Shirren with just enough agility dodges some of the heat blast.

"Guys, it is resistant to energy damage. Smack it worth conventional weapons"

As he shares his findings telepathically, D'vost drops his laser canon and rushes towards the enemy pulling out his knive. He ignores for the moment burns focusing on the matter at hand...

Shirren is laying on the ground, trapped under bodies of the fallen both shirren and vesks. He tries to push the great weight to the side as he constantly hears in his mind.

Protect the swarm!

The blood covers his head, sour one from vesks as well as well as the shirren blood. What is this taste...

D'vost shakes hours head almost tripping before the enemy. His instincts kick in he jumps to the side and slashes the enemy with the blade. What was that taste? He wonders.

damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Now he recalls: cucumbers. That is silly shirren blood taste nothing like cucumbers!

Kadef spots some possible issue in the engine room as he moves closer to where D'vost is fighting.

Bar asks Sharni-too to accompany him to the engine room and she practically bounces up and down from excitement in getting to be involved
"Lead the way!"
Her words are a bit of a misnomer as she sprints out the door in front of Bar until he catches up with her.

D'vost has just enough agility to dodge some of the heat blast while realizing he needs to use something other then a laser rifle and pulls out a knife which he uses to scrape along his targets hide without being able to cut through and ends up being unable to cause damage to his target.

The creature next to D'vost goes crazy and starts to claw at him, while also trying to hit him in the face with a wing while trying to wrap itself around D'vost

With that, Ticcus uses his faster than normal speed to get ahead of her and open the engine room doors....hoping that he can figure something out.

Cool. Might be busy this weekend. I will keep up to date and actually take a turn when it seems right so feel free to drop it in or ignore it as you will. Was there anything to repair in that room and would Sev be able to check before he leaves?

Seeing the creature fall, Mute materializes and half salutes Sev, "Nice kill, mate. Good to see you in your element and thanks for the insight."

Returning his pistol to its holster and giving a flare to the swing of his baton, he sees the next foe to fall attacking the comedian.

"Oi beasty, that one there has a special to make on Eoxian Comedy Network. As his new manager, I think its time for you to die."

On his turn- Mute bends the dark to his will moving up to the creature, using the shadows to trick it.

Kadef rounds the corner and sees three of his comrades engaging the creature. D'vost seems to be grappling it so that Mute can whack it, while the proven-deadly Sev closes in. Confident they have the situation in hand, the kasatha reverses course for the engine room. En route he draws both a frag and smoke grenade.

Double move to go 20' as shown. Now armed with baton, a smoke grenade, frag grenade and sticky bomb grenade in hand.

D'vost smiles at the missed attacks from the monster.

He fixes his grip on the knife and makes one stab and one swing of his own

Shirrens first stab misses completely the enemy but the swing connects hitting the thick hide that the alien has. D'vost is unsure if the blow was strong enough to harm the fragile parts of the beast.

Sev leaves the remains of the one creature and heads towards the sounds of battle, slowing down to navigate the slick on the floor.

Ticcus stepping protectively in front of Shrani-too opens the doors to the engine room gazes on a scene of utter chaos. Another of the creature is in there and it has some time to pry of numerous panels and rip into the cables behind them. There are electrical wires sending sparks everywhere and the remaining light are flickering on and off as the only have occasional power.

Mute using the cover of a wall surprises the creature D'vost is tangling with and manages a very solid hit right between the creatures eyes with his baton
I think trick attack dice also get's doubled on a crit since it's part of the attack's damage

which causes the creature eyes to glace over and bulge out at the same time as a rather significant dent is visible in it's skull

D'vost is them able in a flurry of attacks to bring down the creature with a swift strike of his blade after first setting it up with a decoy attack.

Seeing everything well in hand Kadef makes his way back to the engine room while restocking the weapon supply situation

The critter in the engine room hurls a burst of electricity to some pipe above the doors leading into the engine room and it burst open spreading a large patch of slipper grease on the floor.

tablet won't allow me to modify the encounter maps. Move me 15 feet in, basically 5 feet north of the white patch.

d20 roll, assuming a reflex save...if not adjust as needed: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

With that Ticcus goes in with his attack baton leading,bluffing he was going to get in physical contact with the critter. Instead , he just stops a dozen or so feet in and shoots.

Bang!! ( tactical auto pistol): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19 to hit flatfooted KAC if trick happened.

Seeing the beast fall, Mute hears Bar over the comms, "Did you say engineering? Thought you were... are you with Shrani?... Of all the half-baked, hairbrained..."

He continues his swearing over the encrypted comm, forgetting to turn it off as he makes makes his way to the engine room, double his movement speed.

Shirren looks with surprise on the fallen enemy when he hears the call from Bar. He looks at his rifle lying on the ground and he says to himself

"No time for that."

He begins to run, crossing the wide corridor he sees Mute in front of him, as he bypasses him he throws

"Shake your legs, Shorty!"

And he rushes into the engine room with a surprised expression on his face.

"You there, empty-headed squid. <click> Leave that engines alone!"

Full action: run. D'vost is flat-footed till his round.

Ticcus goes in the engineering room sliding across the puddle of slippery grease with easy, his attack baton leading,bluffing he was going to get in physical contact with the critter. Instead , he just stops a dozen or so feet in and shoots hitting the creature with a surprise attack in the right upper arm, the bullet drawing blood

Mute, D'vost and Sev-'s double time it towards the engine room

@D'vost; Unless I missed something somewhere you can't run. You are not going in a straight line and you can't see where your going through the walls/doors in between where you started and where you ended up

Kadef hurries to the engine room, but throws all four arms out to stop himself at the door. He steps cautiously though the grease.

I moved him just into the grease. I'm going to guess That reflex save means that he stays there.

It's only a reflex save vs the grease if it's cast on you. If you walk into it, it's an acrobatics check (which you also failed, and you failed it with more then 5 so you go prone, but yes..Kadef stays there for now

Seeing Kadef skate around through the grease without gaining traction before falling down on his rump Shrani-too seems confused on what to do
"That looks like totally fun..but it looks messy..I like for real don't want my shoes and clothes to get filth on them..but it looks soooooo much fun..."

Unsure on what to do she stays there to be entertained by Kadef's antics

The creature rubs his hands across some leaking pipe and then holds its oily hand near a damaged sparkling electrical wire and sets the oil on fire creating a small ball of fire at which it tosses at Bar as it retreats away.
To be clear, it's casting spells ..but this seemed like a nice description of how it's doing that.

To hit EAC Bar: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

but the little ball of flames falls short in front of Bar's feet.

A creature can walk within or through the area of grease at half normal speed with a successful DC 10 Acrobatics check. Failure means the creature can’t move that round and must then succeed at a Reflex save or fall prone, while failure by 5 or more means it falls prone.

He then slashes at the creature using his previous experience in where to hit the creature to do an slightly cruder version this time around as the critter is caught offguard and then has a knife rammed up to the hilt in it's chest as Sev somersaults on top of it

Mute busts into the engine room spinning his baton around just as the critter fell. He finished out a flair and ends with a half pose of a kasatha fighting form he once saw but failed for trying to emulate 2 other arms he did have.

He sees Shrani peek through the door on the other side and he straightens up to yell, "I am sorry for leaving you, my sweet. I had to protect your princessness. Just a few more ticks though, dear. Gotta make sure we are the lucky few that survive those landings."

He begins dashing around the room trying to fix the first issue he sees.

Shirren sighs after the battle are over. He cleans his knife and goes back to recover his laser rifle.

After that, he goes to the steering wheel to see if autopilot needs help in getting this ship back to the docking bay.

"Excellent work team. I will sweep the ship to search for others."

While Mute and D'vost work to fix the ship and pilot her home, Kadef searches the remaining compartments for more creatures or obvious malfunctions.

As Mute begins dashing around the room he sees plenty of things that needs fixing.

D'vost finds out that what the autopilot needs most to get the ship back to the docking bay is a working engine.

Kadef finds a lot of obvious and less obvious malfunctions, the toilets don't properly flush, the lights tend to flicker and some of the automatic doors won't open automatically but there are no more creatures to be found and everything other then a rather large patch of zero gravity, some spilled oil and the damaged engines nothing prevents you from returning to the station.

Shrani-too seems excited about what happened
"That was exiting..did you see what the thing went swoosh..and then Sev went like that and did that thing and it was like totally the best thing ever?!" she comments as adds various hand gestures to mimic what's she's talking about and sometimes takes hold of Mute to shake him about a little bit in her enthusiasm.

Eventually you patch up the engines enough so you are able to make the return trip back to the station and even though the Star Tours vessel lands with a rather loud thump and leaks smoke from ...pretty much everywhere - every landing you walk away from is a good one.

There's nobody at the dock to complain to (or to complain to you about not returning the vessel in the same condition as you left with) and you make your way back towards the more populated areas of the station

You later receive an email from a Star Tours representative who after reviewing some evidence that there were ship glitch gremlins aboard causing trouble before you took care of it send you some credits as a thank you for a job well done as well as a digitized folder of legal paperwork that absolves the corporation of any ill-doing and prevents you from going public with what happened onboard.

Shrani-too ignore Sev's suggestion or rather doesn't ignore it but simply get's too excited about something else and doesn't focus on anything that the android said ..or for that matter anything that Kadef mentioned after the word "park" as she begins to - what can only be described at - squeel

dragging Mute by the arm in a totally random direction Shrani-too set's off. It takes some guiding but eventually you manage to get her to Jatembe Park where she looks amazed at the flora and fauna, off which various small critters which seem to be a cross between a fox and squirrel attract her interest

She hugs Mute close and says "Those look cute, you know I was thinking to ask daddy if I could take you home with me as a sort of pet as she grins and gives him a wink before turning her head away and looking at the cute woodland critters again "... but do you think I could get one of those to take with me instead to keep me company? I would hug them and pet them and squeeze them and they would be my little friend"

Being jerked around for the bulk of this adventure, Mute was thankful to turn the last bolt on the ship before his arm was acquired again and feeling lost again.

The ongoing monologue of the high pitched little voice began to numb his mind as well and he could do nothing but be dragged along as the party went about the tour.

When they arrived at the park, Mute's vision began to clear to see the little critters. Snatching his eye shut to brace against yet another deafening squeal, he expected to hear a "I want one of those". Instead he hears

He swings around and begins chasing after the creatures.

He's a sniper, not a xenobiologist. Is this gonna be a pig catching mini-game?

Shirren follows the team, smiling at the idea of treating Mute as a pet.

"Do you need a carrier for Mute?<click>" And he burst with laughter.

D'vost looks at the park and small animals running around, relaxing for a moment by being in some version of nature surrounding.

Then he draws his pulsecaster, hitches up his robes, and advances after Mute.

As you are only able to see one of the squoxes either in the distance or briefly before it rushes away from you into the brushes before you can get close to it you need to locate a nest of them before you can even attempt to catch one.

With a scowl at D'Vost and the thought of being stuck in a cage, Mute doubles down on the hunt.

Mute rushes forward, "Put me in a cage... Treat me like a pet..." He rubs his arm, "Here little critter, time to go home with your new mum."

Both Sev and Mute manages to individually track down the location of a den of squoxes

As Mute tries to convince one of the critters to go home with him it sniffles at his hand before biting down into one of Mute's fingers. For such a small and cute critter is has surprisingly sharp teeth and hangs on to Mute until the halfling manages to shake it loose.

It along with the other within the den, attempt to flee and scatter, screeching loudly. The various squoxes burst from nearby tunnel exits and begin rushing off in different directions after the initial disturbance.

You have a normal round of actions, but since it's a standard to use the survival check to calm down a squox (see game crunch) you can't do that twice in one round - you could use a move action to move closer if you needed to (to get within 30 ft of a squox) but that's about it as far as I can come up with things to do in a round

Throwing D'Vost a wry smile, he wiggles his hurt finger at the critter again, "I know you got a taste for this little nibblet, but there's more where that comes from."

Ticcus sees that the rest of the group seems to be able to work well on getting the Squoxes for Shrani. With that he decides to play some relaxing music...something....epic!

D'vost clicking sounds seems to irritate the creatures hearing and it starts to move away.

Sev approaches the purplish squox and the androids reverberating tone seams to appease the critter.It sits still while staring up at Sev - still not trusting the android enough to let it pick it up, but curious to find out what's going to happen next.

From now on as long as you spend a move action each turn on a calmed squox you will befriend it further (note: spending 2 actions each round won't speed this up - can't rush befriending wild animals)

Bar plays some - in his opinion - "relaxing" music
Feel free to include a performance check to see how well the squoxes like it ;)

The 2 calmed squoxes stay near you, while the others scatter around the park. Hideing behind branches and the one covered in goo climbing up a tree to get as far away from you all as it can.

Shrani-too alternates between covering her mouth as she giggles and pointing at the actions which are causing her to giggle.
