Yeah, I was aware that actually saying smurf made it happen. I was confused because it happened without me saying the magic word.

I believe it happened when I said "Greetings Mr. Philt." I think it triggered due to an interpretation of the highlighted text. Took me a minute to realize it though.

Also, I just wanted to mention I'm going to be at a Con for the next 4 days. I'll make sure to post once a day, but that will likely be the extent of what I can manage.

On that note it's also worth mentioning that we're going to have a bit of an investigation montage going on. Once you guys are done talking with Philt I'm going to be putting up a number of locations with some skill spoilers; in a tabletop game I'd have everyone decide where to go to organically, but that could spend months armwrestling with Vesk and not influencing the plot.

If anyone wants to have a longer RP on a section in this part, just include the location at the top of the RP block and go with it, things can play off to the side if need be.

Oh, I forgot to include that in return for Hermot points out that the family doesn’t own much, but offers you a few familial trinkets, including a merciful fusion seal (5th), a pair of falcon boots that belonged to a distant ancestor, and a bright gemstone worth 150 credits.

Falcon Boots:
Falcon boots were originally armored steel boots with integrated knee protection etched with falcons across the front. They were most commonly employed by a group called the Steel Falcons, a branch of the Eagle Knights of the Golarion nation of Andoran, and they were apparently designed for use specifically on sailing ships.

As a move action while wearing falcon boots, you can set your own personal, local gravity to be perpendicular to any adjacent surface able to support your weight under normal gravity conditions. This personal gravity effect only functions in normal gravity or lower. While this personal gravity is active, you gain a climb speed equal to your land speed, and if knocked prone, you fall in accordance with your personal gravity (thus falling prone in your space, even if that is on a wall or ceiling, rather than falling toward the ground as defined by the environment’s normal gravity conditions). If you drop an item while your falcon boots are active, it also falls in your space. If you move from that square before picking up a dropped item, the item becomes subject to normal gravity.

If you are not adjacent to a surface able to support your weight, your falcon boots cease to function and you are subject to normal gravity. You can also deactivate falcon boots as a move action. There is no limit to how long falcon boots can function as long as you remain on a surface able to support your weight.

Yeah that was rough. I don't see his health in his tagline but I don't think that blast would have killed him based on his race/class. The damage would have had to equal his max hp right? Based on what you rolled it looks like it was possible though.

I moved Sefel up so that they can make their attack as described. As a note, I run combat as "the most favorable order for the party, not who posts first" so don't take cover out for your attacks from them :)

For the record, the augmentations aren't named in the module and I made the bit about the Wildwise. It makes sense though, as that's the only augmentation I've really seen used.

For the sake of clarity, you -can- release / attack the Assembly Ooze, but as you managed to keep the Shirren from activating it and kept it contained, that suffices for full credits, XP, and the like. Philt will offer to take care of it.

OMG.... I spent all of level 2 with two less spells known than I could have had. Major facepalm.

On the bright side... leveling up to 3 means I get 4 new spells known, including the makeup.
