Tarial |

Raising an eyebrow in surprise - it wasn't often she got a chance to 'sense' magic items like this, and her magic hadn't been terribly useful so far - Tarial pointed to the pouch. "That one is magical," she called out, continuing to focus to get more information.

Tarial |

Well, she'd heard of magic bags before, of course. Every great hero needed something to keep the vast hordes he stole from the dragon, won from the Genie and claimed from a demon, didn't he? It wasn't likely that this one was full of a forgotten hero's gathered might and wealth, but...it never hurt to look.
She went to see what was in the bag, turning it upside and shaking it if simply reaching a hand in didn't do anything.

Reimaka |

Rei, intrigued by the idea that not only equipment, but magic equipment might be just sitting in a hole under a tree, prepares to head back with the group. During their travel she is frequently distracted by veering off the path to investigate every hole she sees to find out if there is more stuff to be found.

Tarial |

Well, hopefully Tarial can walk and check the bag at the same time with 14 Int. So yes.

Alyssa Fox |

When Tarial starts trying to empty the bag, Alissa reaches for the rod with the strange symbols. "I wonder what this is. Strange symbols...."

Jeanuel Azmeren |

Yep, Jeanuel is eager to try and see the worth of everything they found and what saving the guy gets them.

GM_Panic |

The small group soon make thire way back to the village,
There is some commotion as Jennus is hugged by his mother
while you start to tell your tail.
Hiluric the head of the hunters comes to you, after someone tells him what you are saying. He is a tall half elf with a good bow and green hide armor. While looking at your loot he asks.
"Tell me everything that happened"

Reimaka |

Reimaka, having always thought Hiluric was rather attractive, shyly stays by the rear of the group watching him while pretending to be looking at something else.

GM_Panic |

well done Valerie, someone at last is talking to Jennus
"Humm, Myself and the hunters will go there now and deal with this evil tree, you talk to Jennus, find out why he was at that tree. o and the village thanks you"
He says and heads of with a few of the hunters who had come over.
Jennus is still being hugged by his mother.

Korliss Ironscale |

"Yes, it is very important we learn about this threat in the woods. Horrible abominations against nature and such creatures must be eliminated as soon as possible. Are there more such trees, or other hidden dangers around?"
Korliss stands just a BIT too close to Jennus as he asks the question, the huge lizardman looming over the woodcutter unintentionally.

Tarial |

Finding nothing of interest in the magic bag - a shame, but not a surprise - Tarial simply listened as the others reported in.

Tarial |

"It will be a big help if you tell us anything you can," Tarial supported Valerie as best she could. "We want to make sure nothing like this can happen again."
Diplomacy (Aid Another): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26

Alyssa Fox |

"Right. That tree and the thing helping it was dangerous, but maybe it didn't look dangerous?"
diplomacy aid: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20

Alyssa Fox |

Alyssa moves up beside Jennus, "Jennus, Relax. You didn't do anything wrong. The tree was dangerous and you just didn't know. We just want to be sure that the tree doesn't hurt anyone. So really, where did you see the pretty lady?"

Tarial |

Tarial looked at the bag she'd been checking suspiciously. It was magical, certainly - but was it worth feeding a young man to an undead tree? It didn't seem that way to her. But it was empty. Maybe it, or one of the other items, was emotionally important?
"You were just trying to help the lady, Jennus." Tarial smiled reassuringly at him. "No one can fault you for kindness. But anything else you can tell us about her would be a great help."

GM_Panic |

with all the find words he add.
"She had a green dress and sparkily green gems in her hair, she said she needed my help and would I stop my cart and come with her. She pointed to the big tree and said she had dropped a magic bag under it a long time ago. The tree would not let her go get it as it did not like her so she wanted me to. She had a nice smile and I just wanted to help, then when I started to fig this green man came out the ground and was really angry, he made the tree pull me into the ground. Then you came and smashed him. Thank you so for saving me. I was worried the tree would eat me."

Tarial |

Tarial smiled. "It was our pleasure." Still, this left the disturbing idea that there was a strange magical woman who was enemies of an undead somewhere in the forest, who felt tricking young men into danger was acceptable. It wasn't.
But Tarial knew no one would let her, or her friends, help find such a woman.

Reimaka |

Rei stands quietly, wracking her memory for any trace of a woman like the one Jennus described. "I wonder if my family has ever seen anything like this woman. I could always go ask them if you don't need me here for a little bit."

GM_Panic |

Nature no, there is no, but Kn history DC 20 maybe but you would have to go talk to some one.
Jennus mother now steps in.
"I need to take Jennus home now, if you need to know about old stories. You should go talk to old Jill, she knows all the old tails."
She points across the way and to and old elf maid in her 900s.

Korliss Ironscale |

"So we speak with the elder. Are there others going into the forest to destroy this dangerous tree? This group could do so, but will require tools and fire, more than we carry now."
Korliss turns and heads towards the elder Jill resides.

Valerie Kvalheim |

"I'll be right back." Valerie said before she ran off after the group of hunters. "Hold! Hold a moment!" She called as she caught up. "Jennus said that a woman lead him to the tree. She worse a green dress and had green gems in her hair. She wanted him to get something from the tree, a bag. I don't believe this is a lie, lets face it... Jennus couldn't think up something like this." Valerie said, trying to be as kind as possible in her reasoning. "So please, don't trust everything you see." She warned the hunting party.

Alyssa Fox |

Alyssa moves up by the old elf lady."Grandma Jill? We need your knowledge. A group of us were in the forest trying to help Jennus. He had wandered from his task and abandoned his cart. When we found him he was being pulled into the ground by tree roots. There was something that looked like a green plant-man too. We killed the plant-man and rescued Jennus, but he said that a woman in a green dress with green gems in her hair had asked him to go to the tree and recover a bag for her. Does any of this sound familiar?"

Reimaka |

Rei walks up next to Alyssa boldly. "Miss Jill, Ma'am? You know more of the history of my woods than I do. I've never seen a lady like that but maybe you know her from before?"

Tarial |

Holding the bag up to Berold, Tarial replied, "The bag's empty, I think. Unless there's a trick to getting things out of it." She shook it upside down again just to be sure.

GM_Panic |

Thank you Valerie we will keep our eyes open for this woman or any glamers

She seems lost in thught then mumbles a kind of song.
In the twilight before dead of night when all can be seen, she comes in green.
Many a young heart lost from sight into the night from green kisses blight.
In the twilight before dead of night when all can be seen, she comes in green.
They worked in day but at night they hid away, lease she stay.
In the twilight before dead of night when all can be seen, she comes in green.
Then came ones, whose souls where clean, could see between, to find her keys announced the trees.
In the twilight before dead of night when all can be seen, she comes in green.
Then on the hour ripped out her power, locked away rod to say, until the day.
In the twilight before dead of night when all can be seen, she comes in green.
Thouse who would stop her must undo humm darr humm darrr.
"I'm old I forget the last part, but a song my mother sang to me when long long ago, the lady in green"
She she starts to sing it again as if lost in a child's memory.
