This my new low level PF 1 game. I will be combining aspects of a homebrew game with published material. It is set in the country of Nirmathas.
Welcome to my Bloody Nightmare.

My wounds feel so much better, although I am still a bit slimy
Evil GM
Can I get survival check from Bradan and Ulfrec for prepping the croc. I'm going to assume that is the proper skill check to beable to skin crock without too much damage and prep the meat, excluding the eyeball that Poke Poke popped out and ate.

Gifted, Bradan... Maybe we will come across some more Crocs, fer ya...
Evil GM
Bradan make quick work in skinning, dissecting, and cubing the dire croc up into manageable sections for carrying. Looks like there are going to be a few pair of croc boots when you get back into town.
When everyone is ready you can continue on the small trail you were on.
Anyone with survival can make roll and perception roll as you walk.

Calain hefts his gear (his Great sword was stowed and his Lucerne Hammer was back in hand), Yes, well if we are following the river or trail, let's make a conscious effort to keep 20ft back from the bank wherever possible. That way a submerged croc laying in ambush is less likely to spring up at us. We've plenty to carry now and killing another would simply be wasted leather.
Calain will resume his place in the marching order, allowing the Goblin a decent lead so hopefully the little sneak is the first to get pounced on this time. He did wonder briefly if it was worth having a scout up Front who was so good at avoiding being noticed yet dense enough to miss a threat the size of the croc.....

Survival: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
Anyone who's paying close attention will notice a grey and black canine following the group, staying well away and trying to remain out of sight. It doesn't approach and seems strangely focused on Bradan for some reason.

Considering what we have met here, I wouldn't be surprised if it sprouts two heads and spits acid.
Evil GM
You all do manage to find the path again and remain on it, there is split at one point and the barrister reasoned out what appears to be a logical choice of direction. Three hours later you can hear the sound of running water....fresh water...not stagnant as you sense you are winding your way out of the swamp. The air begins to freshen up.
What are you going to do?
Favored Enemy (human) +4 (animals) +2; Second Wind 2/2 HP 43/43, AC 18 / T 14 / FF 14 // Fort +6 / Ref +8 / Will +2 Initiative +4, Perception +9 Longbow +9 (1d8+3), Glaive-guisarme +7 (1d10+3)
"Out of the rotting vegetation and gases, at last! Well, where is our detour taking up, Mrs. Turner? Do you have a destination in mind, or what?"
Bradan looks back into the marshy land suspiciously, then back out to the fresher water.
"Also, do you or our new rescuee have the ability to use arms? If so, we have some spare, just in case we get attacked from surprise again."
We should find a place to rest and heal. I still suffer from swamp maladies.
Male Human Invulnerable Rager HP: 50/50 AC18/12/16, F6/R3/W2, Perception: +6, Survival +6, Init:+2; CMD:18; CMB+6
Smartest thing you've said today Beorn, Maybe Aargh has some knowledge for unpacking your ears so you'll realise how loudly you speak. Otherwise tending our wounds with shelter and rest sounds like a fine idea.
Male
Depends on the Missus, what's the urgency?

Baldwin about what time is it? I think by post we should of been traveling about 6-7 hours plus an hour cutting up the croc
It's late afternoon. Mrs. Turner nods her approval, "Yes, a rest is wise." She wrinkles her nose. "It would be great if we can get clear of this swamp and into some more open land, sounds like a river is nearby and fresh water and cool bath would be nice to have." She circles around looking at the sky and then the surrounding. "I don't know exactly were we are, but I think we may be near the southern boarder and Molthune and the river. Unless we were dimensioned to a farther location, I need to look around. She goes a bit pale, we could be in Lastwell too."

"Lastwall? With the knights and undead and crusading armies? Oh joy."
Bradan sees about setting up camp for the group, preparing a fire and cooling up some croc meat for dinner.
"Any ideas as to what were gonna be facing when we find this hidden place? Dungeon, monsters, giant pot of gold coins?"
Male
If you know where we want to be, I can divine the shortest path. Could save is time and spare us some... excitement.
Male Goblin unchained rogue (knife master, scout) 5 Init 5 AC20/T17/F14, Perc +7, Stelth +21 Saves F+3/R+9/W+0, HP 47/47
When we get a little farther down the road Poke Poke helps setting up the camp, hiding it, and will string up the bell trap
survival ti help with camp: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
stealth: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (11) + 20 = 31
Lastwall at least would have potential sanctuaries. We could be in the Worldwound! Demons, devils and mutant tigers!
Evil GM
The group does locate river, and you can clean up, and there's nice hillock nearby that overlooks a pasture and field. You figure you are nearing some settlements.
Are you going to camp on the hillock or explore more. After cleaning up the sun is cresting over the horizon.

Beorn uses Prestidigitation to clean himself and everyone up. Making sure the goblin gets two castings of the spell. Making camp sounds like a good idea.
Evil GM
The party makes camp and Beorn makes sure everyone is scented with lillies. Poke Poke goes ahead and sets some warning cans in the perimeter before he takes a quick rest.
I assume the watch order: 1) ulfrec and Geri, 2) Poke Poke, 3) Calian?
Those on watch can each make a perception check.

I ache for a good warm bath. Magic can only do so much. Plus clean clothes! *sigh*

A quick note to check the discussion thread. I need everyone to level up to 5th. Update your character sheets and headers. post that you're done so I can get this part of the game moving along.

Ulfrec and Geri you watch goes by uneventfully and you stir Poke Poke awake. Poke Poke midway through your watch, as the others sleep, you see a dim flicker of light in the distance down in the field. As watch it for a while it seems to flicker and flutter a lot, as if it's torch in breeze. It does appear to be moving to your left and right, but it doesn't appear to be coming closer to your camp.
Are you doing anything?
