it cannot be a simple animal, or else she would know this and what it is: it is not just a wolf with stomach problems!
(I moved you one square further, which is the correct double move?)
Round 3
BOLD can act:
Big wolf - 11 dam'
Natsume Ren - 6 dam'
Tamerius Archilus - 7 dam'
Giggett - 3 dam'
Dragh Goldenoak

SuperBidi |

You can no more keep the charge in PF2. Unfortunately, his spell is lost (but I also note that you are a harsh DM :) )
And for Giggett's move, she was on the half square 2 rounds before, so I think you moved her one square less than where she was in the previous round. She's supposed to be where I had put her.
