Spellsong featAkyr is a flagbearer bard, with usual buffs, etc. She is fond of enchantment spells. Also has a dip into dual-cursed Oracle of Lore for the Misfortune Revelation (and sidestep secret, and lore keeper revelations), so once per day she can grant you a re-roll on a d20 as an immediate action, if you're within 30' of her. Oh, and she has discordant voice, to add sonic damage with her inspire courage.
An interesting feat. I will need to remember this one.

Hey Everyone,
I have some unfortunate news. I regret to inform you all that we will have to postpone Gameday VIII by 2 weeks.
This would place our new dates for Gameday at: 09 Sept 2019 - 17 Nov 2019
WHAT IS GOING ON? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?
As most of you are aware, the majority of the GM’s have not received their scenario support for the Convention to include a good portion of the Specials. With Tonya occupied by other duties this weekend, we realized as a team that we are very unlikely to see the remainder of scenario support drop by Monday the 26th. Multiple avenues were discussed and what seems to be the best solution is to push Gameday back by two weeks. This will allow enough time for the GM’s to receive their scenarios and prep them.
BUT WHAT IF WE ALREADY HAVE OUR SCENARIOS, CAN WE START THEM?
Please hold off until the new start date to be able to eligible for your boon rewards. I understand this is a large inconvenience, we are doing everything we can to make this work. Part of that is to have everyone one the same start / end times rather than scattered.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause, but we want all our GMs to have a chance to shine.
HOW DO I NOTIFY MY PLAYERS?
Go ahead and post the news to your tables. Feel free to copy this email if you wish. We will be posting notices in all the PBP lodges as well as the Gameday VIII Announcement page.
I know this is not what we hoped to do, and I’m sorry. Thank you for understanding that we’re scrambling to fix this.

As a magus, I need to pick out my spells carefully. When I have a moment, I'll have to look at what the other PCs have.
But in the meantime, if anyone wants, they can take a look at my spellbook and make suggestions.
GM Worg, with a +20 Knowledge (planes) would it be safe to assume that Favian knows the traits of the elemental subtype?

Favian is buying a lesser extend metamagic rod (3000 gp), first aid gloves (4500 gp) and spending 2 prestige on a wand of bestow planar infusion 1.

Call Lightning Storm: 5d10 ⇒ (2, 2, 8, 8, 10) = 30
I assume like the spell I can conjure up to 15 bolts.

Question before I declare my action:
If I use aura of justice, that allows all allies within 10 feet to smite evil. Do they have to be within 10 feet when they use the smite, or do they only have to be within 10 feet when Hania uses the aura?
I'm considering activating aura of justice, which would let most of the team smite evil (which would be amazing, since we've been told the gunners are undead) and then moving towards melee range, but then I would no longer be within 10 feet of most allies. I want to know if aura of justice would still work.

I'd probably follow you in. There isn't a whole lot I can do. Frostbite won't work on undead and not expecting them I didn't prepare chill touch. Since I don't get past their DR I would be doing very little damage without a boost.

From consulting with a few people, I get the impression that Hania should be able to give the ability to smite even to everyone who is within 10 feet of her, and they do not lose that if she then moves away. I'll wait a bit longer before posting my action to make sure that agrees with GM Worg's interpretation.
If I do this, everyone who gets the ability needs to declare their smite target before my next turn.

I realize I haven't been the best player this gameday. :(
I've been spending all the time I can with my tiny baby. She was born in May, very premature, and is still not out of the hospital. She's getting close, though, and so needs my presence more right now. I don't have a lot of time for my games, but very badly need them to have a few moments of escape each day. Please feel free to bot me if I'm holding things up.

It's all fine and good. I've been slower on my GMing than I usually am. I realize I am also just a bit mentally exhausted which is slowing me down. Rest assured, we will still be done easily in time for Gameday Requirements.

Um, the little control freak inside of me managed to slip past my inner defenses and take control for a bit...sorry about that.
Anyway, thought it might make it a little easier to format potential questions for a COMMUNE spell in more outline form, and there's no simple way to format that in PbP...so I put it on a slide. My apologies to our GM for adding the slide without asking first.

I forgot about that. We are in a both plane dominant area.
All earth dominant things apply and everyone should be taking 3d10 fire damage every round just for being here. With a Resist Energy spell the fire damage is resisted.
Someone want to mark off a spell of Communal resist energy fire? You all have been in the pyre for effectively 45 minutes.

Teriq, first thing for Hania activate the Divine Bond. She already has a +5 weapon to beat Alignment DR. The bonus abilities will push it past epic. She's probably the only one of us who can bypass the boss's DR.

Given that Favian had also identified the resistances and immunities of the axiomites, he'd have probably picked something different than shocking burst.

and I just reread the bonus on slide two...
We get the base bonuses for each elemental point we have.
So, since we all start with four, that's
+40 temp hp's
+4 luck bonus to attack, saves, and skills
+4 luck bonus to AC
+4 bonus on CL checks to overcome SR
(here I thought the base +1 was nice, but +4 is even better!)
If it matters, Thrag was only giving himself a +1 on the attacks...
Not to mention the temp hit points on his damage taken =)
