Hmph! Just how charitable is everyone feeling?

Male Human Invulnerable Rager HP: 50/50 AC18/12/16, F6/R3/W2, Perception: +6, Survival +6, Init:+2; CMD:18; CMB+6

Covered in Blood, Calain leans on his Greatsword.
Knock it out and tie it up. When it wakes, we should be gone.

Believing his allies having it well in hand, Calain moves back to the door on the edge of the cloud to see if he might be of assistance.
He pauses and clasps Arrgh's arm.
Thankyou for the healing. I was badly wounded.

HP 39/39 AC 16/ T 12/ FF 14/ F+4/ R+4/ W+7/CMD 12, Init +2, Perc +7, Height 5'6, swim +2

Agreed...Tie it up. But beware. This isn't over yet. There's still the owner of the house to deal with.

Anytime Calain. But hopefully not today. I had only one of those prepared

M Elf Rogue (Discretion Specialist) 3

"We've got hostages incoming. Witch on the loose! Heads a-swiveling!"

Male Dwarf Druid 5 (Wolf Shaman) HP 56/56, AC19/T12/F17, Saves F+8/R+3/W+6, Perc +10, Init +6

Anyone good with languages, Draconic I reckon... maybe he surrenders 'cause it ain't his their fight. Compulsion or the like... enslaved by whatever is inside.

Evil GM

The outside becomes quiet with the only noise coming from a raven squawking in the distance. The smoke outside disperses but it still remains inside the house.

Inside the house the smoke clings midair and wafts upwards towards the roof. Poke Poke you manage to get the captive out of his cage. His flesh feels paper thin in places, he groans with every movement. You still do not see the witch.

What is everyone doing. There is no immediate combat.

1/2O Bard6HP18/18,Init+2,Per+4,F3R6W4(6Fear),AC16T12FF14

Beorn keeps watch outside.

Male Human Invulnerable Rager HP: 50/50 AC18/12/16, F6/R3/W2, Perception: +6, Survival +6, Init:+2; CMD:18; CMB+6

Calain stows area his greatsword and retireves his Lucerine Hammer. He leans on it, while he recovers his breath and waits for the final effects of the cloud to pass.
Goblin! Are you still alive in there?

Male Goblin unchained rogue (knife master, scout) 5 Init 5 AC20/T17/F14, Perc +7, Stelth +21 Saves F+3/R+9/W+0, HP 47/47

Poke Poke will make his way to the enterance as gengerly as possible.

"Yes, but this longshanks is hurt pretty bad."

HP 39/39 AC 16/ T 12/ FF 14/ F+4/ R+4/ W+7/CMD 12, Init +2, Perc +7, Height 5'6, swim +2

Aggrah moves over to Poke-Pokes wounded Longshanks and begins to examine the wounded heal: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

Evil GM

Aggrah you can see that the human male has been badly treated. His flesh is flayed and there are section of his body where his skin has been peeled away. The man has a glazed look on his face and he is shivering.

Favored Enemy (human) +4 (animals) +2; Second Wind 2/2 HP 43/43, AC 18 / T 14 / FF 14 // Fort +6 / Ref +8 / Will +2 Initiative +4, Perception +9 Longbow +9 (1d8+3), Glaive-guisarme +7 (1d10+3)

"How's our charge? Is she okay, or was she badly treated as well?"

Bradan keeps a close watch on the surrendered lizardperson, collecting the gear and loot from the fallen ones into a pile.

Evil GM

Mrs. Turner has bruises from being dragged and rough handled. She clearly has been tormented but she has not been flayed or skinned.

HP 39/39 AC 16/ T 12/ FF 14/ F+4/ R+4/ W+7/CMD 12, Init +2, Perc +7, Height 5'6, swim +2

Aggrahs not a dedicated healer and can't replace a cleric. But she'll do what she can

Aggrah ignores any potential threat from a hostile witch and begins treating the flayed man
CLW: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 last healing spell of the day
and begins treating his wounds ..heal skill etc

M Elf Rogue (Discretion Specialist) 3

"What kind of swine would do this?! Rat-bastard, show yourself!"

perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25

Evil GM

Dr Tes the smoke is clearing but you don't see anyone else in the room. You do see the flames from two hearths in the near corners illuminate and heat the room. An iron cauldron filled with a simmering black, viscous goo roils over each fire. A cracked stone statue of a beautiful female warrior stands next to one of the hearths, and light reflects off the tarnished surface of a mirror, cracked and missing many shards, attached to the near wall. A group of vials rest atop a large, flat-topped table, while more than a dozen tattered books sit upon a crude shelf built into it. Four wooden posts driven into the earthen floor against the far wall support a rudimentary bed stitched together from flayed skin and leather.

Evil GM

what are you going to do?

1/2O Bard6HP18/18,Init+2,Per+4,F3R6W4(6Fear),AC16T12FF14

So what is happening in there?

Male Human Invulnerable Rager HP: 50/50 AC18/12/16, F6/R3/W2, Perception: +6, Survival +6, Init:+2; CMD:18; CMB+6

Calain surveys the room from the entrance without entering.
We have Miss Turner. We should leave now. Protecting her was first priority and this man needs aid.

He looks about for any threats but will wait to hear Mrs Turner's response...

HP 39/39 AC 16/ T 12/ FF 14/ F+4/ R+4/ W+7/CMD 12, Init +2, Perc +7, Height 5'6, swim +2

I believe treating the flayed man's wounds will take some time... So Aggrah continues with that task. However she is aware there's an evil witch about and keeps her guard up

Male Goblin unchained rogue (knife master, scout) 5 Init 5 AC20/T17/F14, Perc +7, Stelth +21 Saves F+3/R+9/W+0, HP 47/47

"That Grumpy, may be the smartest thing you have said." Poke Poke manages to wheze out between gulps of air. "Do we know where we are?

Favored Enemy (human) +4 (animals) +2; Second Wind 2/2 HP 43/43, AC 18 / T 14 / FF 14 // Fort +6 / Ref +8 / Will +2 Initiative +4, Perception +9 Longbow +9 (1d8+3), Glaive-guisarme +7 (1d10+3)

"Agreed. We should take our charge and the wounded, and leave this cursed place as soon as possible. Poke Poke, would you like to burn the place down? If so, I have no issues whatsoever there."

Bradan finishes piling up the loots and readies his bow again, providing security for the group and they get ready to leave.

Male Human Invulnerable Rager HP: 50/50 AC18/12/16, F6/R3/W2, Perception: +6, Survival +6, Init:+2; CMD:18; CMB+6

Calain looked at the man's wounds and agreed.
Burn it down. This man has been tortured. We'll kill the witch if she runs out.

The Smith rummaged for his last flask of oil and uses his flint and steel to set fire to the side of the building unless someone stops him....

Male Goblin unchained rogue (knife master, scout) 5 Init 5 AC20/T17/F14, Perc +7, Stelth +21 Saves F+3/R+9/W+0, HP 47/47

"It's pretty far gone already Stinky. Poke Poke donxt want to waist the time."

The big fighter stops what he is doing, just now realising he was setting fire to an already burning building....It was very late when I posted....

Evil GM

Calain you don't see the witch or anyone else in the house. Everyone realizes the house is not burning down but it was some type of spell that make one of the fireplaces produce the smoke. You don't have any issue catching the place on fire especially if you have some pints of oil.

The man is in bad shape for a heal spell will help him along.

What are you going to do after you light the house on fire?

It is getting late so if someone want to make a knowledge nature or survival check you can locate a camping spot a half mile away from this cursed house.

1/2O Bard6HP18/18,Init+2,Per+4,F3R6W4(6Fear),AC16T12FF14

I know some healing magic and can use it on injured people. Speaking of which Beorn casts CLW on his almost dead self
CLW: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

We won't make it out for a couple nights. Let's find shelter. If the ranger wants to lead we can find a spot to hold up

Survival to find a defensible position: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

Favored Enemy (human) +4 (animals) +2; Second Wind 2/2 HP 43/43, AC 18 / T 14 / FF 14 // Fort +6 / Ref +8 / Will +2 Initiative +4, Perception +9 Longbow +9 (1d8+3), Glaive-guisarme +7 (1d10+3)

"Right, on it. Watch that lizard guy, hes still got claws and teeth."

Bradan looks around for a suitable place to camp and rest up.

Kn(nature): 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 2 = 28
Survival: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 7 + 2 = 18

(Assuming this all still counts as swamp)

Evil GM

The group is able to find a defensable position. It's a small clearing ontop of hillock.

Everyone can level up.

Male Goblin unchained rogue (knife master, scout) 5 Init 5 AC20/T17/F14, Perc +7, Stelth +21 Saves F+3/R+9/W+0, HP 47/47

Poke Poke will setup his bell trap trip string

disable device to try and enable device: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21

1/2O Bard6HP18/18,Init+2,Per+4,F3R6W4(6Fear),AC16T12FF14

So, we need to get out of here as fast as possible. Somehow we might convince this lizard man to show us the way out.

It's late. I don't think tromping through the swamp in the dark is the greatest idea. Probably best to overnight in this defensible hillock. But this is going to be a LONG night. We've got a pissed-off witch whose house we just burnt down somewhere out there. Buckle up boys!

HP 39/39 AC 16/ T 12/ FF 14/ F+4/ R+4/ W+7/CMD 12, Init +2, Perc +7, Height 5'6, swim +2

As the defensive camp is set up Aggrah uses her newly acquired

Healing Hex:
PFS Legal Healing (Su) (Advanced Player's Guide pg. 66): A witch can soothe the wounds of those she touches. This acts as a cure light wounds spell, using the witch's caster level. Once a creature has benefited from the healing hex, it cannot benefit from it again for 24 hours. At 5th level, this hex acts like cure moderate wounds.
on herself clw: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

And goes around to each of her companions seeing if they need any additional healing

(each of you can benefit from this Hex 1/day), if you want healing now please roll the 1d8+4 for yourselves. Or you can hold off and see if you need it later

After providing and needed healing to her companions Aggrah returns to the injured man and asks Can you tell us anything about who tortured you and held you captive?

Favored Enemy (human) +4 (animals) +2; Second Wind 2/2 HP 43/43, AC 18 / T 14 / FF 14 // Fort +6 / Ref +8 / Will +2 Initiative +4, Perception +9 Longbow +9 (1d8+3), Glaive-guisarme +7 (1d10+3)

Healing Hex: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 HP

"Thanks, Aggrah, that helps a lot."

Evil GM

I need who ever is on first, second, and third watch to each make a perception check. The order of who's on which watch does not matter to me.

Male Goblin unchained rogue (knife master, scout) 5 Init 5 AC20/T17/F14, Perc +7, Stelth +21 Saves F+3/R+9/W+0, HP 47/47

who is doing watch? If asked/told Poke Poke will take one, but wont volunteer

Comeon yeah little sneak...Do your part. Take first watch with me so I can keep an eye on ya.

"Bah, pig lady can't handle it. You go ahead and sleep. Poke poke keep watch for you."

Poke Poke starts sneaking around the camp watching for issues

perc: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
stealth: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (12) + 20 = 32

Aggrah you would see Poke Poke quietly skitter to the edge of camp and completely disapear

1/2O Bard6HP18/18,Init+2,Per+4,F3R6W4(6Fear),AC16T12FF14

I will take second

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

HP 39/39 AC 16/ T 12/ FF 14/ F+4/ R+4/ W+7/CMD 12, Init +2, Perc +7, Height 5'6, swim +2

As expected
Aggrah hopes the gobbo is keeping watch in his own way ...she certainly didn't expect him to readily go along with her suggestion, but had to try

Favored Enemy (human) +4 (animals) +2; Second Wind 2/2 HP 43/43, AC 18 / T 14 / FF 14 // Fort +6 / Ref +8 / Will +2 Initiative +4, Perception +9 Longbow +9 (1d8+3), Glaive-guisarme +7 (1d10+3)

Bradan will take last watch.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 8 + 2 = 29

Male Human Invulnerable Rager HP: 50/50 AC18/12/16, F6/R3/W2, Perception: +6, Survival +6, Init:+2; CMD:18; CMB+6

Calain will take 2nd with Arrgh

Male Dwarf Druid 5 (Wolf Shaman) HP 56/56, AC19/T12/F17, Saves F+8/R+3/W+6, Perc +10, Init +6

Looks like 1st - Aggrah/Poke, 2nd - Beorn/Calain and 3rd - Bradan & Ulfrec.

Zzz...

3rd watch preception, darkvision: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

Evil GM

DM rolls:

W1: 1d100 ⇒ 71
W2: 1d100 ⇒ 87
W3: 1d100 ⇒ 3

Evil GM

Bradan and Ulfrec take the third watch and the druid's eyelids are heavy. In fact they are so heavy he nods off for a few minutes while on watch. his head bob's just as something gets Bradan's attention.

Bradan:
Bradan i'll say you are about 20 feet behind Ulfrec. you'd be closer to the fire so you could see while the dwarf druid could use his darkvision. You see a large two headed snake as it travels in a strange, undulant crawl akin to that of a sidewinder, looping the coils of its long body back and forth and keeping both of its heads at the alert. It is within 15 feet of the druid, doesn't seem to be responding to it. In fact, all you see is back of the druid's head as he is leaning against tree. Perhaps the snake is a new companion for the druid.

Evil GM

The first two watches went by uneventfully.

Favored Enemy (human) +4 (animals) +2; Second Wind 2/2 HP 43/43, AC 18 / T 14 / FF 14 // Fort +6 / Ref +8 / Will +2 Initiative +4, Perception +9 Longbow +9 (1d8+3), Glaive-guisarme +7 (1d10+3)

"Psst! Ulfrec! Theres a weird snake with two heads about 5 paces behind you. You want me to take the shot?"

Male Dwarf Druid 5 (Wolf Shaman) HP 56/56, AC19/T12/F17, Saves F+8/R+3/W+6, Perc +10, Init +6

Hurumph.

Snake... two heads, hmm... two heads like a hydra of legend or two heads with one at either end? Could make a big difference...

Of course take the gods be damned shot!

Ulfrec reaches for his shield, battleaxe having laid on his lap. Geri, attack!

perception, Ulfrec, darkvision: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
kn nature, Ulfrec, darkvision: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
perception, Geri, low-light vision: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Evil GM

Bradan you can take the shot.

I'll roll out initiative thereafter.
