By the way guys, even though Nella obviously wouldn't be happy about it I, as the player, am more than willing to go with the majority consensus if the group decides that it's easier to just return Vassago's contract as-is, without any tampering. I definitely don't want to force the rest of the group into doing something that they may not be comfortable with!

She's definitely uncomfortable helping someone cheat their way out of a contract, but it's not going back on anything she promised...
I think Kulga's vote is a no, but that's just meant to be a single vote, not anything like a veto. Eh, I'm not the one with the skills anyways :-p

If Kulga isn’t going to lose her temper over it, Garduk’s only concern is whether after the forgery is completed we’re still going to have to make a bluff check.

Tarragon is Lawful and is not in favor of the forgery as it is tantamount to theft. But he also does not want to support slavery. He does know that devils and contracts are something separate from slavery though. He would like to explore the possibility of buying out the contract.

If we proceed with this plan (which seems likely, though possibly without Tarragon's help), we should have a plan ready. We may need to complete the work in a single round, though we may get more time as well.
Below, I've gathered everyone's bonuses together. If we have 3 rounds or more, it probably makes sense to have Garduk take charge of the whole operation; nobody else has a bonus even close. If, however, we only have a single round, we'll have to organize around the 2nd best bonuses to give us the best overall chance. Remember, we can only attempt each check once, and we only get 2 failures before we've ruined the document.
@GM, can we use aid another actions to assist the primary rollers?

Okay, so if we have to do it all in one round, I propose the following:

Edited to add: Both Nella and Brayne have Guidance on their spells known/prepared lists. I think it has a one-minute duration, so maybe they could each cast it on themselves and a couple of other party members before Nella dispels the wards, to assist with the first skill checks?

Yes, you will see the roll from Nella that tells you how many rounds that the dispel lasts.
I guess if I was diabolical I could roll that in secret and leave you guys in the dark... but instead I'll assume that Nella can sense how effective her spell is.

Hey everyone, I totally messed up this game for gameday. I was supposed to complete the reporting as of yesterday even though we aren't done. That was the deadline and the instructions said that if I didn't report by then then no one would be eligible for the boons.

So I think once that's done I'll feel a bit better; unpacking can be done at a more leisurely pace if necessary :)

Although it looks like a grate, it is actually just patterned tile. It is the stage that the musicians were on.
Of course it would be cool if it was a grate that when opened, released Basira's pet bandersnatch into the room. But... they didn't write it that way.
