This scenario exclusively uses level 7 pregens representing members of the Aspis Consortium as they perform a heist against the Pathfinder Society. So, you don't need to have a character in the correct level range (6-8) but you do need to know which of your characters the chronicle will apply to.

I'll keep recruitment open until Monday morning (5/13/19) and then if we have more than six players I'll randomly select who will be in the game. That way we won't close out before most people have a chance to see the recruitment.

If want to join with a friend, post how many people are joining with you and, if they post, make sure they do the same (reference by the screen name you are using so I'll know who is who).

Edit: also, if you want to play a specific Aspis agent, post what they are. If there are conflicts among players we'll sort it out in discussion after recruitment ends.

I would be interested! Without knowing the pregen characters, it's hard to pick one ahead of time though. Do you need the information for the character receiving credit now or once players have been chosen?

You don't need to announce which character you'll apply the credit to now. Just make a decision before the game starts:

This isn't a good place to give much detail but I should throw out who the pregens are:

Rataji - male human wizard
Marnarius - male human slayer
322 - female elf oracle
Shohiraj - female human unchained rogue
Joliryn - female halfling magus
Zurnzal - male half-orc brawler/assassin

Also note that some of these characters are evil. They are a team and are expected to work together, however.

Count me in, please! I'll play any of the pregens, but if the selection were entirely up to me I'd pick 322 or Zurnzal.

Casting Masse as Shohiraj and grimdog73 as Marnarius is pretty easy given the requests made above. The rest of it conflicts a bit, but everyone would still get something they want if we go:

CigarPete: Rataji
Tusk the Half Orc: 322
Knight of Rust: Zurnzal

or

Hawthwile: Joliryn
CigarPete: 322
Tusk the Half Orc: Zurnzal

If there are other valid combinations, it's too early in the morning for me to see them. I don't have time to start the game right now, but I will after I get back from work. If you guys can sort out the last casting decisions before then, that works. Otherwise I'll roll randomly to finish it up and then I'll post the scenario start.

CigarPete, Knight of Rust, it looks as though it is up to us to work out pregen selection. After looking over the sheets CigarPete shared, my first choice is definitely 322 - I like playing oracles generally, and she looks fun, but I could take something else if needed to make things work. Your thoughts?

My understanding is that you can apply the credit for this scenario (assuming you survive!) to any character in the level range, which is 6-8. If you had to apply it to the level of the pregens, I don't understand why it has a level range at all.

GM, question - Joliryn's stat block has her wielding a kukri, but her feats and descriptors all reference a scimitar. Are those meant to disagree, or should she pick one or the other and swap things over to match (as in, make the kukri into a scimitar or change Weapon Focus to kukri)?

My understanding is that we're not supposed to try to fix problems with pregenerated characters. In this case, that would mean ignoring her defunct feats & just using whatever attack bonus the character sheet has recorded for her.

I ran some math on her attack bonus. It looks like she's getting the weapon focus in her +12 number, anyway:

+5 base attack +4 dexterity +1 size +1 enhancement +1 weapon focus = +12... unless I'm missing something.

If Tusk takes 322, that would give:
CigarPete -> Rataji
Knight of Rust -> Zurnzal

We just lost one of our players, and we're still early enough in the scenario that someone can jump in! We could use someone to play the human slayer Marnarius if someone out there is interested!
