Robyyn fights mightily to resist the splendid colors the creature seems to spew out, but fight them he does. He wrangles arcane power into another spell, he opens his mouth in a silent scream that rings in the ears of the creature and nobody else.

Witch's Winter Holiday

LIs fails to take advantage of the qlippoth's distractedness as it stands, as do both Victor and the elemental. She catches the creature squarely in the mouth on the backswing, breaking one of its teeth (though she really felt like that was at least a two-tooth swing).

Dolph, meanwhile, squashes a tentacle beneath his mighty dorn-dergar as the shoggti struggles to its, uh, feet(?) before shrinking back down to regular size to disburse more family wisdom. Dewberry manages to catch another pale fin in her mouth, tearing it away and leading drops of strange, oily blood decorating the ground.

Then the screaming starts. The qlippoth tries to resist...

Witch's Winter Holiday

The bird's aim is true as it skims the cavern's ceiling and delivers its payload. Instinctively, the dazed qlippoth moves...

...and does not become stuck to the ground - though the sticky goo causes its tentacles to cling together unexpectedly before flopping apart again.

Glad I don't have to get into the question of how you glue something to a greased floor. Because the shoggti failed its save against both ear-piercing screams and Xilt "goes" after Orst, I'll say its still dazed long enough for Orst to move into position without triggering an AoO if he wants. Unfortunately, this also means it hasn't taken any hostile actions that would shake the fascinated creatures out of their stupor.

Witch's Winter Holiday

Orst darts forward as the shoggti raises Dolph into the air, the light of the Inheritor shining fiercely around him. With a single mighty thrust, his sword pierces through the center of the qlippoth's tentacled form. The light around him swiftly floods the cavity even as oily, multicolored blood oozes out around the blade, and with a blaze of divine judgement, the qlippoth disintegrates into oversized pieces of calamari.

Out of combat! Damage Report:
Dolph (-21, -1 Wis damage)
Victor (-16)
Kronug (-3 Wis damage)
Bird (-19)
Lis (-4 Wis damage)
Dewberry (-5)

The roar of battle abruptly gives way to silence, broken only by the sound of running water and the Pathfinders' heavy breathing.

Go ahead and give me any restorative actions you might want to take in your next post, as well as which direction you would like to head next (West, Northeast, or Southeast).

Xilt visibly relaxes as the alien monstrosity is slain.

"By the gods that one was a meat grinder!"

He turns to the Paladin.

"That was a fine blow indeed Orst to slay the beat. Good job everyone. Perhaps Kronug would look at his body and around? I doubt his lair is far."

Xilt rouses Sammy from his stupor and asks him to stand guard.

"I will need a minute to recover my magical energies."

After pausing for a minute Xilt suggests proceeding North East.

Xilt will recover all three first level spells with pearls of power. He will then cast an extended Heroism(with quick silver +1 cl -duration) on himself. He will then use Fast Study(1 minute) to prepare his last open slot.

Witch's Winter Holiday

The Pathfinders press onward, descending stone steps to a large room filled with a massive pile of fallen rocks in the center. As Kronug rounds the corner, he spies an ancient set of metal shelves attached to a relatively-flat section of wall in the northeastern corner of the room, mostly turned to dust or broken from rockfalls. The half-elf also spies a tall humanoid figure with a black scarf wrapped around its face looking straight at him with dark, soulless eyes before the room suddenly turns pitch-black.

Knowledge (arcana) DC 23:
This effect is similar to the spell deeper darkness.

Initiative:
Dolph: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Kronug: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (1) + 0 = 1
Lisianthus: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7 (while air elemental)
Orst: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Robyyn: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
Xilt: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29

??: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

Alright, this is a bit tricky to represent on the slide, so bear with me. The grey area is darkness that cannot be seen through even with darkvision. However, the darkness is radiating much like light would, so it's not "dark-dark" around the corner where most of the Pathfinders are. If you have ideas for how to represent this more effectively, I'm all ears.

"Kronug. Your Earth Elemental friend has tremorsense and earth glide. Very handy here for us now."

The plan is to summon a giant ball of water (Aqueous Orb) and have it block the passage way so we do not get jumped by this creature. In future rounds my character can try to go fishing for this creature with the ball. However my character cannot see there so I do not know if this possible. I am assuming that it is and I am placing the ball on the map. The Aqueous Orb will be Reflex DC 23. If it is not possible my character will simply be on delay.

Can the Aqueous Orb squeeze through the narrow passage way?
My thought is yes but if you rule that it cannot than I will not cast and just be on delay.

@Xilt, the orb looks good where it is. You'll need line of effect to both the starting and stopping position (and all points in between) to move it though.

In the darkness, Kronug hears light feet scampering over stones as something approaches.
