GM I think that you need to bot Mika
Hey. I'll be moving this week, so my posting will be spotty. Please bot me with more frequency than normal.

GM Ietsuna |

I forgot the -1 from Ivan's boon, but it has not impacted anything yet.
Bartolomey sweeps his scythe through Red's defenses and delivers a deep slicing cut. Brun less luck with Yellow.
The wolf runs around to Bartolomey.

"My goodness, these are Aspis agents? You're not pulling my leg, are you? Because that would be hiss-terical!" Reginald's words can barely be heard between bouts of wheezing laughter as he steps behind Ivan.
Evil Eye (-2 AC for 9 rounds, Will 18 to reduce to 1 round) on Yellow, Cackle to extend duration of both Evil Eye hexes by 1 round.

![]() |

Kolris drinks his extract of shield, them moves to get into position to enter the room once there's room to move.

GM Ietsuna |

I am botting Mika. Just a busy day at work. If someone wants to jump in a bot her first that would be fine

![]() |

"Hehe! Would you look at that? You stab from far away, and I stab from REALLY close. Mine's arguably better!"
Ready to parry and riposte!

GM Ietsuna |

Mika's rapier drops Yellow to the floor.
Red takes its rapier and makes a stab at Bartolomey
Rapier: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

"Aww, who's a good boy? Who's a good boy?" Reginald coos at the wolf as if it were a lap puppy. "I'm pretty sure it wasn't them, but maybe it's you?" He waves a hand at the fallen foes on the floor.
5 ft step, Misfortune Hex (Reroll all d20's and take lower result for 1 round, Will 18 negates) on Green, Cackle to extend duration by 1 round.

Brun the Transparent |

Brun moves in flank with his master and tries to slam the dog.
slam- flank: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 2 = 14
damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

![]() |

Blades and blood fly around the wolf; Kolris can't imagine it to have survived the fury that just descended on it, but he moves into the room just in case, his rapier darting forward to make sure the job is finished.
Move: 15'
Standard: attack wolf
Rapier: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Damage, P, cold iron: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

The wolf goes down hard also before Bartolomey and Brun.
Combat over
In the western most cell you notice there is a man bound and locked inside the cell. He looks beaten, bloodies and weary.

![]() |

"Who are you and how did you end up here?" asks Bartolomey the man inside the cell.
He looks around in hope that he will notice the key of the cell.
perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14

GM Ietsuna |

Who... who are you? I see you wear those amulets that the Aspis wear. the man says through cracked lips.
There is a ring of keys on one of the bodies.

![]() |

"We are Pathfinders! We are here to secure the portal and eliminate the Aspis threat!"
Bartolomey picks up the ring of keys.
"Tell me who you are and maybe I release you!"

GM Ietsuna |

I am Besnik. Like you I am a Pathfinder, although I was tasked with infiltrating the Aspis here and discovering their plans. Evidently I was found out, as you can see.

GM Ietsuna |

They took my wayfinder, but let me help you to prove I am on your side. There, that flag stone to your left that is slighlty brown in colour. Lift it up. It will come lose.
You do not sense any deception from Besnik.

![]() |

"OK I believe you! Tell us everything you know about this place and Aspis agents here."
Bartolomey unlocks the cell.
But then he lifts the flag stone.

GM Ietsuna |

Besnik limps out of the cell. Thank you
Under the flagstone you find a cache of scrolls. There is one scroll of dimensional anchor and one scroll of magic circle against chaos.
I have not been to the undershrine, and you clearly know all about the rooms on this level. I do not know how many agents are down there, but I do know that they are commanded by a Chellish conjurer named Aglorn Desimire. Desimire is not only in command here, but of all Aspis operations within the tapestry.

GM Ietsuna |

I will leave now. I am in no state to assist you. I assume you cleared the way on the way in so I will go out and back to my extraplanar eddy and return to Absalom. Good luck in your quest.

GM Ietsuna |

You move toward the stairs downward. The stairway is in complete darkness, the torches having been extinguished recently.
Map slide 5

![]() |

Ivan has darkvision.
Would anyone like to be enlarged before we go down the stairs?

![]() |

"Brun, you will go first!"
Before they continue Bartolomey heals his companion.
wand of CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
He casts light on his weapon and shield on himself.
Then he goes downstairs.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17

Brun the Transparent |

darkvision
Brun moves first.
perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

![]() |

Kolris mixes one final extract of shield--just in case--and follows the spiritualist and his ghostly friend.
Current shield extract has 2 min duration; mixing another will take up 1 min of that; I assume the original will be expired by the time we get downstairs with or without that 1 min delay.

GM Ietsuna |

Four crimson-hued plateaus pierce an unseen depth, providing contrast to the otherwise bleak cavern. The cavern floor, if it even exists, waits somewhere beyond the glow radiating from the strange red rock speckled throughout this cave. A quartet of swaying rope bridges connects the plateaus together, creating a path that snakes toward a set of descending stairs that disappear into scarlet shadows.
The Red enemy is the one that I have placed a picture of on the slides. He stands with an imp on his shoulder at the top of a set of stairs descending down. The Blue enemy on his right holds a longbow and has a quiver of arrows on its back.

Brun the Transparent |

Brun enters the cavern and tries to cross the bridge.
I don't know how far can we move?

![]() |

”...I’m telling you, think of the possibilities!” Reginald is in the midst of a passionate argument with Perrine and doesn’t seem willing to let it cease just because the gnome has moved on.
Knowledge (planes): 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22
”Oh look, an imp!” he calls out happily. ”And that one he’s sitting on must be his servant! Though what a devil’s doing down here in the midst of a demon shrine is anyone’s guess.” Waving his arms dramatically, the man vanishes from sight with a chuckle and a slight smell of cooked cabbage.
Casting invisibility.
