Howdy, I signed my wife and I up for this on the spreadsheet recently. We are looking forward to the scenario and have two characters currently available (Two lvl 1 Soldiers). But, I'm hoping to get my lvl 2 Envoy free of his current game (I believe we are in the last fight) to join to give the group a bit more balance. While his clan's traditions were primarily rooted in desert agriculture, Sen wanted more in life than to be a simple farmer. Upon reaching adulthood, Sen left his modest upbringing to learn the ways of armed hand-to-hand combat. Sen adhered to his teachings to the point that he eschews any type of weapon that cannot be wielded or thrown in combat.

Anything special/Fun facts/Other notes: Minea was born into a family of politicians; typical for damayas. Her family hoped she would follow in their footsteps and become a politician or ambassador. They sent her to the best schools where she became a Professor of Women’s and Gender Studies. After she accepted a faculty position, however, she felt as if something was pulling her away. She felt driven to explore and fight the battles she believed in, but physically instead of politically. She is a bit of a conundrum as everyone believed she would become damaya, as she has several damayan traits, but she is most definitely korasha.

Varanus Komodensis, or Komodo as his comrades call him, hails from Vesk Prime. After serving the required time of service in the Veskarium armada, Varanus began hiring himself out. It was his first service with a group of humans, where he gained his nickname, on account of it being so G** D*** long. At 7'6", you would think that this sets him apart from most of Pact World space, but it is the iridescent blue color of his scales that make people stare. Gruff, but playful. Honor is important, but there are many ways to gain honor.

Anything special/Fun facts/Other notes: Quite skilled at talking stuff up with most people. In combat he will keep Get 'Em up and occasionally use Inspiring Boost to restore his allies stamina.

Slight Correction, no fame was spent, Minea doesn't qualify for it until she gets to 5 rep with Exo-Guardians.

Yomogiu, 'Dotting' is just a short post in the Gameplay tab so that the game shows on your personal Campaign tab. You can check there to see if there are any new posts in your active games.

Yomogiu and RowynStarr, can you both go into the slides. Yomogiu you need to enter in your Perception and Initiative information on the chart there. You both need to add your icons to the marching order as well.

May I ask, what's slides?

I pref Elixir of Renewal boon.

Since we are so heavy in the combat area, would the party prefer that I play one of the Iconics, Operative or Technomancer?

Yomogiu, couple of things:
- You have the Elixir for this adventure. I'll give you the Welcome Boon sheet with the log for this adventure (when we're done).

- Half-Orcs are unlike through adventures and using Boons. The only Society playable races without a Boon are: Human, Kasatha, Lashunta, Shirren, Vesk, and Ysoki. You'll need to change up your character, sorry.

- The slides are links to Google docs, that's where I'll be putting maps, pictures of NPCs, or any other information that might be useful that wouldn't work well in a post format. The link is in two places - under my name as "Fugative on the Red Planet Slides" and at the top of the page just above the tabs as "Maps, Pics, Slides".

Starfinder Society Guide 2.0 says
"The choices offered in Chapter 3 of the Starfinder Core Rulebook are always available, as are the Legacy races in Chapter 13."
So half-orc is legal I hope. am I wrong?

My apologies, you are correct. Legacy races are open without Boons. No changes needed.

They did add the legacy races with the latest guide. I think it was about half a year ago. Back when SFS came out they were not legal, so confusion is quite understandable.

Gameday VIII date postponed and rescheduled

That is correct, the new dates for Gameday are now 09 Sept 2019 - 17 Nov 2019. Good news is we'll be ready to start right on time.

Shortly (tonight hopefully) I'll post some flavor text in the Gameplay tab. You're all welcome to do introductions and some RP while we wait.

May I ask, what is gameday boon?

We've got six players: TRS-80, Bud, Sen, Komodo, Alejandro, Minea.

This game is part of an online Paizo sanctioned event, so each player has a chance to win a bonus Boon at the end. The Boons and selection process are set-up by the Event GMs and Paizo. If you roll one of the selected numbers on a d20 you win. There are 3 Boons available for this session, once everyone has rolled I'll announce any winners, and they'll roll to see which Boon they'll get.
