I had intended to do some buffs before opening the door once I knew we were going to go through and fight them. I would have cast lead blades using my last spell slot and size alteration using my second to last transmutation point

From the sounds of it, (although she still can't see anything), it seems the battle has gone their way. Shukara bites her lip, thinking for a moment, then tries to make her way to one of the fallen enemies. Sure, they'd been trying to kill her, but they were still people. Not undead monstrosities. Maybe they could be saved.

Shukara continues to grope around for a few seconds, trying to blink the dust from her eyes. Eventually it passes and she's greeted by three very dead enemies and one alive tied-up one.
...Oh.
"So...these were the Scorched Hand?" She's never killed a person before. Animals and undead monsters sure, but not people.
The fact that she didn't actually hurt any of them doesn't make her feel any better.
"I guess this is it then? For the temple, I mean. If they didn't get any further we probably won't either." She's feeling extremely pessimistic right now, and even the sight of treasure doesn't raise her spirits.

If you tap him with 2 charges of the wand it will take an hour for him to come round, 4 charges would bring him round now.
Moving forward you head to the east. Hieroglyphs cover the wall of this chamber. In the middle of the room, a large and majestic stone sarcophagus rests atop a raised stone platform, and several clay jars sit on the floor nearby. Two lacquered benches stand near the doors.
The hieroglyphs reveal that this is the tomb of the original founder and first high priest of the Sanctum of the Erudite Eye named Djedihepet and he died in 1599AR. He is described as a wise counsellor, trusted keeper of secrets, and good friend of the Pharaoh.
