This is the story of a time long ago, a time of myth and legend. The gods used to be petty and cruel plaguing mankind with suffering. However, that time has long passed. The gods themselves have grown out of their petty squabbles and feuds and have realized that they were wasting their gifts. The gods are far closer to politicians than the lords they were in the time of old but no less powerful. In fact the gods themselves now live on Earth in the Hall of Olympieion. The building is less of a temple and more like a government building. The campaign takes place on ancient earth and will mostly center around the country of Greece and its neighboring countries.

So, my understanding of this game world is that it's generally a historically accurate Classical Athens and Greece, with certain rpg elements (such as magic and races) and anachronistic references thrown in. And that's where it gets fuzzy for me.
In Classical Greece, women had limited rights and were betrothed to an arranged marriage at a young age by their closest male relative, and this was generally accepted as the norm. Yet we have more modern references sprinkled throughout, so I'm not sure if that applies to social norms about marriage.
Are the PCs completely radical in pressing for Lysithea's choice to marry, or is this a viewpoint that at least some other groups in the game world have? Because if we make arguments to Lysithea's dad assuming that he considers her like a modern-day father would, but the DM is holding the society to be more historically accurate, we're going to get frustrated by making arguments and taking actions that seem reasonable to us, but absurd by the others in the game world.

I'm okay if Teledoros ends up being something of a radical and a romantic in this regard. He's young and dumb anyway.

Varocles' opinions might stem more from being a dwarf than general societal norms as well.

No you guys aren't being radical. All your arguments are completely reasonable as I don't hold things to any sort of historical accuracy. It's just some folks are super stubborn. My world is a little bit more modern but some still prefer the old ways.
Plus you guys breezed through the combats so I have to give some sort of challenge. :)

Agree - we'll tread a fine line between modern thinking and the accepted social norms of antiquity - hence Polyoinos' request for a sit down rather than stand off.
Irrespecitve of the final decision Poly is happy for the girl to follow her whims - would just be good to raid the old goat's wine cellar as we come to the conclusion lol.

Green vs Poly, Power Attack: 1d20 + 5 - 1 ⇒ (11) + 5 - 1 = 15
2d6 + 3 + 3 ⇒ (2, 1) + 3 + 3 = 9
Theorycrafting
Greatswords with power attack and +3/+3 means Str14 and BaB 1-3.
Now, +5 Hit with Str14 means BaB 3 (unless they have Weapon Focus or Masterwork)
I did 21 damage and he was still up. So, I’m assuming Con14 and FCB for HP, and d10 Class. 13+8=21. As I did 21 damage, that means lvl3 is most likely. So they probably have 29HP each.
The question then is what feats do they have?
Or they are lvl2 with power attack, toughness and Masterwork weapons. Meaning he’d have 3HP left.

Alchemist'sGreek fire is 20 gold.
Can we agree that we dropped, say, 120 of that 3,000 gold to buy six flasks? That's a purely arbitrary number, so if anyone wants to bring that up or down, speak up.
And is the remainder of that 3,000 gold to be split up or are we doing communal loot? I'm fine either way.
Male Human(Amazing)
Yea that's fine. I would recommend a zero-sum distribution to keep things fair. I can start a spreadsheet if someone is willing to put in the work of updating it.

Regarding the plan: If we're going to try an ambush by drawing it out with noise, then we're probably going to call more than one of them. We could hover right outside the trap door and wait for it to come out, hopefully blocking the one behind it.
Hopefully there's only one exit to the troll lair.

I’ll throw this out there. Two CR 5 encounters dumped on top of one another is a way to get a party of 3rd level PCs killed awfully fast.
Added to that, our plan had involved being stacked right outside the door to the dungeon we expected these guys to come out from, means our “trap” didn’t go off as planned, and we were facing trollhounds in our midst on round 1.
I believe we’ll defeat this encounter, but as a concerned citizen I wanted to point out the difficulty of this encounter for our party.

To be fair - we picked the mission... normally as a 3rd level PC I'd be extremely wary of butting heads with trolls, but we're headstrong and looking to join the pantheon of heroes! :)

I've put together a loot sheet for this campaign. (DM, if you could add this link to the top with your map link I'd appreciate it.)
I find that different people handle loot sheets different ways. I'm more than happy to maintain this loot sheet, so here's a few assumptions I make:
1) If you claim something from the loot, and it's on the loot sheet, you are responsible for removing it. At the very least, please ask someone else (like me!) to do so if you are unable. Please don't declare that you're taking something, add it to your PC's items, and then leave it on the loot sheet.
2) Basically, I won't worry about splitting up the gold unless it makes in-game sense, like when we have an opportunity to go shopping or if someone needs coins for a magical wishing fountain or whatever. Otherwise, it also depends on when I have free time, since I can't view Google Drive from work except for on my phone.
3) Before I'll sell, I'll remind everyone to get what they want from the loot sheet and give them a chance to do that. After I sell, I clear the items from the sheet and never consider them again. (But Google has an edit history, so you can still check it out if needed.)
4) We all get busy, so if I'm holding things up, feel free to sell items or do whatever you need to do to the loot list. I won't feel possessive, and I'll probably thank you!
Finally, I don't recall any group loot prior to Euromenes, so I only scanned back that far. Speaking of which, it doesn't look like anyone took any of the bandit leader's gear? Please update the list if I'm wrong.
