Well, it's useful certainly, but not very interesting - Matheus has 3 of the things now ;^) But could have been much worse.

We seem to be falling into a dynamic pretty naturally.

My last post was kinda clumsy. I was interrupted - started writing it before Petronia's and then finished it long after. It makes it sound like Ner wasn't listening to her suggestion to move it to the ship at all. Apologies, I'm back home now and much less distracted ... and less drunk. For the record, I'm all for placing it on the ship.

Are we ready to move forward onto the ship?

Yes, Ner will run Petronia's errands (and anyone else's who catches on and asks) then join her on the Froth Wolf.

Here's a blueprint of the ship. Only change is the port side cabin that shows three beds is actually two cabins of two beds each.

I've never messed with Harrow stuff before. Cool.

I'll post in a few hours. The ship will makes a wide turn to come back around, so no rope to Matheus yet.

I've never used Harrow Deck either...it's very cool.

Would Petronia really sit this out? The door locks. Who will ever know...?

Wouldn't she notice when the ship wildly heels to the left/right to make a circle? Everyone belowdecks is going to be thrown around.

I didn't even know Harrowed Summoning was a thing until I was hunting for summoning related feats for Matheus in the Archive, and came across it. Was of two minds about it - I have been using fortune-telling mechanics a bit too much of later, particularly with Ulfen-flavored characters, but this seemed too good an opportunity to pass by.

And there seems to be a lot of shouting going on. I expect the cabin has a porthole? And if so, I expect it'll be kept open to let in a bit of fresh air. Should make it difficult to miss that something unexpected is happening.

I don't have an exact number for distance..it changes every second. The ship passed the body on the starboard side, and is now engaging in a counter clockwise turn away, full circle, and will come up on it again on starboard. We'll have to play this theatre of the mind style. If you want to try something that seems reasonable to you, go for it.

Ner, you can give bonus attacks to Kazmir?

Ner has the 'Assault Leader' rogue talent:

Once per day, when the rogue misses with an attack on a flanked opponent, she can designate a single ally who is also flanking the target that her attack missed. That ally can make a single melee attack against the opponent as an immediate action.

I've given Ner several 'support' themed traits and talents that I hope I get to test out thoroughly (i.e. the 'Distracting Attack' rogue talent, 'Debilitating Injuries' rogue ability, and the 'Helpful' Halfling racial trait). He isn't a sycophant, he's really trying to be helpful dispite his size :)

I think Matheus will hit the bars like (and at least partly with) Kazmir, but while filling his belly he'll also ask around for local news in general, and anything regarding Trollheim and the hazards for travelers in particular. Thanks to his Affable trait, Matheus is pretty good at it ;^)

I've never done sniping before. The stealth rules say one must be within 10' of your target and get a -20 on stealth to re-conceal oneself. Ner has 'rogue's edge: stealth' reducing that penalty to -10.

In the sneak attack rules it says one can sneak attack with a ranged weapon within 30'.

It sounds like he could hide and make one sneak attack then not be able to hide again.

On the map, what do the different lines for the house represent? I take the thin line to represent where walls are gone and thick lines to represent where wall are still partially there.

Sorry, yes, I meant to clarify that. Thin lines are the edges of the where the house was, thick lines are crumbled wall that will still offer some cover.

Duh, I've misread the sniping rules.

"If you’ve already successfully used Stealth at least 10 feet from your target, you can make one ranged attack and then immediately use Stealth again. You take a –20 penalty on your Stealth check to maintain your obscured location."
The 'at least 10' from your target' I took to mean 10' or less which makes no sense. If it's alright - Ner will try to hide again after his shot.

You really went through them fast. Kinda made my summons seem a waste of time, but then again, I shouldn't think of them as the party's heavy hitters anyway ;^)

On a side note, PF 2ed rules are out. Yay! Got my own copy already and so far I like what I see.

It's easy to miss, so I'll point out that the last post has a link to the actual notes.

Ner - are you actually going to try and strip armour off the guy they're talking to? He hands over the notes, but doesn't give you anything else of his. The other items I mention came from the knocked out guy and the dead ones.

Then absolutely not - he's looting, not performing some kind of mindless assault.

He can't, however, tell the difference between an object of quality and an ordinary item so he treats it all the same.

Thanks for the clarification.

Does this mean we haven't searched the longspearman at all? He offered up the notes but we don't know what else he has on him?
