The ranger can crank it down to +0, -2, -4 and then -4 for everything that follows if you pick Flurry and you use an action to apply Hunted Prey to your target *and* you're using an agile weapon.
I'm not sure what options monks and fighters get to reduce the multi-attack penalty.

So I learned a couple of things:
-A wizard needs to 'learn' spells multiple times if he wants to heighten them.
-I got a familiar I have yet to use. With the DMs blessing, I'd like to respec that. I honestly have a hard time figuring out when and where to use it, and so far no real opportunities have come by where I thought 'hey, I can use/utilize my familiar here!'.
-Incapacitation spells are hard-limited to mobs twice the level of the spell, meaning that if you want to colorspray monsters at level six, you'll *need* to heighten it.
-Waking up at 6 am and finding no coffee in your cupboard is a nightmare.
You can respec your familiar, Ervan.

Thank you. I will post the changes as soon as I've figured out what to replace it all with. Every single time I get the feeling that I got a grasp on PF 2E's rules something comes along that tells me I do not :')

So, the Thesis change means he can swap two spells of the same level to gain a single slot that is one or two levels above the ones swapped. Right now, he won't be using it, but in the future Ervan might swap out two second level spell slots to gain an extra fourth level slot.
You can attempt a Medicine check to help cure the kobolds or a Nature check to develop a natural cure for their poisoning.

Hi, all - RL is giving me a bit of a kicking at the moment. I will get some posts up this evening/tomorrow with a view to resuming normal service thereafter.
Sorry for any delays, thanks for bearing with me.
No worries, Allandir.
Let me know which hexes you want to explore next!

North to Alaska ... er ... the top of the map. Then northeast.
Alright I will update later today.

I had to take a double look at the picture of the dragon-baboon (mandrill?) to make sure he isn't wearing sunglasses xD
Also, we still have some loot that needs a master. Ervan took the staff of abjuration (duh). I imagine Lucius took the staff of healing, but the r/w/b spellguard shield, the ring of fire resistance, the chime and the pendant need an owner.
Quote:
In addition, Nketiah provides you with several magic items: a staff of abjuration, a staff of healing, a chime of opening, a ring of energy resistance (fire), and a red, white and black spellguard shield. She also removes a pendant from her neck and hands it to you. "This is a dragon's eye charm. It was given to me years ago by a friend when I faced a dangerous mission. Just as my friend wished me good fortune, I wish you, my newest friends, the same good luck."
The Dragon's Eye Charm has a buttload of powers and it can honestly be used by any of us. Ervan can mimick its powers with his spell selection, so it would be wasted on him, but the ability to gain darkvision and 5 fire resistance for just one action would benefit any of us.
And yes, I know we can hardly say 'oh yeah, I'm wearing that right now', but we should distribute it right after this combat. Assuming, that is, we're still able to do so :'D

Yeah, that ring of energy resistance (fire) looks pretty enticing right now. :)
Allandir and Lucius are up!
I will be out of town without internet access from Saturday 2/29 until Friday 3/6. It may take me until the following Monday to catch up on everything.

EDIT: Just realised we went to level 6 at some point and I didn't notice. Fixing now.
EDIT II. Fixed. Haven't picked a class feat or skill feat, but they're all pretty meh anyway.

In another 2E game, I'm playing a swashbuckler that's up and down in combat more times than I care to count. Sometimes more than once in the same battle. Allandír was reminding me of that. :)
Still need actions for Ervan and Lucius. If Allandir is healed, he can act as well.
Ervan and Lucius are up again!
Allandir and Lucius are up.

Hello all. Just to let you all know that Wandering Wastrel has come down with coronavirus. Not in an at-risk group but unavailable for a few days at least.
The original post.
I think we cross-posted, Ervan.

Apologies for absence. Reading through what I've missed and catching up now, will post when I can.
Glad to have you back and that you are okay! We missed you!

Just waiting for somebody to answer Pril's question.
Pril, remember it's double damage on a critical failure, so that would be 38 total poison damage after resistance. With the wholeness of body you're still down 30 damage. :(

Ah, yes. I had forgotten about critically failing saves. :(
Took yesterday off, slowly catching up on everything amidst work. I'll update this game later this morning.

Hi all
Due to ongoing work (I had 2/3 of my team reassigned to other matters last week), I don't now have time to post regularly here. I'm going to keep running the games where I'm DM but I think I need to drop the games I'm playing in: it isn't fair to you guys (especially the DM) to have to keep waiting on me.
I'm sorry to do this, but I don't see how it works otherwise.
Sorry to see you go, Allandir, but I understand. Take care of yourself.
To the other players: how do you want to handle his departure? Should we recruit a new player? Should I continue botting Allandir or make a DMPC to round out the party?
Game Concluded
How about we see if we can find another player (that has a character that's attracted to small, curious, bubbly women that can kick their butt). If no one presents themselves then I vote for a DMPC.
If you have somebody in mind, I'm open to suggestions. :D

I'm happy with a DMPC if you are Brainiac. Not too fussed either way all in all though.

I'm fine either way. A PC would bring more life to the campaign, but a DMPC means Wastrel can hop on back in whenever he wants and can.

We have a possible replacement coming.
After checking with Brainiac, I've asked Rising Phoenix if he'd be interested in filling the spot. It sounds like he is, but I'll let him chime in to let us know for sure.

Hello, hello! I hear you need someone to shoot some things.
Thanks for the invite to the party folks! Let me know when you'd like me to pop into the game, GM. I've gotten the crunch ready and loaded into the alias, but haven't flushed out all of the fluff yet.
Welcome, Illyiana. You'll need to come up with a reason why your character is wandering through the Mwangi jungles. Once you do, I'll introduce you in game.

We now have a Discord channel to discuss this game. Ervan, if you are interested in joining, send me your contact info and I will invite you.
