Okay, I have an elf wizard who spends all of his pathfinder mission money filling his spellbook. He doesn't like to get his hands dirty and that shows sometimes.
I have a newer "spellslinger" character, who I'm still trying to figure out how to play (lol, it's a rough archetype), but is playing as a younger "child" character whos' a bit of a prodigy being "mission-ready" so early, but kind of brash and into firearms in an "engineering curiosity" kind of way.
Any preferences before I pick one? Both are 2nd level, but one has a much deeper spellbook.
If you hate them both I'm happy to bring a new character but they'll then be first level lol (I have a boon for a grippli).

Spellslinger sounds fun. Never seen one in action.
But either way should be fine, we dont have an arcane caster.

I have sent a message to the two on the waiting list, if they decline I will get two more
So are we looking at 5 or 6 in a group?
I'm keen to start playing. :)I welcome any feedback on my character so if anyone has suggestions I'm happy to look at modifying Ram. I flavoured a dwarf fight as an Osirion and thought it would be fun for him to be a bit of an amateur treasure hunter, turning the jewels he finds into jewellery.

Okay, I have one vote for spellslinger. Unless I get more input I'll sign her in within a few hours.

Purchasing 10 doses of black powder for 100gp (yeah, stuff is expensive)

Prepared spell slots: burning hands, burning hands, ray of enfeeblement, shield

GM, I've made a mistake here. I checked my old campaigns to see if I had played this before, but I neglected to check a campaign which included multiple scenarios (i.e., it wasn't immediately obvious on my campaign tab).
So it turns out that I've played this before.
Is this re-playable at level 2? If so, we have no problem.
If not, it is my understanding that all tier 1's are replayable *at level 1*, per the most recent roleplaying guide. That being the case, I could very quickly have an L1 arcane character ready *tonight* so that this table doesn't suffer from my mistake.
So, the worst case *should* be that we have a character to deactivate but I can still play.
Thoughts?

I've asked a clarifying question about the situation over in the lodge.

![]() |

Hmm, this doesn't bode well for a replay at all unless the scenario text has something specific. However, given that the exceptions are well-defined as Quests with modules, I'm quite sure the answer is no.
So now it seems like I have to drop :/

![]() |

To my knowledge, quests and certain modules and scenarios are repeatable for credit, this I dont believe is one of them

![]() |

Yeah, I’m really sorry about that. Didn’t mean to throw your count.

You don't want to start a new character?

![]() |

my understanding is that replay rules are across all of your characters. Typically when people replay a 1-2 or other evergreen they pick a diff. character. An individual character is only allowed to have one copy of any specific chronicle.

![]() |

that is true, however you can burn a GM star to replay a scenario on a different character, or if you have a boon that allows you to replay a scenario you can use that.
and you didn't throw off my count, still in the same tier and all is good

![]() |

no star, no boon unfortunately.

As soon as this PC appears in the characters tab (and Nephits in the players tab) I'll stat posting in gameplay

I thought you were auto-added to those tabs when you post in the gameplay thread.

ok I will continue on with an NPC in the group, I have opened it up to recruit 2 more people to fill in the missing people

Hello folks! Dhovak is a support druid who can summon if the need arises. GM, I'll get his profile updated tomorrow (just one evergreen chronicle to apply).

Character Name: Visuris
PFS Number: 2365506-1
Faction: Sovereign Court
Progression: Slow
Day Job: Profession: Barrister: 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (12) + 25 = 37
Played Scenario Before: No
Visuris here is an Asmodean Advocate, letting him use his Profession Barrister (+25) for Diplomacy and Bluff checks. When that fails he focuses on Cleric Spells, mostly playing sabotage and support.

![]() |

Feel free to deactivate me when you get a moment. Thanks!

![]() |

Visuris, question, I was doing the math from everything you have into your Profession, and I am coming up with 22, not 25
1 rank put in will put it to 9 counting Class skill
Industrious brings it to 11
Focused Study brings it to 13
Brevoy Bandit Dex brings it to 17
Tattooed Focus brings it to 19
Prodigy brings to 21
Archetype brings it to 22
where is the other 3 coming from?

![]() |

+1 Rank
+3 Class Skill
+1 Insight Bonus (Devil in the Details, Asmodean Advocate)
+2 Circumstance Bonus (Masterwork Tools)
+2 Racial Bonus (Industrious)
+2 Trait Bonus (Tattooed Focus)
+5 Wisdom
+3 Dexterity (Brevoy Bandit)
+3 Skill Focus
+2 Prodigy
That puts us at +24. My Viper Itia is the Emissary Archetype, I have a +1 Competence Bonus included in my total for that skill as he's presumed to be always reusing his at-will Guidance to buff my Profession.

No worries, look after yourself.

![]() |

Woah, damn. Sorry to hear about your injuries. Good luck with it, hopefully nothing too bad.
Cordon, 'No worries' is an Australianism. Are you ozzie? I'm in Sydney

![]() |

Yeah mate, I'm in Newcastle.
I usually start off with a caveat that my posting is usually out of sync with those on PST (obviously forgot this time).
I have noted that most tend to post between 12-4am AEST

![]() |

Huh. I've been using 'No worries' for a while, and as far as I know I've never been to the Land Down Under. Learn something new every day!

![]() |

Huh, maybe I'm wrong or ignorant to the wider use of it. I sometimes forget how big the US is and how you have a considerably larger variety of cadences and accents and speaking habits. The Americans I've spoken too laugh when we saw No worries. That and 'reckon' and 'Yeah, Nah' or 'Nah, Yeah' and 'not bad'.
